Hey guys, just like I promised. So here it is... To make up for the really late update, I have made this a long chapter. ENJOY!!!

"Hey umm, where did you get that necklace from?" I finally questioned him pointing at the necklace.

"Oh this necklace" He looked down at the necklace hanging out of his pocket.

"Well this.... ummmm.... I.. um... here. I was going to give it to you but then I forgot and you never asked me if I found any necklace that you lost and were looking for." he stuttered his words out

"Thank you" I take the necklace from him when his last sentence strikes my head. "How did you know that I lost it and that I was looking for it?" curiosity ran a chill down my spine. 

"What if  he is one of the people who were present at the mansion???..."

"Well... I remember you asking me where I got that necklace from just a few seconds ago, clearly showing that it must be yours because of your sudden shock and interest with this necklace being with me. And if that explanation is not really killing your curiosity then how about this, that necklace fell from your pocket when I picked you up in that unconscious state of yours, yesterday.

I looked down at the necklace barely convinced at his explanation and as I finally looked up, the last glimpse of him I got was when he walked past me, went inside his apartment and closed his door. 

V POV

Giving Y/N the explanation, I didn't wait for her to say anything more to me. I walked past her and went inside my apartment, as I was closing the door I saw a glimpse of her face with her eyes bluntly piercing my soul..... Well.... only if I had one. I finally closed the door and leaned my back on it, "she has started doubting me, now I have to be careful and try my best to avoid her. Why does this have to happen..."

THE NEXT DAY...

First day of university

Y/N got up bright and early for her first day at her University. It's time for her to finally catch the dream that she had been sleeping and dreaming for all these years, now its finally time for her to get up and chase that dream. A dream that even her parents dreamed of day and night with their darling daughter.

Y/N got up, did her early morning routines and got dressed in this,

She then got all the things that she will be needing for the day and went towards the door before she remembers that she has left the necklace in her room. It had been almost lost once, she can't lose it again and that one little thing the the only thing that will help her in getting to the culprit. Y/N turned back and walked towards her room and picked up the necklace from her bedside drawer when she felt a presence behind her. A cold presence that sent fast electrical chills down her spine continuously. She turned around and saw a black hooded man in her mirror, the dark smoke floating around him as he stepped out of the mirror and leaped towards her. Y/N jumped to the side and closed her eyes and when she finally opened her eyes, the man and the smoke was gone, she looked at the mirror from which the man came out from and cautiously touched it... Nothing happened. Maybe it was an illusion or a hallucination because of all the things that had been happening lately. But that was not going to stop her from getting to the truth that she has been searching for the last 2 years. 

She finally put the necklace in her pocket and went towards her apartment door, closing it as she made her way towards the elevator. One thing that she did not realise was that something was being written on her mirror after the suspicious imaginary man had leaped out. Not long after Y/N went into the elevator, V opened the door of his apartment and walked towards Y/N's apartment door and looked at it before going off to the university himself.

At the university...

Y/N POV

I am finally standing in front of the University looking at the huge sign hanging on top of the gate and then at the stone which also shows the name of the university. "This is it, the day that I have been waiting for, the day that I have dreamt for almost my entire life." I say to myself as I walk into the University and make my way towards the reception office. 

"Please give me your full name and your age for confirmation along with your timetable and scholarship confirmation given to you upon your registration" said the woman who sat behind the large reception table in the office. She was the same person who gave me my timetable and scholarship letter when I first came here, I am surprised that she remembers me from all the hundreds of students and in just one encounter.

"Y/N L/N, 22 years old. Here is the timetable and this is my scholarship confirmation." I say while the woman smiled and gently took the documents from my hand entering the details and checking my information.

"Your first lecture will be in the main lecture theater and it will be starting in 20 minutes dear." she said handing back my timetable and scholarship documents. "I hope that you feel welcomed into our university and that you enjoy your journey."

"Kamsahabnida (thank you)" I take the documents from her and thank her. 

"Chamanhehyo (you're welcome)"

I walk out of the reception's office and explore around the University familiarizing myself with all the places until it's time for my first lecture. 

V POV

The lectures started and I was sitting in the second row just above Y/N's but I don't think she saw me or even realised that I was there. Everything went really well, she was able to understand a lot of the concepts and answer most of the questions. Since she was sitting in the first row the lecturer made sure that she was on the right track and he even helped her with the things that she did not understand. Looking at how impressed the lecturer was, the other students started feeling jealous and making up stupid assumptions like Y/N and the lecturer were related or they were in a relationship. They even gave her a nickname Nerd 2.0. It was annoying to listen to the students saying all those annoying things about Y/N, I don't know why the nickname was not the problem but the relationship assumptions were getting on my nerves. I turned around to shush the students.

"Can you guys just keep quiet, she is new here and you guys are talking like that about her."

A group of students then turned to me and said, "you also keep it quiet nerd. you are the first nerd and so when another one comes we have to have someone to give you company." the other students in the group laughed it off as I turned back around to face the lecturer to listen to what he was teaching. Not long after, the lecture ends and all the students are released, I could see the group of students who were talking about Y/N leaving right behind her, it was not good, not good at all. Something bad was going to happen, and I know it. I just know it too well to predict it.

Author POV

As Y/N was heading out to her break to revise all the things that she learnt just now when a group of students stop her and start asking her all sorts of things. 

Girl one: Hi, you're Y/N right?

Y/N: Yes, I am

Guy one: Wow, you are so smart, I can see that you get along very well with the lecturer... What's up between you two?

Y/N: I'm sorry. What?

Girl two: Of course they must be related because the lecturer never goes on and stays explaining the whole lecture to one student

Girl three: I mean like what if they're going out...

Y/N: Excuse me! If I'm quiet then that doesn't mean that I won't speak again. So might as well mind your own business and keep your stupid assumptions for yourself.

The situation between Y/N and the group got heated when another group of girls came in the middle of the argument. Y/N felt irritated that these girls will also start ganging up on her but she was wrong.

???1: Whoa, whoa, whoa. look at these people. Look at how these people are ganging up on a new student. Smile for the camera.

???2: Lisa look they are hiding their faces now, looks like they are shy.

???3: If you guys were not shy while doing and saying all these things to Y/N then why are you guys embarrassed now huh?

???4: Oh come on Jisoo, I think that they are camera- conscious. What do you say, we circulate their video throughout the entire campus?

The group of students ran away before the four girls could say any further. The girls turned to Y/N who was stunned that the fact that there are some kids in the campus who like to stand up against these kinds of things. 

???1: Hey, don't worry they're like that. I'm Lalisa by the way but you can call me Lisa.

Lisa said as she shook hands with Y/N. 

???2: And I'm Jennie

Jennie smiled at Y/N and then shook hands with her.

???3: Hi I'm Jisoo nice to meet you!!!

Jisoo smiled at Y/N and then hugged her.

???4: Hi Y/N I'm Roseanne but you can call me Rosé. We are in the fashion and modelling degree and our group name is called BlackPink.

Y/N and Blackpink talked about themselves getting to know one another when it was time for them to go to their next lectures. 

After the lecture...

After Y/N's second lecture was over, she met up with Blackpink at the courts of the campus. Blackpink were talking about how their journey in the fashion degree was so far and Y/N also talked about how she is finding her life at University. At just one meeting Y/N and Blackpink got really close to each other because of how they think similar and what their purpose in life is. Everything was going great until a group of boys showed up, they all looked handsome but when they started talking ugly, Y/N's eyes were focusing on the noses that she will be punching off...

???1: Hey, you are that new scholarship student right?

???2: Oh, she's the one?

???3: Just as I expected her to be. 

???4: Short and a huge nerd.

Y/N: I am not short for your information and yes I am a nerd, what is it that it bothers you so much?

They laughed about it. Y/N tried to ignore them until they said their next words.

???5: I heard that she was supposed to be here 2 years ago but she left the scholarship on hang because her parents died. 

???6: Yeah and I also heard that they died because of a snake bite.

???7: Y/N, Y/N, Y/N... were your parents that naïve that they couldn't save themselves from a snake?

That was when Y/N had absolutely enough of them. She could feel flames of heat creeping up her spine as she clenched her fists so hard that her knuckles turned white. Her jaws biting down so hard that she could feel the blood in her brain boiling.

Y/N: ENOUGH!!! You are bloody jerks, you are nobody to talk about how my parents were, how they died or how much they understood about this world. And if you guys don't shut the hell up then you will also know why my silence is the best for all of you!!!

The group of boys and Blackpink were surprised that Y/N actually has a voice of her own to shut them up. After Y/N raged her anger out through words, she saw that V was standing in the distance, looking at her with surprised expressions written all over his face. After noticing that Y/N is looking at him, V walks off, judging but his acts Y/N could tell that he wanted to help her but then something seemed to be stopping him. 

After the group of boys went away, Blackpink calmed Y/N down, telling her who the boys were. 

Lisa: Don't worry about them Y/N, they are too dumb to understand what they are saying. We understand that you are hurt and that they brought up such a sensitive topic about you.

Y/N: But how did they know about my parents Lisa?

Jisoo: The thing is Y/N, that you were the only student to get the scholarship in this university two years ago and that was different because you stood out from others. But when the news of you not attending the university came, it made some of the students curious until they found out what the exact reason was.

Y/N: Now I get it.... Now if I say anything to them, their only weapon to mentally injure me is the nasty talk about how my parents died. But who are these jerks who think that they are some celebrity?

Jennie: Well, long story short, they are Got7. They are a boy band who are in the music department. The first guy to talk to you was Jackson, the second one was BamBam, the third one was Jinyoung, the fourth one was Youngjae, and the fifth one who brought up your parents was Jay B, he is the leader of Got7.

Y/N: And so who were the other two?

Rosé: The sixth one was Yugyeom and the last one was Mark. They are wanting to be the best there is but there is another boy band called BTS. BTS has been winning all the music festivals there has been in this university and that makes Got7 BTS's rivals because thy are always looking for ways to bring down BTS and become the best themselves.

Y/N: Who are BTS? And do you now them?

Lisa: You'll see. They have a rehearsal round tomorrow before they go on to their next music festival. We know them since we all started university at the same time. Anyway, today must have been a roller coaster kind of day for you why not we go to the club tomorrow. What say?

Y/N: I don't know about that.....

Jisoo: Oh come on Y/N-nie. Please. Pretty pweese...

Y/N: Ok alright. Tomorrow it is.

They all bid their goodbyes to each other before going to their houses. Y/N crossed the road and went up the old building.

Y/N POV

Today was a hectic start for the first day of university. Now that I got plans with Blackpink I can finally divert my mind from whatever happened today. 

As I walked to my door when I heard footsteps running towards me. As I turned around I saw V running towards me but too bad that his laces were untied and he tripped on them landing his body directly on me. I closed my eyes when I felt my back come in direct contact with the ground. I could feel a warm sensation on my lips as if something soft were on them. I opened my eyes to see V extremely close to me.....

His lips were on top of mine...
