As dawn breaks the night sky, Y/N and Taehyung prepare for the battle. The battle that once took everything away from them when they were at their lowest.

Taehyung overcame the paralysis spell quite quickly after he heard that Gong Yoo had killed his parents. He couldn't believe that, out of everybody, Gong Yoo was the one who killed his parents. He thought of him as his father, and this is what he does. And all this for what? The kingdom? He could have given him the kingdom if he had even asked for it. Now, he was nothing to Taehyung other than his enemy. The enemy that he had to kill.

On the other side, Gong Yoo and Jay B called Got7 to the battle preparations too. All they could think of was having the Dark World to themselves. One mistake by the royals caused the entire Dark World to soon suffer the wrath of Gong Yoo, who is now back to being Demi Boss.

Y/N's powers weren't fully out. They were on and off at different times, and so she was equal to a ticking bomb that would either blow off or diffuse itself. As BTS, Taehyung, and Y/N stood in the courtyard of the dark lord's palace, Demi Boss, Jay B, and Got7 stood opposite them. Y/N pulled out Jay B's necklace, dangling it in front of him like meat in front of a wolf.

The eagerness to get it back almost felt as if his life depended on that little piece of cord and silver. "You want it?" Y/N asked him only for Jay B to flash his orange eyes at her, nodding his head aggressively.

"What's so important about it, huh? It's just a necklace."

"Just a necklace? Y/N darling," Jay B walked up to Y/N, circling around her. "You don't know how close this necklace has brought me to you."

Taehyung's ears burned in jealousy as he stepped up and pushed the Got7 leader away from the girl. HIS girl. "Stand there and talk."

"Chillax, man, she doesn't excite me."

Y/N snapped at the vampire in annoyance. "Do you want the necklace or not?!"

"What a question! Obviously darling." Jay B replied as he outstretched his hand. "Gimme."

Y/N looked back at Taehyung one last time to make sure he didn't need the necklace. She had a bad feeling about returning the necklace. If it was just a necklace, then why is he so eager to get it back? Her mind twisted in questions, and she decided to turn the situation around.

"On second thoughts," Y/N said, grabbing everyone's attention, "I'll keep it. I do love to have a nice collection."

Jay B couldn't take it anymore; he leapt up to Y/N and snatched the necklace from her as Taehyung quickly pushed him away. Jay B, stabilising himself again, looked at the necklace in his hand.

"Stupid girl. This must mean something to me if I'm that desperate to get it back." With that, he put his necklace back on as an orange light started to emit out of it. The light slowly shone through his entire body as his true vampire self came out.

Taehyung knew it. He should have known this the minute Demi Boss betrayed him. After all, the necklace was his son's, so he hid the power side of it and diverted BTS' attention, saying that the necklace was just an accessory.

Jay B twirls a power ball around his hands as he looks into Y/N's eyes. "You've troubled me so much; I think it's about time you repay for all my struggles." The power ball gets bigger and brighter as he lifts his hands back and shoots it at Y/N, but Taehyung moves Y/N to the side. He gets struck with it instead.

The power ball caused his powers to disappear, as his green eye colour and magic sword were both gone. He was powerless.

Not having his powers, Taehyung cannot run fast, fly, or use his mind to move anything without contact. DemiBoss tells Got7 to kill Taehyung and Y/N. He knows that Y/N is dangerous for him now, so he can't risk his chances of being king.

Taehyung, on the other hand, will do anything but let DemiBoss sit on the King's throne. Both know how much power that throne holds for them and what can happen if DemiBoss were to take the throne. The offer that was made to Taehyung of taking DemiBoss's side and living together was immediately turned down after he found out that DemiBoss was the one who killed his parents.

As Got7 all make their way to Taehyung and Y/N, BTS stands in between them. They also know that today only one side will live while the other dies. Taehyung quickly took Y/N's hand and ran away, making sure that she got to a safe place until everything settled down. Taehyung ran with Y/N as fast as he could; he wasn't the one that ran away easily, but he was worried. I am worried about Y/N and her safety. He knew that he'd be living dead if anything happened to her, and so he ran. He ran for his world. His life... his euphoria.

The battle between BTS and Got7 commences with a dazzling display of magic as the demons from both sides unleash spells that light up the sky.

After countless attacks and defences, BTS managed to outrun Got7 as they disappeared to ashes. Jay B escaped the scene while BTS were defeating the others. Celebrating their small achievement, they looked around, only to realise that Demi Boss was missing. The tension started to rise as they figured that he may be after Taehyung and Y/N.

Taehyung and Y/N were running away to find a solution they could use to face Gong Yoo. When they got near a cliff, Demi Boss suddenly appeared in front of them and started to attack the pair. Taehyung tried his best to fight him off, but he was helpless because of his vanished powers.

Demi Boss punched Taehyung in the stomach and kicked him to the side as he pulled out his dagger and started to walk towards Y/N. Y/N had no choice but to slowly back away as Demi Boss continued to steadily step towards the girl. Just as he lifted the dagger backward to gain momentum, he used all his force to plunge the dagger into Y/N's body.

The slashing sound of the dagger cutting through flesh could be heard. Y/N's eyes were wide open in pain and fear as Demi Boss' face glowed with a devilish smile. Soon, blood started to drip to the ground as Y/N stood there, watching life drain out. Demi Boss' smile soon vanished as he saw the location of his dagger.

Two hands had enveloped Demi Boss' hand as they redirected the direction of the dagger's attack. A taller body stood in front of Y/N as it slightly shook in pain. Y/N looked at the man standing in front of her. The danger that was supposed to be falling on her was turned around. Demi Boss looked into the eyes of the man he had just stabbed.

Taehyung...

"Taehyung-ah!!!" Y/N screamed at the sight of him getting injured.

With all the pain and no strength to hold himself up, his legs start to tremble because of the force it is exerting on his core. Taehyung tripped on a rock and was about to fall off the cliff when Y/N quickly leaped in to hold his hand.

The cliffside, shrouded in mist, stood as a testament to the turbulent turn of events. Rain cascaded in relentless sheets, the air thick with the acrid scent of the storm. The girl, her soaked clothes clinging to her form, laid on the precarious ledge, desperately reaching for the guy's outstretched hand as he dangled perilously over the abyss.

"Please, don't let go!" She cried, her voice a mix of desperation and anguish.

His face, battered and bloodied, contorted in pain as he strained to maintain his grip. The rain obscured his features, but his eyes conveyed a depth of emotion that transcended words. In that moment, suspended between life and the yawning void below, they locked gazes. He managed a strained smile, a gesture laden with both love and sorrow. "You have to let me go. I can't hold on much longer."

"No, I am not letting you go, no matter what. I can't live without you. We will live together, and we will die together." Y/N started to cry louder at the thought of losing him.

Demi Boss started to laugh at the heartbreaking scene happening in front of him. "Really Y/N? Will you both live together or die together? Ok, then, I will make your wish come true." Just as he said that, he started to step on Y/N's other hand, which was holding onto a rock for extra support.

"AHHHH!!!!!" Y/N screamed in pain.

"No! let her go." Taehyung winced, the strain evident, but his eyes softened with an unwavering resolve. "Listen to me, Y/N. You need to live, even if it's without me. You're strong, and the world needs your light."

"Yeah, Y/N, let go. Come on. Even your Taehyung is telling you. Come on, you have to do it for him now. Let go." Demi Boss laughed harder.

Their hands trembled with the effort of holding on, the elements conspiring against their connection. In the midst of the storm, they shared heartfelt talks, memories of laughter, and dreams mingling with the howling wind.

"Never!!! I am never letting go of you, Taehyung. You lied to me about yourself, and now you have to tolerate me for your entire life. You can't just come into my miserable life, give me my life's best gift, and just leave. I am never letting you go."

"I love you," he confessed, the words carrying the weight of a final declaration. Her tears streamed down from her eyes and fell on Taehyung's cheeks.

"I love you too. I can't lose you."

He nodded, his gaze unwavering. "You won't lose me. I'll always be a part of you." With a painful grimace, he shifted his weight, forcing her to bear witness to the agony etched across his face.

The girl's fingers tightened around his, refusing to relinquish the lifeline that connected them.

"I need you to promise me," he gasped, his voice strained. "Promise me you'll find happiness, even without me."

She nodded, her words lost in the storm. Tears blurred her vision as he continued to speak words of encouragement and of a future without him. The realisation of the inevitable hung heavy in the air.

With a final, heart-wrenching glance, he whispered, "Let go, for both of us." Her resistance faltered as the harsh reality of their situation settled in. His fingers slipped from hers, leaving an indelible ache in her heart. The guy, now suspended by mere fingertips, looked into her eyes with a love that defied the cruel hand of fate.

"I love you," he mouthed, and then, with a heart-wrenching effort, he released his grip. The world seemed to slow as he descended, Y/N's anguished cry lost in the thunderous roar of the storm.

Taehyung looked at Y/N one last time and smiled before he fell as the deep, dark ocean swallowed him, a splash marking the moment of impact.

The girl, now alone on the desolate cliffside, clutched at the emptiness that lingered in the space where his warmth once existed. The rain continued its relentless assault, washing away not just the traces of their struggle but also the remnants of a love that had defied the cruel whims of fate.

"Who's going to protect you now, Y/N?" Demi Boss kneeled down to the crying girl and asked her in a mocking tone.

"Don't worry about me." Y/N lifted her face as her hands were covered in white and black smoke. "Worry about yourself. Who's going to protect you?" She turned her head towards the evil man. "This little fire was heating up too much, and you've caused her to burn you down!" Y/N screamed in anger as a huge wave of power from her hands spread around her, giving a long, deep cut to Gong Yoo's face.

He couldn't stay for much longer as the pain continuously ripped his soul out. He got up and disappeared in the black smoke of nothingness. Y/N's powers subsided again as she went back to looking at the spot where Taehyung fell. She didn't have the power to chase Gong Yoo down; she was too broken to even hold her head up.

A few minutes later, BTS' voices could be heard as they cheered, defeating their rivals, Got7. The only fury they had in them was that Jay B got away.

They cheered that the fight was now easier for them as they gave each other high fives and hugs, celebrating their victory. Jungkook went near the cliff and bent down to Y/N happily as he hugged her. He looked around him, not seeing any signs of Taehyung.

"Where's Hyung, Y/N?" He asked her, getting curious.

She didn't utter a single word; she just sat at the edge of the cliff, looking down at the ocean with tear stains on her cheeks. RM saw the two at the edge and told them to move away, seeing the dangerous height of the cliff. As Jungkook was moving her away, he saw Y/N's hands covered in blood.

Concerned about the blood on Y/N's hands and noticing the King's absence, he called the BTS members and showed them the blood on Y/N's hands. The cheering and laughing stopped as the boys came in closer to Y/N and Jungkook and asked her what happened and where Taehyung was. Y/N broke down, as she started crying and telling them the entire story.

Heartbroken, the boys looked at Y/N's blood-covered hand and then to the ocean. As Jungkook stood by Y/N's side, all the other boys opened their wings and jumped down the cliff in search of Taehyung. They divided up, with RM and Jin searching from the top and Jimin, J-Hope, and Suga searching from up close. The boys searched for almost an hour, not wanting to give up on their brother so fast. They kept searching and searching until they all could feel their visions blurring and filling with tears. They flew back up to the cliff and looked at Jungkook as they shook their heads before breaking down with uncontrollable tears.

Y/N sat on a rock, silent and numb, head to toe. Her mind kept playing the memories of her with Taehyung over and over again until the boys came and hugged her. That was when she came back to her senses and started to cry, like she was never going to cry again.

They had prepared for the battle. The battle that once took everything away from them when they were at their lowest.

Now, the same battle took everything away from them once again...
