Chapter 1: Six years passing
"Six years," a man said, "six years since the werwolves invaded our lovely town of New Growler. Ever since our ancestors ran away from Growler due to Werewolf take over they came here to start anew. But when new werewolves started to attack our villagers weren't having it. So then... the great and powerful cat wizard saved us all!"
A calico cat named Winslow jumped off the man's head and landed on all four to which the children sitting around him clapped in amazement. And Winslow didn't mind being pet by some children.
This man was none other than Stampy, and his adopted cat Winslow. And as his entertainment skit ended and the children ran off to their parents, Stampy picked up his cat and thought to himself.
I wonder when Cassie is coming back. Did something happen to her? Is she dead? Was she attacked? But if she's alright I want her to know that Winslow is fine.
He put the cat back in his wagon along with a fish. Stampy closed the door and decided to walk around the town/village of New Growler.
Our ancestors came here because of werewolf take over. We learned from our ancestors mistakes and got through it. Now look at the town, it's almost a city! And Lukas as Mayor? What a great guy, despite the fact that he's the reason my left arm is a little messed up. But if it wasn't for him I never would've gotten so close to Stacy. I guess I can forgive him for that.
But Stacy... she's still gone. I should've done something! I should've called for help, I should've know Lizzie was going to shoot her! That haunts me every night. I can still see the care fading in Stacys eyes so clearly as she died. And I can still see the emptiness in Lizzie's as she shot her.
Stampys thoughts were cut short when he bumped into someone. "Oh sorry! Uh..." He looked around but couldn't find anyone. That is until he looked down, Stampy often forgot how tall he's gotten. Luckily he didn't completely trample the person but he was apologetic anyway. Turns out the person be bumped into was Dawson, one of the newer people who moved in.
"Sorry!" They said in unison.
"No, stop saying sorry! I'm the one who's sorry!" The said together again.
The little fifteen year old was like Stampy in many ways. But both stopped and laughed at their like-mindedness. And Dawson's beagle named Turtle ran around them barking like it was laughing.
Stacy loved dogs... She would probably steal this beagle is she was still alive... Stampy thought.
"Sorry Stampy," Dawson's apologized, "I was trying to set up my little stop here."
Looking down all you could see was some wood and a bunch of nails. Before Stampy could ask what it was for specifically Dawson read his mind. "I want to build a little stand for bait and small fishing equipment. You know for the people who want to go fishing in the south river. But as you can see I'm not that good with building stuff like this, but I'll try! If Turtle would stop stealing the hammer!"
As she said this Turtle picked the hammer up in it's mouth and wagged it's tail, probably thinking it was a stick. "No Turtle... give it back!" Dawson yelled at the dog. It eventually dropped the hammer but Dawson had a look like she was about to give up on her face.
Stampy rolled his eyes and sat down on the ground. "I'll help you Dawson, don't worry! Mr. Stampy Cat is the best builder in all of New Growler! Now hand me that hammer!"

Dan was minding his own business, watching the sheep graze on the grass in the distance. But he was on to side of the famous blue barn that stood out in the town. And next to him was a little grave stone. Dan just looked at the grave stone and as if no one was there (which there wasn't) he spoke to it.
"Hey mom. I know are aren't technically my mom but you feel like it, and it feels right to say. I mean you were the oldest one out of all of us, and you tried to protect us. You took me under your paw and helped to heal me when the church burned down. I wonder how different life would be if you where still alive. Stampy would've probably asked you to marry him," he laughed, "speaking of Stampy, he's fine. His arm is healed for the most part and I can't believe he's thirty-two now! He's almost your age! And me? Well the farm is fine, Wink is a full grown dog now. And my birthday passed a few weeks ago, twenty eight year old Dan! Yep that's me, Dan the Man!"
Dan sighed and sat down next to the tombstone. "Things just aren't the same now that you're gone. And Lizzie too, she was murdered the same day you died. I was going to ask her out on a date too, I know she killed you but I can't deny that I had feelings for her. Like how you had feelings for Stampy, but you're a Werewolf! Anyways, I just wanted to talk to you. There are so many changes happening so fast, I can't keep up!"
So Dan stood up, looked at the stone one last time, and went inside the barn to check on the animals.

Radar never really got involved in all the political stuff and drama. Like he never knew Stacy on a personal level to morn her as much as everyone else. And he never ran for Mayor, but Lukas made him his errand boy anyways.
Same situation with Gabriel. He was confused as to why Ellegaard left for no reason, didn't she see that the village was winning? And where did Magnus go? He just vanished into thin air!
But regardless these two started spending more time together as the years pressed on. They would often get missions from the Mayor to help Axel and the men to make a tunnel in the mountains to get to the plains on the other side. Or they would be asked to help Petra on a hunting exhibition.
These two easily became friends, learning and teaching each other. Gabriel taught Radar how to wield a sword and how to shoot a bow and arrow, something that he learned from Petra. And Radar taught Gabriel how to organize your taxes and some astrology.
Though when Lukas didn't need them they where wandering the town helping people in need. Sometimes watching Stampys performances for the kids.
But when Gabriel and Radar where away Lukas and Petra were planning something big. Something huge. A mining system to be made through the mountain side and go so far down into the Earth's crust you will start to sweat. But they where planning this for the town, not for themselves. A mine so that people could mine up their own materials and maybe keep them from mining in the middle of the woods, where if they get caught Petra could punish them in any way she pleases.
So they wanted a place that would keep people away from the woods and away from any potential werewolf attacks if there were any left.

As the sun was about to set and dusk was spreading over the valley five people where called to Lukas' office. Stampy (who just finished Dawson's fishing stand), Dan, Axel, Olivia, and Jess where all called into his office.
As they all walked in they were greated by Lukas and Petra who stood as a circle table with a map laid down in front of them. The five people stood at the table and looked at the map seeing various 'X's on the map near the mountain areas.
"I'm sorry I had to call you here so late in the day but we have a job for you all." said Lukas.
"We're trying to create a mine that will help people stay away from the forest and boost business. As most of our miners are building the tunnel through the mountains here," Petra pointed to a spot on the map then continued, "We have these five spots we want to check out for the mine to start. Lukas and I already checked these four spots and they don't seem like they're stable for mining, so tomorrow morning we want you guys to check here." Petra moved her finger to the farthest X on the map.
But Axel and Dan already knew that place. Could it be? Yes.
It was marked at the Werewolves old cave...
Note: YAY THE SEQUEL HAS BEGUN! AHHHH!!!! As you may notice this chapter was short. Why? Because my plan is to make chapters a little bit shorter so there can be more of them. These chapters range from 1.5k to 3k+
And say hello to my co-writer EthanBrine
And say thanks to Goldendoodlegamer11 for letting me use her OC (I'm guessing it's an OC) in this story.
