Hanging Out

Felix and Kagami were at the park playing fetch with Argos while talking about each other. Felix is trying his best with social interactions with a person since it's been a long time since he ever talked to people.

"It's a habit of survival. Just like animals trying to survive and not go extinct" Felix explained about his survival habits.

"Incredible, that you managed to survive that long," Kagami said.

"A human child couldn't survive on their own but with my werewolf side, it helped me live," Felix said and Argos brought back the ball.

"Ruff!" He nudged the ball after dropping it.

"Good boy" Felix picks up the ball, "Fetch!" He threw the ball and Argos ran to catch the ball again.

"So what do you do in your free time?" Felix asked.

"Well, I'm supposed to capture you but seeing that you are not evil, perhaps we can be friends," Kagami said.

"What's so important in capturing me, ninja?" Felix asked.

"My mother is literally blind and for years she's been trying to find real monsters that can cure her sight but all have failed. She thinks a werewolf vision will help her but it's never okay to go against their will" Kagami explained.

"That's seriously messed up," Felix said.

"Tell me about it. She wants to see me be married to someone I don't even love" Kagami said.

"Arranged marriage" Felix guessed.

"Yes. Every Japanese boy I come across, none of them is worthy of my heart" Kagami said.

Felix threw the ball again for Argos to go after it, "But you're way too young to get married, Kagami. Why couldn't you tell your mother that you're not ready?"

"She's too stubborn to listen," Kagami said.

"Aren't arranged marriage illegal?" Felix wondered.

"Yes, but not to her," Kagami said.

"No good" Felix replied.

"I never had friends because my mother doesn't want me to waste time on them," Kagami said.

"I've only had my dog as well as my cousin from Paris but now because of this form I can't leave London," Felix said.

Argos came back with the ball, "Good boy, Argos" Felix petted him, "So wanna go sightseeing?" Felix suggested.

"Sure. Just don't give your ears away" Kagami said.

"My canine ears are my weapons" Felix smirked.

"Ah yes," Kagami got up with him.

They go all the way to Crystal Palace park to see the statues of outdated dinosaur models.

"See this, Kagami? When Iguanodon was discovered, they thought they looked like giant iguanas with horns on the nose when it actually was the thumb" Felix showed the outdated Iguanodon statues.

"I see. You seem to know more about animals than anyone" Kagami said.

"Yeah. My cousin is one cat person" Felix said.

"As in Werecat?" Kagami said.

"That yes and he loves cats," Felix said.

"Just like you love dogs," Kagami said.

"Yep. Of course" Felix sat near the statue.

"Hot dogs are all you can eat? Why haven't you tried fruits and vegetables?" Kagami asked.

"Well due to my werewolf cravings, I can't eat fruits and vegetables. I also eat pizza, steak, fish, whatever there are proteins" Felix said.

"I can't believe you are still in great shape. Unbalanced food can cause weight gain you know" Kagami said.

"I guess werewolves burn fat quicker," Felix said.

"And I'm guessing you don't wanna bite anyone because the curse can pass it down to another" Kagami noticed his fangs.

"Exactly. I don't want the curse to continue" Felix said.

"Good. We can't have a population of werewolves in the city" Kagami said.

"Mmhmm" Felix pets his dog, "And that's why regular canines are better than werecreatures"

"Ruff ruff!" Argos barked happily.

"Well, shall we keep walking?" Felix suggested.

"Hai" Kagami nodded.

Unknown to them, Takeshi is spying on them, "Big mistake, Kagami" He said quietly.

Felix felt a tingle like someone was watching him and Kagami. He sniffed a scent but found nothing, "Hmmm strange" He shrugs and walks with Kagami and Argos.

"You all right? It's like your ears are tingling" Kagami said.

"I'm okay" Felix replied and they left the park to get somewhere else.

Felix knew something wasn't right but he didn't want to ruin his day with Kagami. This is his chance to finally get along with a girl.

"London is my home and there are a lot of places that hold memories of the past," Felix said.

"I see and did you go to any school?" Kagami asked.

"Home school. My mother was very overprotective of me when my father supposedly disappeared" Felix explained.

"How strange" Kagami replied.

"I never knew my father. My mother doesn't talk about him that much" Felix walks into the famous London mall, not caring if they don't allow animals in.

"My father divorced my mother," Kagami said.

"Parent issues?" Felix guessed.

"Yeah. He had enough of her stubborn nature" Kagami said.

"So why did you side with your mom?" Felix asked, heading to the famous store in the mall.

"She took me," Kagami said and explores the fashion clothes with him.

"I like this one" He checked a black shirt with a matching vest.

"I wonder how long you've been British" Kagami teased.

"All my life. My dad is an American" Felix said.

"Okay then" Kagami kept looking.

"Sometimes I come here, buying clothes that I need to survive" Felix found a cute peacock-themed shirt.

"I see. Well, this matches the colors of my Ryuko suit" Kagami found a red jacket.

"Nice" Felix kept looking.

After buying their shirts, they head outside and sat on the bench with Argos.

"Well, that was easy to not get thrown out because of my dog," Felix said.

"Maybe they see that your dog is well behaved," Kagami said

"Or that he's my emotional support animal" Felix joked.

"Heh, especially a best animal friend," Kagami said.

"Yup. But I don't know if you and I are friends. We just met" Felix said.

"For now, we are friends," Kagami said.
