I used to think we were a team,
    Together for a long time, sending enemies fleeing,
Didn't take you long to stomp it with your feet,
     Leave me stranded, burning with strong deceit.

One step away, two steps away,
     Like a ballerina, I danced all day.
To your tunes of dark promises,
      And fake love, I swayed to fade.

Words may have faded, bruises may have healed,
    Nevertheless your mind control, continues, to make me bleed.
Screaming constantly, voices of distress,
    Echoing around a mountain, making me a mess.

Why would you hurt me,
   If you claimed to love me?
Why would you burn my dreams!
    If you cared enough to cherish me?

You treated love like a game,
    I only wish you didn't want to taint,
My heart, mind, my soul wholely,
     Leaving me shattered, as yours, truly.

You came out of the forest fire,
    And led your life,
