"So, if you will follow me, I'll show you where the Ravenclaw common room is," one of the perfects told the first years, Cassia and Dahlia among them. The girls did not see each other until they walked to their dorm, which they were the only girls in, seeing as they were the only Ravenclaw girls. Five boys had been sorted into Ravenclaw, but only two girls.

"Hey, Dahlia!" Cassia chirped.

"Oh, don't hey Dahlia me!" Dahlia exclaimed.

"What do you mean?"

"You've barely talked to me all day! Heck, you didn't even wait for my boat to reach the shore!"
"I didn't know!"

"Yeah, well you sure were okay with leaving your 'best friend' for some guy you just met! How rich of you! And you don't ever mind throwing your money in my face, since you know I don't have much!"

"Look I'm-"

"Forget it! I'm going to bed," Dahlia said, turning out the lights, leaving Cassia to wonder what just happened.

We've never argued before. . . I never knew she felt that way. What made her blow up like that? If she wants me to stop talking to Oliver, I will. She's been my friend since kindergarten. I won't give that up for someone I just met, even if I really want him. These thoughts swarmed Cassia's head until she fell into a deep slumber.

The girls woke at five thirty, and got dressed quietly, each thinking about the previous night. Cassia was the first to speak.

"Look, if Oliver bothers you, I won't talk to him. I'll ignore him. It's not like I need him, he's just a want. Besides, I have you. And as far as my money, I'm sorry, I didn't know I was doing anything wrong. Why didn't you tell me it bothered you?"

"I don't know. . . I guess I just thought you'd get mad."
"Never," Cassia said with a comforting smile.

"Thanks. I really don't like him. I don't know why. I should have told you."

So, the girls walked, arm in arm, to breakfast.

The pair received their schedules the next day. They had every class except Herboloy and Flying together, and Dahlia, for some unkown reason, was requested to attend Magical Creatures, even though it was for Third Years.

Dahlia hated plants. She thought they were boring, but Cassia completely was fascinated with them. Before they had come to Hogwarts, Cassia wanted to be a biologist or a chemist, but Dahlia had always wanted to be a zoologist.

Cassia couldn't wait till her first class!
