Figured I should write a poem that speaks abt true love more often hehe. Btw guys I suggest listening to that song while reading the poem.

The cold nights, the cuddles in the dark,

      I lived for these moments since its start;

Hands intertwined, we created a world of epiphany,

    You kept me awake with our love's symphony.

The hugs grew longer, time was less,

    You loved me in all my broken mess;

Cooking to studying, baking to brewing,

    Every moment with you was worth me staying.

The start was a disaster, hiding from judgemental looks,

      We soon opened up and mocked those fools;

The smiles shared, the tears spared,

      Making this work, was all I cared.

Years of memories, bottled and cherished,

     Our love never perished;

I looked into the mirror as I lost hair regularly,

    You held my face and kissed me tenderly.

"It'll be alright." that's all you uttered,

    The final chemotherapy caused my heart to stutter;

I looked into your eye, content and at peace,

    I bid goodbye to you, without making "us" cease....
