Swapping Notes

Jesper's POV

Jesper couldn't keep his eyes off the boy who is currently sitting next to him (no I'm not talking about Kuwei). Wylan kept doodling in his book even when the teacher said to write whats on the board. Wylan looked at the board once, looking at it confusedly and looked back down to his book.

I turned back to mine and jotted the notes down in scrawny writing before tearing a page out. I split it in half. On the first half I wrote, 'leave me the fuck alone' and I put it on Kuwei desk. On the second half I wrote 'hey Mr. mysterious, love to meet up with you again, how'd you like to meet up at the school café?' Jesper put the second note on Wylan's desk just before Kuwei shoves a note back on his. He ignores it and studies Wylan's face but becomes sad and rejected when Wylan stared at the note confusedly then shoved it under his book.

Jesper looked at Kuwei' s response 'but Jes I need to tell you something'. Jesper eye rolls the note and writes a reply. It read 'then write it down not kiss up to me'. Kuwei writes lightning quick with a cheesy smile, wiggling his eyebrow at Jesper when he knew he was watching. Jesper read it 'aww course, anything for you !!!! look Jes I love the shit out of you, and I want you to go out with me. Pretty pretty please with a cherry on top? I promise I'll love you <3' Jesper nearly vomits then and there. He's hesitant to write again but Kuwei is starting to push his buttons. 'no, seriously no. I have a boyfriend' Jesper lies when he wrote that, because he really doesn't.

Kuwei looks at him sadly and writes a reply. 'who?' Jesper freezes. It would be suspicious to say get your smart-ass nose out of other people's business, also Kuwei would prolly dob him in. instead, Jesper writes 'Wylan' he's nervous to hand it to Kuwei though, like if at that immediate point Wylan would gain telepathical powers and read the note. Thinking of Wylan again, he writes another note, one with his phone number. He puts it on Wylan's desk, and this time the cute red head smiles at him with a nod.jesper's heart fills with relief. Maybe he wasn't completely rejected after all.

After class, Jesper waits for Wylan, the red head purposely taking forever to the point where Jesper comes up and helps pick up the books Wylan purposely spilled on the ground. "what's wrong? You're being quiet, you didn't copy down the work, and you practically ignored my first note." Jesper hands Wylan his books back when the red head grows very red and flustered.

"Just leave me alone." Wylan says quickly, tears brimming in his eyes. Wylan bolts out of the classroom leaving Jesper stunned and confused. Was Wylan offended by Jespers note? Why was he acting so weird when Jesper questioned him why he didn't write the stuff down? He'll try to talk to him again tomorrow, but one thing's for sure, he's gotta keep Kuwei away from Wylan so Wylan doesn't find out about the lie Jesper made. Or maybe, he could make the lie a reality, so he's got nothing to worry about!
