~ Jake's P.O.V ~

Suddenly there was a bang on the door and lots of screaming from outside. My Beta, Zack, bursted into the room.

" Alpha there is an attack. Rouges and members of the Red stone pack " Zack yelled.
" Frick. Zack take Jade and make sure she is safe, if anything happens to her I'm holding you responsible " I ordered as I jumped up and ran off to help fight.

~ Jade's P.O.V ~

" Zack if you touch me your dead " I threatened.
" Luna.... " Zack began
" I'm going to help " I said as I ran outside.

I ran and saw members of our pack fighting about three hundred wolves. We had luckily outnumbered them five hundred-three hundred.

I quickly scanned around and found Jake. He was fighting twenty wolves on his own. It was obvious he couldn't keep it up much longer. I quickly shifted and ran to help. I ran towards them and ripped a few of them off Jake.

" What are you doing here?! " Jake mind linked me.
" Fighting and I'm going to help wether you like it or not " I replied.
" Fine. Let's do this " Jake said.

We both fought and killed the remaining few wolves. Then we both ran off and got all the rest of the pack to kill all of them.

The fight lasted and hour. We won. They surrendered and ran off before we could catch them.

Me and Jake were now walking back to the house.

" Jade I'm going to hold a meeting about what happened, are you coming? " Jake asked
" Yeah " I replied.

" Who was on guard at the western border? " Jake asked.
" Lori and Justin " someone answered.
" Where are they? " Jake asked
" After the fight guards found their bodies at the eastern border. The pack doctor confirmed that they were dead " the man replied back.
" Ok " Jake said. " I want double guards an each border " Jake added
" Yes Alpha " the people responded.
" If the Red Stone pack attacks again we will go for them " Jake growled.
" Yes Alpha " they replied back.
" Meeting over " Jake said as he grabbed my wrist and lead my back to the house.

We walked towards the house and Jake opened the door.

" You ok? " I asked as we entered the house.
" Yeah, you? " Jake asked
" I'm good " I replied.
" You know how dangerous that was Jade? " Jake said
" Yes but I don't care. You could have gotten hurt if I wasn't there " I replied.
" I don't care about my safety, I care about yours! " Jake yelled.
" Well I don't care about mine, I care about yours Jake! " I yelled back.

We stayed silent.

" I'm making food, so you want any? " I asked as I walked into the kitchen.
" What are you making? " Jake asked
" I don't know " I said back " Pancakes? " I asked
" Jade it's 6:00pm " Jake laughed.
" So? " I asked
" Let's eat pancakes! " Jake said with a smile.
" Let's do this " I smiled.

Me and Jake made a bunch of pancakes. We burned the first batch and we found out that we both suck at cooking, but we made a perfect second batch.

" These are so good! " Jake smiled with a mouthful of pancakes.

I laughed at how silly he was being.

" Hey! " Jake yelled.
" What? It's funny " I replied while laughing.

Suddenly Jake threw a piece of his pancake at my face.

" Hey! " I yelled

Jake was laughing hysterically.

" It's not funny! " I yelled.
" Yes.....it........is " Jake stuttered out while laughing.
" Jake " I said.
" What come on, its is and you know it " he smiled.
" Whatever " I mumbled.
" Aww, come on. Don't be mad " Jake smiled.
" Fine but then you can't be made " I smirked as I threw a piece of pancake at him.
" Hey! " he yelled
" What, it's funny " I laughed.
" Ha ha ha " Jake said
" Aww come on Jake. Don't be mad " I said, mimicking his words.
" Fine " Jake smirked.

He walked over and grabbed a bottle of syrup.

" Jake don't!! " I yelled.

Suddenly he poured syrup on me.

" JAKE!!! " I yelled as I grabbed the syrup bottle from him.

I poured syrup on his head as well.

" JADE!!! " he yelled.

We looked at each other and both started laughing hysterically.

" We're so childish " Jake said while laughing
" Yeah we are " I replied back. " But it was funny " I added
" Ya it was " Jake smiled.
