Late at night, Felix was in the University taking a shower in the men's bathroom. He couldn't afford a shower without water, so instead, he sneaks into the University College to shower.

"Ahhhh.... yeah" He washed his hair.

His fur grew from his skin and he started to smell like a wet dog, "Oh boy, now I gotta get more shampoo" He looks at himself.

He guessed that his inner werewolf is shedding again, "Not the time now. Gotta finish up" He rinsed his hair as quickly as he can before shutting the shower off. He quickly put his pants on and got outside to shed fur.

But as he was outside on the rooftop, he saw Ryuko, "AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!" He screamed and she screamed at him too.

She looks away, seeing him shirtless for the first time, "Do you mind?!" Felix looks away feeling a bit of fur on his chest shedding a bit.

"I wasn't expecting that" Ryuko blushed.

"Great, now I'm shedding my ass. What the hell do you want?" Felix was still upset.

"First, calm down. Second, what were you doing at University? Taking college school?" Ryuko asked.

"I was taking a shower. I can't afford my own shower" Felix said.

"That explains the wet dog smell but you used strawberry shampoo" Ryuko can smell it.

"Don't call me a wet dog" Felix said and now he has an itch on his wolf ears, "Great, I got a rash"

"Let me help you" Ryuko got behind him and scratched his ears.

"What are you...." Felix felt relaxed and his wolf tail wagged.

"Giving you a massage," Ryuko said.

"Ahhhhh...... thanks" Felix closed his eyes.

"You look happy by your tail wagging" Ryuko laughed a little.

"Um, sometimes my tail has a life of its own" Felix lied.

"Mmhmm. It means you're very happy, wolfie" Ryuko said while scratching his ears.

"Ahhhh.... yes" Felix wagged his tail more.

As soon as he calms down, he nuzzled Ryuko but then stops what he was doing. He never did this until now and he doesn't know why.

"Thanks for the massage" He just replied.

"You want to be petted" Ryuko knows he was holding back.

"Uhhhh..... No thanks," He blushed.

"Are you lying?" Ryuko asked.

"Okay, you got me there" Felix replied defeated.

"When was the last time you've been petted?" Ryuko asked.

"This is the first time ever," Felix said.

"You were very lonely" Ryuko pets him some more. Felix nodded and closed his eyes.

"You mentioned that you were once a human. What exactly happened when you were bitten?" Ryuko asked.

"I'll tell you the whole story, Ryuko," Felix said.

(Flashback)

Young Felix was very joyful and caring to animals like pigeons. He's never known his father but he guessed he either left or died for an unknown reason. His mother was the very sweet woman alive to raise him right. His cousin and he often played with each other like brothers.

As time went by that night, Felix woke up when he hears a scream from his mother. He ran and saw it was a big werewolf attacking her.

"MUM!!!" Felix screamed.

"Felix! Get out of here!" His mother cried out in pain.

"No!" Felix ran at the werewolf, tackling him but he was no match when it bit his arm, "AAAAAGH!!!" He screamed in pain and the werewolf got off snarling.

"Felix!" Amilie gasped seeing her son bitten.

Felix grabs a silver sword and touches the werewolf to burn its skin. The beast roared in pain as he then slashed again.

"FELIX!!!! RUN!!!" His mother screamed one last time before she went motionless.

Felix ran out of the mansion, leaving her and the dead werewolf behind.

(End of flashback)

"And that's how I lost my mother. That beast took away my human life. And so, I live on my own, stealing things to survive, and staying away from people as best as I can. Your kind made me feel miserable" Felix growled in sadness.

"I understand. But you don't have to be alone anymore" Ryuko said.

"You may have understood me but no one else does" Felix licked her cheek.

"We'll see about that," Ryuko said.

"Human and monster don't get along," Felix said.

"Then you might be the first" Ryuko said.

"And how can I trust you that you won't put a silver bracelet up my ass?" Felix asked.

"Want proof?" Ryuko tossed it away.

"Heh, too easy, ninja. But I will believe you. Right now, I gotta go. Meet me at Trafalgar Square tomorrow morning as your real true self. My Dalmatian dog would be happy to know you" Felix said, transforming into a werewolf and heading off into the night.

"Hai, see you tomorrow," Ryuko said.

The next morning, Felix and his dog were at Trafalgar Square waiting for the girl to arrive, "Patient my friend, she'll be here soon" He pets his dog's head.

"Ruff!" Argos begging for a hot dog.

"Sorry, I don't have money for it now but I saved some dog treats for you" Felix fed him some dog treats and Argos accepted them while Felix waited.

He truly did not trust anyone but he really needed a person his age to talk to than just his dog. Soon enough he saw Kagami walking up to him. She was dressed in a preppy school uniform and Felix was very mesmerized by what she really looked like in person.

"Whoa" He could only utter.

"Kon'nichiwa" She greeted him.

"Kon'nichiwa. My, you look lovely than just a feisty ninja but we haven't introduced each other by our real names" Felix said.

"My name's Kagami" Kagami said.

"Felix" Felix said, "And this is Argos, my best friend"

"Nice, he's a really good boy" Kagami petted Argos.

"And like a son to me," Felix said.

"I see. So how did you get him?" Kagami sat next to him.

"I found him on the streets," Felix said.

(Flashback)

Young Felix was looking for leftover scraps in the dumpsters but only found little food, "Oh, man. I'm starving" He held his growling stomach.

He heard a sound of a puppy that sounded very distressed, "Who's there?" He followed the puppy's cries.

As he got closer, he saw a Dalmatian puppy wanting leftover ham but the adult dogs were telling the puppy to back off.

"HRRRRRRGH!" A rottweiler snatched a piece of ham.

Felix did not like this at all, bullying a puppy that wants to eat but the adults are not sharing it, "HEY! LEAVE HIM ALONE!" He shouted at the dogs.

Unfortunately, there were too many dogs but Felix partially transformed into a werewolf to be stronger, "RAAAAAARGH!" He charged towards them.

The adult dogs ran away as he was much bigger than them. As soon as they were gone, Felix slowly transformed back, looking back at the Dalmatian puppy cowering near the trash can. The young werewolf pup simply pushed the eaten ham to the Dalmatian puppy to let him know that he was not a threat to him.

"Come on, it's all yours. I'm your friend" Felix assured him. The puppy hesitantly reached for the ham and ate it.

Felix smiled softly at the puppy, "Hey, we two could stick together" He suggested to the pup.

"Ruff?" The puppy tilts his head.

"How about I call you Argos?" He suggested a name.

"Ruff!" The puppy jumped on him that he has found someone he can trust.

"Good boy. I'm Felix by the way" He petted Argos.

(End of flashback)

"That was so sweet. You do care for sweet animals" Kagami loved his story.

"Yeah, he has lived with me ever since," Felix said.

"And I see you took care of him" Kagami can see that Argos looks very healthy.

"Yeah, through several means," Felix said.
