(Natsuki's POV)

I wake up to see Yuri sleeping on my head, I gasp and quickly cover my mouth not wanting to wake her up. I glance around the room, Sayori is snuggled next to Monika, 'How cute' I thought before cutting myself off'What am I thinking? Werewolves and Vampires can't be together!' I felt a pang disappointment. I slowly move away from Yuri's grasp, not wanting to wake her, Suddenly I have this urge to...... Oh no! This is not good! I anxiously get off the couch and walk over to Sayori, kinda panicking. I nudge her to wake her up, she sleepily opens her eyes. "What's up Natsuki?" She asked yawning . "Do you feel weird right now?" I asked tapping my foot, my tail twitching nervously. " Well, actually now that I think about it, I do. " She said " Do you think, it's happening? " Sayori looked confused for a second before gasping. "Omg your right! What do we do?" " We should trap ourselves in blankets, before we do anything... We regret.. " I said glancing at Yuri and Monika, who are now getting up. Sayori jumped off the couch, away from Monika. Monika looked dazed, half asleep. "What's wrong? What's going on?" She asked drowsily. Suddenly Sayori pounced on Monika, who looked utterly confused. She immediately jumped off apologizing. " Quick wrap yourself in some blankets! "I said. Sayori immediately wrapped herself in the nearest blanket. I did the same, a worried expression on my face." What going on guys? " Yuri asked, confused. I took a deep breath "OKAYSOTHISISREALLYEMBARASSINGBUTIMGOINGTOTELLYOUANYWAYSMEANDSAYORIBOTHWOKEUPWITHTHISWEIRDFEELINGWHICHEXPLAINSWHYSAYORIPOUNCEDONMONIKABECAUSESHEISIN..HEAT...ANDIMAFRAIDIAMTOSOUNLESSYOUWANTTOBEPOUNCEDONIADVISEYOUTOSTAYTENFEETAWAYFROMME!" I gasped for air. " Your in heat? What does heat mean- OH-" Monika said suddenly understanding, she gave Sayori a sypathic look.Yuri was speechless, utterly speechless, she had nothing she could say.

(Sayori's POV)

I can't believe I just pounced on her! Why did I do that? Is she mad at me? Did she take it the wrong way? She is giving a ... Sympathetic look? What if she hates me?WHAT IF- "Well, ANYWAYS! Are you guys hungry?" Monika asked still looking kind of worried. My ears drooped. What if she thinks I'm gonna hurt her? What if she doesn't want to be my friend anymore? What if we never see each other again!? WHAT IF-"Hey sayori.. Are you okay?" Monika suddenly asked kneeling next to me. " What? Me? Pfft-! I'm great! Just fine! "I said awkwardly. Monika gave me a look. "Well, your ears say otherwise." She said pointing at my droopy ears. " I'm just a little worried is all.. "I said rubbing my arm." Hey, it wasn't your fault! You didn't mean to! " She said encouragingly. "Are you hungry guys?" Monika asked us. "Yes! I'm starving!" Natsuki replied(literally). "Oh-oh" I said jumping up and down still covered in blankets "I want cookies! Do you have cookies? "I asked looking at Yuri. "No, but I do have some dog food.." Yuri said jokingly . "Does it taste good?" I asked, not getting the joke. Natsuki laughed along with yuri, meanwhile I was genuinely confused. "What are y'all laughing at?" I asked tilting my head. They stopped laughing, wiping away they're tears. " Oh sayori, she was just joking! "Natsuki said, biting back a laugh. Monika giggled as I tilted my head.

TIME SKIP :3

(Monika's POV)

Yuri decided to make some tea for the little burritos. Meanwhile I was keeping Sayori some company. Natsuki was busy talking to Yuri about manga.. Which Yuri seemed the least bit interested in ,until she saw Natsuki talk about it cheerfully. "How are you feeling?" I asked for like, the fifth time. Sayori gave me this look that said' I TOLD YOU LIKE TWO SECONDS AGO-' " Okay, okay" I said quickly " Alright, so do you want to write poems to skip the time? "I asked cheerfully. Sayori nodded, her tail wagging. I get up and all over to grab some papers, pens, and a chair. I sit down next to her as we begin writing,

~Your shine~

~ Blue skys, coral reefs, happy days, you bring to me.

I know it's hard, to hide the truth, but when your happy, I'll be too!

I'll be the shine, on your darkest days, I'll be the light, I'll lead the way.

In the darkness, when no one's there, I will shine!

I'll be your shine, when your all alone, I'll be your shine, I'll lead you back home.

I'll be the friend, I won't be a foe, I will help you when you need it most.

I finished my poem, re-reading it I wonder what it was about, I just randomly jotted something down, so I don't really know where I got the inspiration, Sayori quickly finished here as well. We both traded poems. Sayori read my poem grinning, when she finished she handed it back " That was really good Monika! "She said wagging her tail. I read her poem softly smiling.

~ Sunshine ~

In the day,you wake me up!

you help me see that I'm alright!

I wish that I could be like sunshine, helping me every day.

I wish the sunshine was just for you and me!

but I know others need sunshine, so here you go!

I can give you all I have! I can forget about the past! I will be your sunshine,

if you need me to be.~

I look at the poem in awe, it looks amazing! I give Sayori a thumbs up, smiling happily as she takes the poem back. 'She is so amazing' I thought. She looked at me with her sky blue eyes, her ears up, she is still covered in blankets. Then Yuri walked over to us, gently handing us some tea, Natsuki quickly gulped the tea down, clearly enjoying it." Is my tea that good? "Yuri asked, teasingly. Natsuki blushed and looked up at her, at a loss of words. "W-well, they're not as good as my cupcakes!" She managed to get out. Yuri giggled softly, Natsuki glared at her.

 (Yuri's POV)

I look back at Natsuki knowing she doesn't like to look into my eyes. She quickly looked away, muttering angrily. "Do you want more tea?" I asked , Natsuki wagged her tail. "YES!, I mean sure, why not" Natsuki said nervously. I laughed at this and walked back over to the teapot. After we settled down a bit we decided we wanted to go out somewhere. "Maybe we can go to the park?" Sayori asked. " What about a cafe? "Natsuki asked." Alright how about we go get something to eat from the cafe and then go to the park! " Monika said. "Sounds fine by me." I said. Natsuki nodded in response and Sayori jumped up ready to go, Monika gave her a concerned look, " Don't worry I won't pounce on anyone! "Sayori said quickly. We all got ready and headed out to get food.
