"How are things with you and Uraraka?"

Izuku jumped. He smiled, but started to sweat. 

"Uh, yeah, things are great!" Izuku said. He laughed nervously. 

I raised my eyebrows. "What's wrong?" I asked.

"Uh, well, sometimes, she pushes me away to talk to Mina..." He scratched his head.

"But, other than that, we're good! Things couldn't be better! She's perfect!" He gave me a huge grin.

You know me, Mom. I wanted to smile back, but I couldn't. I don't know why I couldn't for my only real friend.

Kaminari sat down with us. "Hey guys, have you seen Momo?" He asked.

I suddenly felt weird and guilty. I had seen Momo, but I didn't want to tell him that his girlfriend was kissing Tenya Iida in the bathrooms. Or that she had been planning to cheat on him with Iida, but he was too respectful and kindly told her that it wasn't fair to Kaminari, but thanked her for the kiss.

Izuku also knew this. He seemed like he wanted to tell Kaminari the truth, but I didn't want to hurt the poor guy.

I acted quickly. "No, sorry," I said. Kaminari nodded and smiled.

"Okay, thanks, tell me if you do!" Kaminari waved.

I let out a sigh of relief. Izuku stared at me.

"Don't you feel bad about lying?" He asked me.

"Not when the alternative was telling him something that his girlfriend should tell him. It's not my business, I'd rather just stay out of it," I explained. Izuku nodded and smiled. He jumped out of his seat.

"Ochaco!" He called. "Ochaco!" I turned around. Ochaco frowned as Izuku ran up to greet her. He tried to kiss her, but she pushed him away. I leaned in closer to hear.

"Not out here, Deku! You're making a scene!" She whispered harshly. Izuku looked sad.

Uraraka had always been the kindest, sweetest person, other than Deku. Why was she being such a jerk? Was she in love with Mina?

"I'm gonna sit with the girls today, I'll see you later Deku," she said calmly.

I hated that she called him Deku. Even if it is his hero name, it's still an insult.

Izuku sat back down across from me. I turned to him.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

Izuku nodded and smiled, but he looked like he was gonna cry. "Am I doing something wrong?" 

I shook my head. "Nothing. But, do you think she's in love with Mina?"

Izuku looked startled. "N-no! W-we're happy together! O-or, at least we were..." He trailed off. I nodded.

"Maybe just give her space for now. Just leave her alone for a few days, then go talk to her. Maybe that's all she needs," I offered.

He beamed. "Thanks, Shoto! You're the best!" By the way, Mom, we're on a first-name basis, if you couldn't tell.

Tenya sat down next to Izuku.

"Where is Ochaco?" Iida asked.

"She didn't want to sit with us today," I explained.

Tenya nodded. "Was it you? Who stumbled in the bathroom?" I nodded.

"And Izuku," I said. Izuku smiled at Iida nervously.

"I think I'm in love with her, but Denki is a good man, so I will not disrespect him by kissing his girlfriend," Tenya declared.

"You're a good guy, Tenya!" Izuku said.

I nodded. "That's bold."

Tenya smiled. "Thanks." The bell rang. Time to finish their classes.

Normally, I don't do fanfiction, but it's for a good cause! I feel so loose! I'm not even trying with this, so I don't care that it's bad and cliched. I'm having so much fun, not worrying about word counts and what to do next! I'm just gonna roll with it! Comment and vote and whatever if you liked it, I don't care.
