Y/L/N= Your last name

*Your POV*

I stood at the scoreboard again, in the exact same spot as yesterday. I made the boys stay back by the teacher's parking lot, so I could talk to Wes alone. I slipped my number in Wes's back pocket yesterday when we kissed, with my name on the small piece of paper. We texted almost all night, and I learned a lot about him that I never expected. He had a YouTube channel, he cosplayed, and was obsessed with the Legend Of Zelda video game series. As soon as I saw him walk onto the field, I smiled, leaning against a pole. "Well look who came crawling back!" I smirked, crossing my arms. "Only because you told me to." Wes replied sassily. "We've only kissed once and you're already becoming like me!" I said, causing Wes to blush red. "What did you need me for?" He asked, his hands in his pockets. "I wanted to know you a little better. Texting nonstop doesn't really cut it for me," I smiled. Wes walked up, and leaned over, so e was in my face, because he was considerably taller (about the same height as Mark). "Well let's go walk and talk." He said, grasping my hand and walking towards the woods nearby. "The woods? But Wes..." I trailed off. "Relax. I'm here. I have something to show you. I came over here and wandered around yesterday, and I found something I think you'll like." He said, tugging me along through the brush. I sighed and followed.

After about ten minutes of walking and small talk, Wes stopped. "Close your eyes." He said. I did as he soda, and he guided me along, hands on my shoulders from behind. "Open." He said. I opened my eyes, and saw a small field, with a single dead oak tree in the middle, and on the right side of it, a cemetery. "How did you find this?" I asked, walking slowly towards the old tree. It was about 40-50 feet tall, and no leaves were on it. ((I can't remember what my foreign readers call U.S. measurement for feet. Bear with me here.)) "Upon closer inspection of the gravestones, I found out this was a graveyard for criminals. They were hanged." Wes said coolly. I turned to look at him. "Is it wrong that I think this is cool?" I asked. Wes laughed, and took my hand in his. "Let's go look around." He said. We walked around the small area, and looked at the weathering, eroded gravestones. "This one has my last name, Y/L/N!" You said. "You could be related. 'Here lies Jarrett Y/L/N, 1671-1693. Convicted of witchcraft." He read from the faded rock. "Like the Salem Witch Trials? That's so cool!" You beamed. "So you're saying it's cool that you have a possible relative that was convicted of being a witch and/or wizard, and it's cool that he's dead?" Wes asked. "This stuff has always interested me. I had to do a report in 7th grade about the witch trials, and I've been interested in it ever since." You admitted. You didn't realize Wes wandered off towards the large oak tree, and started climbing. "Hey, Y/N! Look at me!" He said, sounding like a child trying to get a parent's attention. You turned and saw him sitting on the lowest branch. "I wanna get up there!" You whined. He dropped down about 10 feet, landing on his knees, and rolling on his back. "That hurt." He mumbled, standing up and brushing himself off. Wes helped you up, then climbed up again. "This is so awesome. Thanks for bringing me here." You smiled, leaning your head on his shoulder. "I'm happy you came with me." He said. At that moment, you both felt the need to look at each other, and slowly leaned in, kissing. You didn't care how cliché it was, but sparks flew, fireworks exploded, and butterflies flew around in your stomach. When you and Wes pulled apart, you both smiled shyly. "I love you, Y/N. Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked. "Of course. I love you too." You said, kissing him again. You both stayed in that tree until dusk, and watched the sun sink low in the sky, casting creepy shadows on the graves. You and Wes eventually got down, then Wes carried you back to the school, and drove you back to his house. "Goodnight, Y/N." He whispered, climbing into the bed with you. "I love you too." You said sleepily, pecking Wes on the nose.
