(Ladybug's POV)

I explained everything to Alya in my room, minus the fact that Adrien is Cat Noir. So this time she'll stay hidden and create an illusion of Cat Noir while she does the talking for the illusion.

"It will be my pleasure to keep your kitty safe," Alya said.

"Thank you, Alya. Hopefully, nothing happens to Cat Noir. Shadow Moth can't know his absence. And I know you'll do a great job. While I handle Werecat, make sure the Cat Noir illusion doesn't get touched by him or it will disappear." I said.

"Got it. Trixx, let's pounce!" Alya transformed into her fox-theme heroine, Rena Rouge with the blue color instead of orange.

She then plays her flute tune, "Mirage!" The orange blast light up as the illusion Cat Noir stood there not talking but moves his eyes, "Viola, an illusion of Cat Noir"

"Perfect, now to find the werecat," I said and got out with Rena Rouge and the Cat Noir illusion.

Suddenly a loud yowling was heard, there he was, "This way!" I ran in that direction with them.

Rena Rouge stayed hidden while the illusion Cat Noir and I went to find the real Cat Noir as a Werecat.

"Come out, come out where ever you are kitty!" I called out to him.

"Grrrrrr!!!" I heard a nearby snarling. Me and Illusion Cat Noir turned and saw the real Cat Noir as a werecat again, but this time his suit is ruined by the transformation.

"Calm down. I'm here to help you." I tried to get to his human side.

"Milady, cats are very territorial. I don't think he's in a good mood" Illusion Cat Noir said by Rena Rouge talking through him.

"Not a bit. But you better not upset him, I'll handle him." I said while acting.

The real Cat Noir just kept staring at me, pacing back and forth like a panther without taking his eyes off of me. But then, he growled at me but I haven't even made a threat. He tackled me but did not scratch me, we tumbled together in a roll which startled me.

"Cat, stop! What are you doing?!" I screamed but he wasn't growling at me, he was growling at another werecat.

(Werechat's POV)

I was way too savage to attack this human lady, but her scent was familiar from attacking her. She doesn't seem like a threat I have ever seen the last time we met. But then, I saw something behind her that was about to sneak up to her but there's no way I'm letting some monster attack this innocent lady. I tackled her down to protect her but we tumbled in a roll and I ended up shielding her on the ground.

"Cat, stop! What are you doing?!" She screamed but I just focused on that white beast with blue eyes.

I felt threatened as I extract my claws, ready to fight this creature from trying to harm this lady.

"Milady, back away now!" The man cat yelled at his lady to back away from me.

I howled and charged at the white beast and it became a catfight, "RAAAARH!!!" I tried to strike him with my claws.

I got clawed in the chest but I fought back. The fight got very intense as I got pushed against the building wall by the monster.

"MEOOOOOOWWWWW!!!!" I yowled and punched him hard.

"Stand down!" I felt something wrapped around my waist and it was the lady using a rope from her weapon.

"Milady, don't! This isn't your fight!" That cat man yelled.

"Sorry, but I can't let him down!" Ladybug shouted.

She yanked me and tossed me in the alley. What is she doing? This is my fight, not hers! I ran out of the alley to get her and that cat man away from the monster, something confused me when I saw the beast dissolved into blue mist as it disappeared. Is this some sort of trick to confuse me?

I felt myself turning back again. I gotta hide before anyone sees me again.

(Ladybug's POV)

It was a sentimonster sent by Shadow Moth. I knew he would try something but I never thought he made a white Werecat with blue eyes identical to my kitty. He reminds me of Cat Blanc.

The illusion Cat Noir and I head to the alley and found Adrien back as a human but also his torn leather catsuit shimmering with green flash to heal back due to Plagg being his costume.

"Reality!" The illusion of Cat Noir disappeared as Rena Rouge came out of her hiding place, beyond shock.

"It really is Cat Noir." Rena Rouge said seeing the actual one.

"Ow, my head" Cat Noir stood up.

"My kitty" I helped him up.

"That explains everything." Rena Rouge said.

"But I don't understand why Shadow Moth sent out a sentimonster." I wondered.

"Perhaps to study werecat's strengths and weaknesses?" Rena Rouge guessed.

"What sentimonster?" Cat Noir held onto me for support.

"This time he used a white version of you," I explained.

"What else happened? I can remember a little bit of protecting you but nothing much" He groaned in pain a little due to getting clawed on his chest.

"Well, that's just it. You protected me" I said.

"I am your purr-ince in leather armor, milady" He flirted again.

"How romantic for the cat and bug" Rena Rouge chuckled.

"Prince or not, you have to work hard to make me your princess, kitty" I rolled my eyes, even though Adrien is the one I secretly love.

"I gotta get going. I'm about to transform back" Rena Rouge said and leaped up to the roof and disappeared into the night.

"Kitty, you feeling, okay?" I held him up since he's very weak from the tortured transformation.

"I felt like I got clawed on my chest. I'll be fine. Have you found anything to fix my ring?" He asked with a low groan.

"Nothing yet. I'm trying hard to read these ancient cryptic writings of the cat miraculous." I explained.

"Better take the ring and analyze it." He said.

"Maybe once you're home you can give it," I said.

"But if there are akuma attacks, you know where to find me." He said.

Later, I carried him back to his mansion and he de-transformed, I gasped at the claws mark on his chest. It wasn't severe but it did have dried blood on his torn shirt.

"I better hope these don't turn into bad scars," Adrien said.

I removed his torn shirt and jacket to take a look, "This isn't good, Adrien" I rushed to his bathroom to get a medical kit to heal his chest.

"Ladybug, I'm fine. Really" He assured me but to me, I'm not gonna let him get sick by the infection.

"You're not fine, Adrien. If I don't get that taken care of, you'll get infected" I said as I used alcohol to disinfect the wounds.

(Adrien's POV)

I winced a little from the stinging alcohol but I stayed strong. I had never seen her so overprotective of me, unlike my father.

"Sorry if this stings a bit." Ladybug said while disinfecting my wounds.

"I'll live. Cats have nine lives" I strained.

"Sure they do." Ladybug smiled.

"At least I don't need stitching. My father is gonna be furious that I disobeyed him. He won't let me wander alone at night" I said with a little cat growl.

"He's a difficult man, Adrien. Especially how stubborn he was when Simon Says captured your father. But he just wants you to be safe, that's all." Ladybug finished cleaning the wounds on my chest.

"He barely knows me anymore, milady. He's not the same ever since my mother disappeared. I moved on but he didn't." I looked away with a frown.

"I understand Adrien. Losing the ones close can greatly affect you." Ladybug said.

"My life as a hero became sort of a therapy and with siding with you," I said

"Really? Or is it because you like being a cat hero that changed your life?" Ladybug smirked.

"Maybe. I need extra lives to live my life than being caged by my father" I said.

Soon after she cleaned my wounds, I gave her my damaged rings for her to analyze. Plagg will be staying with me since I need a friend to talk to.

"I'll know where you are, Adrien. In the meantime, don't let your father get suspicious of anything happening to you" Ladybug said.

"Alright Ladybug. Not a word." I said.

The next day, I'm starting to feel a little few changes when I looked in the boy's bathroom mirror. My human canines are becoming pointy, almost like a vampire but I don't have cravings to drink blood. Plagg wasn't kidding when he said about partial changes that happened to his previous holder.

"This is bad, Plagg. I can't smile for my photoshoot like this." I was stressed but I know my father won't agree to my decision.

"If the fangs are seen it gives away, you're the werecat," Plagg said.

I licked my fangs to feel they are sharp and pointy, "Man, this is my worst nightmare. I look like a vampire but I still have my reflection." I looked away from the mirror and headed out. Overall, I look normal but I can't let anyone see my fangs.

Okay, it's just a photoshoot for the ads, that's all. I cannot smile with my teeth. I walked outside of the trailer to head to the photoshoot where the photographs are. I just shyly waved at the crew without smiling with my teeth.

"Are you ready, Adrien?" One of the photographers asked.

"Uh, yeah." I nodded shyly.

"Okay. Lights, Camera, Action!" They turned on the lights.

"Okay, Adrien just give a wave to the camera and a slight smile." The photographer said. I did as I was told but barely opening my mouth.

"Good now show us some teeth." For that, I just slightly opened without revealing my teeth much.

"Sorry I forgot to well...brush them much." I made an excuse.

"No matter, now look into the camera again." The photographer simply shrugs and took another picture of me.

"Excellent. Now turn around and look back at the camera." He told me, so I did.

Please let this be done so I can get home before night comes.

"Okay let's take one last picture, Mr. Agreste." The Photographer said, "Cross your arms and smile at the camera."

I did what he told me but I just smile with my lips closed. Father probably will wonder why I didn't smile with my teeth. I'm just gonna tell him I just got traumatized or may be stressed by the last night's creature.

"Good job Adrien. That's all for today." The Photographer said.

I sighed in relief that it's over and that I can finally get out of here. All this feline instinct like the super smell and sharp hearing is driving me crazy. I hope my eyes don't change anytime soon.

"Fangs is the first stage, your feline eyes is the next. If this keeps up, you'll have to warn Ladybug to fix the ring fast before everyone knows you're the Werecat" Plagg said.

"I'm still maintaining my humanity, Plagg. I'm not going to go savage like some panther or other big cats" I said.

"What about tomorrow? You can't constantly wear sunglasses." Plagg said.

"That's gonna be tough. But I think some won't suspect it." I said.

"We'll see," Plagg replied.
