Sneaky Peaky

A/N  I hope you all like sneak peaks. Not sure when I'll get around to finished all these, but I'm not giving up on any of my drafts. Enjoy :)

'Long Lost'

     (Ty's POV)

A silence falls over the six of us, just as the door to my room opens up. A man walks in, a little bat perched on his shoulder. "Quinten, you asked me to........", his voice trails off as he looks at us. He's wearing a purple cloak, slightly singed on the bottom. A purple armband wraps around his wrist, with a faint scar on his neck. He stops walking, and just stares at us. He looks at each of us, scanning our faces one by one. It's honestly a little creepy. "Ok, what are all of your names, I need to know", he eventually says.

"Ty", I say.
"Quinten, but you know me", Quinten says.
"Mitch", Mitch chirps.
"Jerome here!", Jerome shouts.
"I'm Ssunndee", Ssunndee says.
"U-Uh Jason", Jason mumbles.

He pauses for a few seconds before he says, "I'm Seto, Seto Sorcerer". "Ok, now that introductions are over, I need you to look at the wound on Ty's head. I wouldn't have bothered you if it wasn't serious", Quinten says. Seto grunts before coming over to me. He quickly unwraps the bandages around my head, and grimaces. "Oh, that is bad. I think a healing potion should fox it up", he says as he pulls out a bottle with a pinkish liquid inside. "Seto, aren't  you a mage? One of the ones who can shoot fire?", Mitch asks excitedly. "U-Uh, yeah. I can do other things too. Like brew really strong potions". Seto says beofre dumping half the potion onto my head. The pain instantly stops, and I hear everyone except Seto gasp in amazement.

"Now before I leave, I have a question. Is there, umm........ one more of you?" Seto asks. "What do you mean? More people hurt?", I question. "N-Never mind. Just, umm....... never mind!", he nearly shouts before leaving the room. "That's even weirder then Ty's new amulet", Ssunndee says. What the heck made someone like Seto so jumpy? He's usually so calm and level headed. Quinten takes one last look at my head, before saying that I can leave.

Quinten stays to check on other patients, and the rest of us go back outside to the camp. The sun is setting, and it turns the sky a deep, orange color. This wasn't a very fun experience, but has brought us six closer together. The statue looms over the middle of the camp, casting a shadow onto the dirt. Did Sky ever really exist? What ever happened to him? It almost looks like the statue is missing something. I finger my new amulet while walking back to my tent. Questions can wait. I'm still exhausted from my little 'swim'.

'Brokenly, Restored'

"What do you think is wrong with him?", I softly ask Choco. "Matt would sometimes do this after a test at the lab, but we haven't been there for weeks", he answers. Quickly this time, Choco grabs onto Matt's arm. He shivers again but looks over at us. His one human eye is glassy and glazed over.

"Why is it always so dark?", Matt asks. His voice is flat, but he's hasn't said anything that like that for a long time. It's completely against his programming. "Matt!? How are you feeling?", I come up next to Choco. He looks out the window again before turning back. "Can you here me?", he says in the same tone. "Yeah, we're both here", Choco excitedly squeezes Matt's hand. He shakes his head quickly, "No, who are you?". Matt spasms again, and his knees buckle this time. Choco yelps while trying to support all his weight. He quickly recovers and blink rapidly before focusing back in.

"My system appears to have blacked out", Matt blandly says. He detaches himself from Choco and stands up straight. "Are you ok?", I quietly ask him. Choco seems defeated that Matt reverted right back to his programming. We both just want to see him be happy for once. "Coordinates have been added to my system. Latitude and Longitude", Matt doesn't answer my question, looking back put the window. "Coordinates? Come on, Matt. You can't follow those. What if there's a bunch of people waiting there to get you?", Choco immediately goes for the worst possible outcomes. I can't blame him. I never saw the worst of the lab like him and Matt did.

'Sky Butterfly'

(Ty's POV)

"What the hell just happened?", I blurt out. In front of me is the tiny person who I had just been holding, but now he's the same size as me! I look up to see that we're under a freaking car! I just shrunk like five feet! My frazzled mind can't make sense out of anything going on at the moment.

"What is Hell?", a voice speaks up. I snap myself away from my thoughts and look back up at the winged person. "What are you?", I ask him, my voice shooting a few octaves higher then normal. "The same as you silly, we're fairies", he giggles. Is this funny to him!? "Is that why you have wings and are so small? I-I'm not a fairy!", I say with my voice cracking. "Um..... I hate to break it to you, but we're the same size. And have you looked at yourself recently?", he asked me in a confused voice.

I try to come up with some kind of answer, but a flash of green snags my attention. I turn my head to see literal wings stuck to my back. I lurch up to my feet with a shriek, the sound actually making my ears ring. My wings flail out on their own accord and unbalance me enough to fall back onto my face. I instantly push myself back up on it a crouch with my mind still racing. Not only am I small, but I'm a freaking fairy!? Aren't they suppose to be a myth. Is this some kind of very realistic dream?

'Don't Forget'

Ross turns his head to look at his brother, shifting in his bed. Their mother wouldn't let either of them leave at night. She was nearly in tears the entire night to see both her boys healthy and together.
Max's bed was getting small for him when they left for the capital, and now he lays with his legs bent to fit.
"Still awake?", Ross whispers. The room is slightly lit by the moonlight from outside.
"I'm way too jumpy to sleep", Max mumbles back, laughing a little. They have to be quiet so that they don't wake their mom up. It gives Ross a wave of dejavu.
"I still can't believe how you got here. An assassin that nearly killed me, huh?", he smiles.
"I'm sure Mitch will keel over and die when we bring your hybrid friend back. Sky is really something else", Max has heard Lachlan mention how close they were before.
"Jerome's gonna flip out. He'll probably beat us back once we tell him", Ross agrees.
The two fall silent, lost in thought and past memories. Just being home in each other's company is enough.
"Hey Ross?".
"Yeah Max?".
"I really missed you", he folds his arms over his chest. "I never really stopped looking, but there were some days where I thought.... that you really could be-".
"But I'm not. And you're not", Ross interrupts. There's no use in thinking of bad things when this should be a happy occasion.
