whipped

Class 2-A was divided into four neat categories that almost always stayed consistent.

Category one are the shippers of BakuDeku as they were calling Katsuki and Izuku's couple name.

Falling into this category was the self proclaimed leader of the BakuDeku shippers, Mina, and her fellow Bakusquaders, Denki, Hanta, and Kyouka. Then there was Aoyama Yuga and Tokoyami Fumikage, and then the two that waver, depending on their moods. They were die-hards in their first year but after the TodoDeku Scandal they abandoned ship for some time only to return occasionally when new evidence emerged. These two were Toru and Rikido, who were firm believers that Izuku and Katsuki are exes at the very least.

The second category of class 2-A consists of the students who believe Izuku and Katsuki are just friends. The students who fall into this category are Mineta Minoru, Shoji Mezo, Ojiro Mashirao, and Momo. Eijiro and Tsuyu also fall into this category, saying that even if they are more than friends the class should wait for the pair to tell them themselves rather than meddle.

The third category consists of the students who couldn't care less about BakuDeku for different reasons. Koda Kouji because he has his animals to look after. Tenya because he finds it inappropriate and wrong to theorize about classmates' love lives instead of focusing on schoolwork and hero training. And Ochako for reasons she has not disclosed with the class.

And the final category is the one that consists of the three students at the center of everything. Izuku, Katsuki and Shoto. They don't - or rather, can't - fit into any of the other categories because of the class excluding them from their shipping affairs so they have their own category, separate from everyone but still very much relevant.

For the most part, the division of these categories does not interfere with the flow of classes or life in the dorms. Everyone got along with each other well enough, respected each other's opinions, and were mature about matters, figuring things out like the fledgling heroes they were.

Key words; most part.

Now was not one of those times where opinions were respected and everyone was acting like the mature, fledgling heroes they were supposed to be.

Despite everyone having agreed with Mina only a mere half hour prior about the tension between Izuku and Katsuki being 'sexual', opinions on that quickly changed when the duo left the dorms with Shoto after returning down stairs, laughing and chatting about getting in extra training before dinner.

Once the trio left and the front door to the dorms closed behind them, everyone waited a beat before they delved into the topic that seemed to consume almost all their conversations.

It started out calm and collected, but this was Class A. Things usually never stay that way.

"Why is Todoroki third wheeling a very obvious date?" Mina wailed, hands curling tightly in her hair, distress evident on her face as she turned to her fellow BakuDeku shipper on the other side of Momo.

"It isn't a date, Ashido. They clearly said they were going to train." Momo ever so calmly explained to the pink girl.

"Babe, I love you, but Todoroki is totally third wheeling right now." Kyouka put a hand over Momo's as she said this, trying to soften the already soft blow.

Denki and Hanta yelled their agreement from the kitchen, trying to sneak cupcakes before dinner. Rikido noticed this and swatted their hands away with a dish towel, sending the two boys scurrying out of the kitchen.

"I don't think Todoroki is third wheeling Deku and Bakugou." Ochako joined the conversation, peeking up from the book she had returned to after the earlier discussion. "I mean, the three of them did get closer last year after Tsu and Hagakure saw Todoroki and Deku ki - "

"Ah, ah, ah! We don't talk about the Dark Times!" Toru yelled, hands over her ears. "The day my BakuDeku heart was shattered."

Eijiro entered the room, hairband holding his red locks back off his forehead. He took one look at everyone and instantly knew what the topic was. Sighing as he grabbed a glass of water, the teen took a seat next to Ochako on the couch. "We've been telling you guys, Bakubro and Midoriya are just friends. And even if they aren't, let them tell us when they're ready to."

Ochako nodded her head in agreement.

"Besides, why would they be together when there are so many beautiful, big boobed gi - "

"And that's enough." Hanta taped Mineta up, putting him in the time out corner.

"You have to admit, they have undeniable chemistry." Fumikage added, glancing at Mezo.

"Since they've been friends from diapers." Mezo pointed out.

Fumikage sighed.

And that was when Yuga stepped in and the drama exploded.

"Mon dieu. All of you nonbelievers are blind to the fact that Bakugou has clearly been in love with Midoriya his whole life and has been unsure of what to do with those feelings, therefore has expressed them and his frustration with them through aggression towards the boy of his affection. Midoriya is a very analytical person and caught on quickly but knew if he made the first move Bakugou's fragile ego would be wounded. So Midoriya - the angel he is - waited until Bakugou made a move. And the rest is history." Yuga sighed, shaking his head dramatically with a hand on his forehead. "It is très tragique that you cannot see that."

A beat passed before anyone did anything.

A snort came from Mina before she broke into giggles. "You all just got told off by Aoyama. Worse, he almost spoke like a normal person while doing so!" Yuga gasped. "No offense."

"Ashido, that is not very - "

Ochako cut Iida off, slamming her book shut and standing up, her pink cheeks now red. "Iida, not now." The class representative closed his mouth, lowering his raised arm. "Even if they are together like some of you believe, it isn't our place to meddle! Coming out is a deeply personal thing and we shouldn't be forcing them if they aren't ready, if they even are together."

Denki took a bite of the cupcake he managed to sneak, looking at Ochako. "I'm bisexual and it isn't a big deal for me to say it, so why should it be for them to say they like guys? And how would you know it is a 'deeply personal' thing to come out?" Ochako's face reddened even further as she stood there for a moment before bolting for the stairs. It took Denki a second to realize what he did. Guilt flooded his features. "Oh. Oh. Damn, I'm such an idiot."

"Could've happened to anyone, man." Eijiro gave the electric blond a sympathetic look, sipping his water.

Tsuyu silently made her way to the stairs, heading up to Ochako's dorms to check on the brunette while everyone down stairs sat in a semi uncomfortable atmosphere.

After a couple minutes of silence Tenya suggested they get started on dinner.

Nobody disagreed.

When dinner was well underway being cooked the three boys returned to the dorms, heading straight to their rooms to grab clothing for the showers. Once they were clean and no longer gross from training, they went to the kitchen just as dinner was being placed on the table, Tsuyu and Ochako having joined the rest of the class in preparing dinner while the boys were in the showers.

Everyone sat down, the mood noticeably subdued yet no one was commenting on it.

Nobody except Katsuki.

"Alright, what the hell happened while we were gone?" Katsuki demanded answers, lowering his chopsticks when the silence continued for a few moments too long outside his little group of Izuku, Shoto, and Eijiro.

"Nothing." Several classmates replied, raising suspicions even more.

Izuku copied Katsuki's earlier movements, lowering his chopsticks with a nervous smile at his class. "Is everything alright?"

A few teens exchanged meaningful looks, conversing with their eyes.

'Do we tell the truth?'

'No! Are you crazy!'

'Yeah! Bakugou would kill us!'

'Worse, Midoriya might cry.'

'Then Bakugou would make our deaths even more gruesome.'

'Or Todoroki would join in the killing.'

Everyone in the conversation shuddered at the thought of the heterochromatic teen murdering them.

Apparently, some of the class didn't get the memo.

"I might've done something stupid and hurt somebody."

Or they were just feeling guilty.

Katsuki muttered something about nothing being new, Izuku kicking him under the table while Eijiro winced. Shoto looked around the table to try and figure out who Denki hurt, eyes zeroing in on Ochako.

"Uraraka, are you okay?"

The girl nodded. "Yeah, I'm alright."

Izuku turned away from Katsuki at the mention of one of his friend's names. "Did you see Recovery Girl?" The table fell quiet once more. "What? What is it?"

Ochako smiled at Izuku. "It wasn't a physical injury, Deku. But don't worry, it's fine. Really. I'm okay."

Katsuki's eyes were going between the brunette and the blond, trying to put the pieces together. "Dunce face."

Denki avoided his eyes. "Yeah?"

"What did you do?"

"I don't want to do it again, so you should ask Uraraka." Denki deferred to the girl, sending her an apologetic look.

"What did he do to you?" Katsuki grunted at Ochako, the tension rising at the table.

"Kacchan, maybe you should leave it alone." Izuku more so told Katsuki then suggested to him, taking a bite of his rice. "Kaminari says it is something that he doesn't want to happen again and Uraraka says she is fine, so we should leave it alone."

"Deku."

"Kacchan."

Green eyes stared into red ones, neither wavering for what felt like forever.

The rest of the table watched the stare down, curious to see the outcome.

Katsuki scoffed, looking to Ochako and away from Izuku. "You say you're fine, so you better not complain later."

He turned back to his dinner, ignoring the smug expression on Izuku's face and the mild shock from most of the class.

Mina leaned into Hanta's side, making sure her voice was low enough so that only he could hear her. "Bakuhoe is so whipped."

Hanta nodded, still stunned by what went down.
