Nightmare

Bendy found the fact that she fell asleep on him to be amusing, but gently moved out from under her.

Her quiet breathing was able to be heard as she slept.

Bendy went to find a way to open the soup can.

She turned over on her left side, and curled up in a ball while still in her slumber.

Bendy didn't bother her and tried to stay quiet

She soon began to have a nightmare. She tossed and turned, letting out a few whimpers. "N-no... S-stop... Please, somebody... H-help me..."

Bendy went over to see what was happening. He didn't seem to understand that she was dreaming and just tilted his head a little in confusion.

"G-get off me...! D-Dylan, stop! Please, I-I don't want this...!" Her nightmare continued as a few tears slipped down her cheeks.

Bendy crouched down next to her.
"Hey, I think you're dreaming!" Bendy said, hopeful that could wake her.

Unfortunately, she did not even stir in her slumber. She continued to change positions where she was sleeping, and still cried. "D-Dylan, stop...! N-no... N-no, g-get off! L-leave me alone!"

Bendy gently tried to shake her.

She sat bolt upright, breathing hard. She looked around, and saw Bendy next to her. Tears escaped her eyes, and she suddenly engulfed him in a hug. She began to sob.

Bendy jumped a little, but hugged her back.
"Hey, what happened?" Bendy asked.

"N-nightmare... a-and... I-I guess kind of a flashback...?" She cried in his arms as quietly as she could.

"A nightmare?" Bendy didn't seem to know what that meant.

"A bad dream. One where it makes you really uncomfortable," she explained.

"Oh! I've had those before. I didn't know that they had a name." Bendy admitted.

"They certainly aren't fun... especially mine. It keeps reminding me of what happened in the past..." Tears streamed down her face.

"Oh, I can understand that. I'm sorry that happens." Bendy said.

"I-it's fine... I h-have to l-live with it, and I know that th-this isn't even the w-worst part of m-my life," she said. "Th-there's probably something worse out there, w-waiting for its chance to s-strike me down and w-w-watch me s-suffer..."

"Hey, but what if something way more amazing happens?" Bendy asked.

"L-like what...?" She asked, trying not to cry.

"What if, just when everything seems so wrong, something right happens and you're entire understanding of things change for the better?" Bendy said in an oddly specific way.

"It... I-it seems impossible to me right now, but... m-maybe you're right," she said hopefully.

"Dreams can make the impossible, possible." Bendy said, remembering a specific conversation.

"I-I... I guess so... in some cases," she stammered quietly.

"Yeah, it completely depends on the person and situation too." Bendy said a bit bitterly.

She let out a small sigh. "The whole world is filled with corrupted people... It's hard to tell what kind of turn life will take..."

"Yeah, it's weird." Bendy said

"I-I agree..." She reluctantly let go of Bendy, wiping away her tears. She knew that they had to keep going, but she felt too broken to move. She couldn't even look Bendy in the eye.

"Hey, if you see a weird wardrobe-like thing labeled as a miracle station, if something is following you, please go in one until it leaves." Bendy said.

"H-how does it work...?" She asked quietly.

"It's a rule Joey put into this place. Ink creatures cannot break this rule." Bendy said.

Her mouth made an 'O' shape, and she nodded in understanding. "But wait, what if they find me in there?"

"Then I'll take care of it." Bendy gave her a dark smirk.

"O-okay... J-just— T-try not to g-g-get hurt, alright...?" She blushed shyly and rubbed her arm while looking down at the ground.

"I don't remember being hurt before." Bendy frowned as he looked down at one of his hands in thought.

"W-well that's good..." she muttered, fiddling with her thumbs.

"It's kind of weird though too." Bendy admitted

"Really? How so?" She asked curiously.

"Well I once fell down the elevator shaft, but I didn't really get bothered by it." Bendy said.

(Y/N) looked worried. "U-um... D-does that have to do with you being a toon...?"

"Oh! You know that's probably why that happened! I just thought I was weird, but I think you're right." Bendy seemed happy.

"M-maybe," she replied.

"I guess I will have to ask someone later." Bendy shrugged.

"I think we should get going. The sooner we try to talk to Alice, the better." She suggested.

"Well, hopefully." Bendy smiled.

She returned the smile with an innocent one. She stood, holding out her hand to help Bendy up.

Bendy accepted the help back up.
"Thanks!" He said

"You're very welcome," she told him. "Now then, off we go!"

"Yeah of course!" Bendy said enthusiastically. He went over to the door and held it open.

She thanked him with a smile before walking through the door, and waiting for him to lead the way.

Bendy shut the door quietly behind him. He moved to look down the hallway before he started taking the lead.

She followed him, making sure to watch out for any kind of danger as she went.
