"No, I'm pretty sure we're witches."

Dahine hit her friends arm. "Yes, but witch is used as a negative term by the Norms."

"Dahi, you are the only witch alive that cares about what Norms think about us."

"Shut up, Eise, you're no better than me. You're obsessed with those amines."

"It's anime. The plural is anime."

Dahine and Eiseline have been friends since the beginning of Pre-K.

They immediately hit it off when a bully stole Eiseline's pink crayon- her most prized possession at the time- and Dahine 'magiked' him into a toad, and brought it back to her.

It was a weird friendship, one they'd never make on their own, but they had been friends since they were kids, and the know everything about each other.

And here they were, about to join college.

So, I had this idea when I was searching around on amazon looking for something to waste my paycheck on, and I stumbled upon a board-thingy that was titled 'Small town witch'. I did a brain dump, and it eventually turned into this.

So pretty much, this is a world where wizardry and witchcraft exist, but the Mages are afraid of Norms, or, as they like to call themselves, humans. 

They all know what went down at Salem (the witch hunt) and they definitley do not  want a repeat of that.

It's a modern setting. 

Okies, so let's talk about some Mage cultural traits™

 Tarot card readers and fortune tellers are frowned upon, especially when they use their powers for Norms.

Mages are descended from the god Erebus, the Grecian god of darkness and shadow, who *ahem* mated *ahem* with mortals.  Very few Mages are even half-blood, so you might imagine how hard it is to find a pure-blood.

Mage currency is called crowns. (10 crowns= 1 USD)
