I'm creating a Pokemon region! It's called Dapaw, and once I get all the details figured out there will be a story and/or RP about it :D

What do I base the fire and water starters off of?

Just name an animal.

Either an animal that is associated with fire or water (preferably one that Game Freak hasn't already made a Pokemon out of), or a random animal that I can try my best to do.

But don't suggest anything cat-like, because the Grass starter is a cat
