1 year later

~ Jade's P.O.V~

It had been one year since the bloodsucker kidnapped me and Jake hasn't left my side since. I knew he was still blaming himself for what happened. I kept reassuring him that it wasn't. I knew he was still dwelling on it no mater how hard I tried to tell him to forget it and that it was in the past.

Today I was going to go to the orphanage while Jake did some work. I felt bad and wanted to help him but last week I promised Bella I would come back today and I knew I had to keep that promise to her. Luckily Jake understood that I had to go. He was happy that the kids loved me and that they were happy to see me.

I walked to the orphanage and knocked on the door. The door opened and Denise stood there.

" Hello Luna. Welcome back " Denise said with a smile.
" Hey and thanks for having me back " I replied .
" You're always welcomed here " She said.
" Thank you " I smiled.

I walked in and was instantly tackled to the ground by Bella and her friends, who giving me a group hug. I laughed and hugged them back.

" Hey guys " I said with a smile as they got off and I slowly got up.
" Hi JJ! " Bella said happily
" Hey Bella " I greeted.

They got off me and we all walked outside. We played some soccer ( which I sucked at ), we played tag ( which I also sucked at ) and a few more games.

After they all got tired we went inside. I decided to help out so I made them some lunch. I made some tiny turkey and cheese sandwiches and chocolate chip cookies. After we played hide and seek.

I looked at a clock and saw it was
now noon. I had to get back home now.

" Well I got to go " I said sadly.
" Noooo!! " they all cried as they gave me a hug.
" I'll come back guys, don't worry " I promised as I hugged them back.
" Ok " they said sadly.
" Be good for Denise " I added with a smile as I walked out.
" We will " They giggled.

I took my time walking home. I bet Jake was still doing work so why run.

I was currently sitting on my bed watching tv when Belle walk in. I turned it off and turned to her.

" Hey " I greeted her
" Hey, I need to tell you something " She said as she sat down on my bed next to me.
" What's up? " I asked concerned.
" My brother is taking you out on a date and he told me to help you out. Not that you'd need it " She explained.
" When? " I asked with a smile.
" Tonight " She replied and also gave me and smile.
" Ok, let's get ready " I said as I noticed it was five o'clock.

We walked over to my closet and looked around.

" This one? " Belle asked as she held up a dress.
" It's beautiful " I said with a smile.
" Wear these too " She smiled as she held up some shoes
" Perfect " I replied.

She had picked out a light blue cocktail dress with some white heals. I walked into the bathroom and put it on. Then Belle did my makeup and hair. She did a natural makeup look and she curled my hair and left it down.

It was perfect, even though I thought I was going to fall in those shoes but luckily I was ok at walking in heals.

" It's time " Belle said with a smile.

We spent the time we had left to start watching 13 Reasons Why. It was a really good show.

" Thanks for everything " I said as we walked downstairs.
" Anytime " She replied.

I gave her a hug and walked outside. I saw Jake standing in front of a limousine. I walked over to him with a smile on my face.

" Beautiful " Jake said as he gave me a hug.
" You don't look so bad yourself " I laughed as I hugged him back.

He was wearing a tuxedo and his hair was combed back

" Why thank you " He said as he did a little bow and opened the door.
" Thank you " I smiled as i did a little curtsy and I got in.

We both laughed and got in. The inside of the limo was beautiful.

" So where are we going? " I asked.
" You'll see " He replied.
" Secret " I said.
" Yep " Jake smirked.

I rolled my eyes and smiled.

" Don't worry though " Jake said .

" Let's go " Jake said as the limo stopped.

He got out and I followed. I looked around and saw a dinner date set up in the forest lit with lots of fairy lights. It was so beautiful and amazing.

" You like it? " Jake asked as we sat down.
" I love it " I replied with a smile.
" And I love you " Jake said.
" I love you too " I said back.

We ate, talked, laughed and I had a great time. It was amazing. Every aspect of it.

" Let's go " Jake said as he grabbed my hand.
" Where? " I asked.
" There's more " he replied.
" Thank you " I said.
" Anything for you " he smiled.

We walked through the woods. He had strung lights around trees to make a path to wherever we were going. It was beautiful. I saw how much he loved and cared for me, and also how much work he had put into this date. I loved the date and him. We kept walking until I saw a little gazebo. It was lit with fairy lights as well and looked so beautiful.

" Wow " I said with a smile.
" There's more " Jake added nervously.
" You ok? " I asked.
" Yeah " he answered.

We walked and stood in the gazebo. I stood and leaned on the railing while looking at the woods. Then it started snowing and made the place look like a winter wonderland.

" Jade " Jake said from behind me.

I turned around and saw Jake on his knee with a box in his hand. I gasped.

" Jade I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you. I've loved you since the moment I met you and not just because of the mate bond. You are such an amazing and beautiful person so I want to ask you......"

He opened the box and a ring was in it.

" Will you marry me? "

" Yes " I said with a smile.

Jake smiled and got up. Then he took the ring out of the box and slid it on my ring finger. I looked at the ring, it was beautiful. It was a little gold ring with a diamond and it honestly couldn't be perfecter.

" I love you " Jake said.
" I love you too " I said back.

We walked out of the gazebo and into the little winter wonderland. Everything was lined with snow and it looked amazing. It was our own little winter wonderland and it felt like it was just for me and Jake.

" Thank you " I said.
" No need to thank me. I would do anything for you " Jake smiled as he turned to me.

He walked closer and kissed me.

So we stood there kissing as it snowed. Hand in hand, lips on lips, like in one of those cliche love stories. You know, where the girl is in love with the boy and yet you find out the boy loves her back but you know, we're werewolves. So it's different.
