The "Calm" Before the Storm
She closed the gate to the elevator after figuring out how, and waited for it to go down.
The elevator rattled a bit before moving to the appropriate floor.
Once they arrived, she cautiously stepped out of the lift. She examined the area for a moment before commenting on it. "Wow... Seems like she's confident in herself," she huffed.
Bendy snickered and covered his mouth.
"You have no idea..."
"Oh gosh..." she replied.
Bendy smirked and started to follow her.
She soon made it to the door. "B-Bendy...? I-I'm really nervous," she admitted.
"It's okay, I'm going to be right here with you." Bendy said.
She nodded, feeling a bit better. She softly knocked on the door.
The door opened a little, but the lights inside were dark.
(Y/N) turned the flashlight on so she could see, and feel more comfortable about her surroundings.
The room appeared to be more like a narrow hallway leading to another door.
She walked torwards the door, keeping a close watch on the area around her.
Bendy moved quietly behind her, his guard seemed to be up.
When she got to the door, she reached up and tried opening it.
The room panned out into a pit filled with ink. Wooden boards made a path across the ink, but this was not the most notable thing about the room. There, closest to (Y/N) and Bendy was an imperfect Boris with exposed ribs and an empty chest cavity.
(Y/N) was horrified of what she saw. She covered her mouth in shock and let out a whimper. "O-oh my god..."
Bendy's face started to drip ink from the stress.
"Boris?!"
She looked back at Bendy with sadness and pity. "B-Bendy... I-I'm so sorry..." Tears rolled down her face.
Bendy cautiously went to get a closer look. His eyes showed not a single emotion.
She watched as he walked closer, trying to make sure he was okay.
"This isn't the right Boris." Bendy said finally.
"I-it's still horrifying to see something like this..." She shuddered and wrapped her arms around herself.
"She'll pay for this." Bendy said bitterly. He was already transforming into ink form
"I-I can't believe I was going to try to talk to a murderer," she said bitterly, not noticing that Bendy had gone into his ink form.
"She's gone too far this time." Bendy grumbled. His voice morphed a little this time.
She looked up at him and hugged him. "Bendy..."
Bendy hesitated for a moment.
"Hm?"
"Seeing Boris like this... It's changed my mind about Alice." She frowned.
"I didn't realize she got worse." Bendy said
"Do you want to go back...?" She asked gently.
"I want to run in there and cause chaos." Bendy smirked darkly.
"Bendy, that would only make you the same as her! Do you want to be a murderer too?" She looked up at him, hugging him tighter. Tears threatened to fall from her (E/C) colored eyes.
"But..." Bendy seemed conflicted
"I understand that she's done wrong. I don't like her either, but killing her isn't going to make you any better. You're only going to damage yourself," she told him gently.
"I'm not sure she's the same person anymore." Bendy said sadly
"She may not be. But— even if she's a murderer— she's got to be somewhere in there, don't you think?" She said, with a little bit of hope.
"I'm not really sure " Bendy said, starting to come to his senses.
"You never truly know until you try, right?" She gave him a small smile in hopes to cheer him up a little.
"That's true. But I won't hesitate to hurt her if she gets aggressive." Bendy huffed.
"Only if she throws the first punch, okay?" She told him.
"What if you get hurt though?" Bendy said concerned.
"I-I'll be fine... I've been severely hurt before, and I'm still alive now, aren't I?" She reasoned. She really didn't want to tell him about her abuse, though it was easy to notice she'd been hurt way too many times to be accidental, due to the large amount of scars on her body. She had a dull look in her eyes as well.
"No. If she so much as walks towards you menacingly, I'm going to put her in her place. I don't care. If that does happen, you need to run. I will be able to find you." Bendy said stubbornly.
She flinched, and then nodded. She didn't know he could be like this. She then gave a small smile, knowing that he cared about her.
Bendy smiled back.
"Ok, are we ready?" He asked
She nodded, feeling determined to talk to Alice.
