(Adrien's POV)

Here I am at school, trying to control my feline behavior before anyone suspects me. Plagg stayed hidden in my jacket while I just play it casual. Ladybug knows my identity but I don't know hers. My ring is slightly damaged but I can transform into my alter-ego.

"Utterly ridiculous! A cat creature last night is so utterly ridiculous! Cat Noir is no match for that cat! I bet he's afraid to get clawed!" Chloe hasn't changed at all, especially during our break-up friendship when she got akumatized as Queen Banana just because she wants a movie about herself instead of working as a team.

All because her half-sister got the main part. I walked past her, having enough of her nonsense.

"Hey Adrien, you heard the news of a cat creature last night?" Nino came to me.

"I saw. Impersonating Cat Noir." I said.

"I wish but it seems that Paris has a real Werecat. An akumatized victim?" Nino guessed.

"Not that I know of. Werecats don't even exist until now. And I thought werewolves and vampires are popular than werecats" I said, hiding the truth that I'm the Werecat.

"There are many were-creatures. Like weretigers but they are transformed through rituals or dark magic." Nino said.

"I heard but it's not always popular, Nino. Mostly everyone thinks werewolves are popular. Especially in movies." We head outside since school is over.

"Ladybug and Cat Noir will catch that creature. The news did say that this cat is only interested in fish, not people" Nino said.

"That's good news," I said, knowing that I did not attack anyone last night.

"He better not drink all milk in the superstores." He joked.

"I think he might. Cats like milk, fish, birds, and mice." I laughed.

"Cat Noir will surely challenge that cat creature. Like a catfight" Nino said.

I haven't thought of that. If Shadow Moth gets suspicious of my absence, he'll surely know my secret identity from my Werecat transformation. I gotta tell Ladybug to bring Rena Rouge to create an illusion of Cat Noir.

"If he can. Anyways, I'll see you later. Whatever you do, stay safe at home if that creature comes back tonight" I said, getting in my bodyguard's car.

"Got it, Adrien." Nino waved goodbye.

(Marinette's POV)

Since I know Cat Noir is Adrien, I cannot let Shadow Moth know. I can't tell Alya that too but she is good at knowing how to keep a secret but she knows I have a secret crush on Adrien.

"Marinette. I feel a tingling in me. It's Cat Noir calling" Tiki said.

"Smart thinking, Adrien. He cannot use his phone or the messages will get discovered. Tiki spots on!" I transformed into Ladybug and unlocked my phone bug to see the message he sent me. Such a dream come true to know two boys in one. Agh! Stay focus!

"Meet me at the Eiffel Tower. There's something I have to tell you" I read his message.

I replied by typing "I'll be there."

I head up to my balcony and swung my yo-yo to get from building to building to head up to the Eiffel tower. Adrien was at the top of the tower waiting for me.

It's so hard to call him by his name and alter-ego since he's both.

"Hello. I mean, nice of you to show up, milady" He said, keeping himself in character with his alter-ego.

"How charming of you, kitty. So what's the sudden call for?" I asked, sitting next to him.

"I've been thinking. If I turn into that creature again, Shadow moth might get suspicious if Cat Noir is not there with you. I was thinking if Rena Rouge can make an illusion of me" He explained.

"Well, the thing is...." I have to tell him the truth, "Rena Rouge cannot be seen in public anymore. Not after that Shadow Moth found out about her secret identity. But I can talk to her about it but she cannot be seen." I explained to him.

"Milady, you already know my identity but I don't know yours. Shadow Moth is growing stronger whenever he akumatizes his victims or creates a senti-monster. I'm worried he'll know who I am. Or worse, being replaced" He looked depressed and stares down at the city.

"I can never replace you, kitty. No one is like you, Cat Noir. We've been heroes for 2 years. You are the reason that kept us stronger. Without you I'm not myself as Ladybug" I said.

"Really, Milady? It seems I have been purrrfectly your sidekick for a long time" There he goes with his cat puns again but this time I didn't scold him.

"Yes. But I'm worried if the plan does not work, you'll be lost in your werecat form." I said.

"You never fail at anything, milady. You are miraculous after all. But...I still can't remember anything as a werecat. You do smell like strawberries; this beast might remember your scent. Rena Rouge is our only hope. She's the best illusion master" Cat Noir said and saw the sun setting, "Think about it. I'm gonna transform again at 9pm. I know you'll find answers to fix my ring. You are the guardian" He kissed my cheek and jumped down from the tower and pole vault from building to building with his baton.

(Adrien's POV)

Hopefully, she'll take my advice. I already know who Rena Rouge is ever since Nino told me his secrets about being Carapace and Alya as Rena Rouge.

But like Ladybug said, Alya, can't come out as Rena Rouge and has to be hidden to use the illusions.

"Claws in" I de-transformed and heard a knock on my door, it's gotta be my father.

"Adrien you in there?" He asked.

"I'm here Father," I replied.

Plagg hid in my jacket and my father comes in, "I saw the news of last night's creature attack. It's not safe for you to wonder in public until that creature is captured. Do you understand?" He strictly ordered me like I'm some robot to him.

"Father, it didn't attack anyone. I'm not a helpless child anymore." I said but he forced me to take his word.

"You are forbidden to leave the house every night. Do you understand?" He asked again.

"Yes, father. I understand" I said with a frown.

"It's just for your own good." He said before leaving.

"I know. Sheesh." I turned around once father was out of sight.

My anger triggered my feline claws a little. Whoa! I gotta get my anger in control. I can't let anyone see my partial feline features on my body.

"Adrien please calm down," Plagg begged.

"Sorry" I breathe in and out to calm down as my claws shrink to fingernails, "My father is so stubborn. How is he not worried about me? What kind of father is he?" I paced back and forth from the stress and frustration.

"Well, he did say it was for your own good," Plagg said.

"Don't forget, he never has time for me while I'm Adrien," I said.

I walked to the window looking at the moon, it's still long until I transform again.

"I don't like this, Plagg. My father is extremely arrogant than caring about how I feel. He can't protect me what hurts the most and that is my mentality and isolation" I said, still early to transform since it's 6:30 pm.

"Your time with Ladybug keeps you sane," Plagg said.

"And my school friends too. Especially you, Plagg. I gotta become Cat Noir right now. I don't like being told what my father tells me to do. I'm not a helpless child anymore. Plagg claws out!" I transformed into Cat Noir and jumped out the window to feel the need for freedom.

But first, I need to eat fish to satisfy my hunger. I don't like stealing but I have no choice or I'll lose my mind and attack people. I really don't want that on my conscience. I got near a market and snatched some fish from above. At least it won't hurt my stomach, even if it's not cooked. I went to the rooftop again to eat it. I even purred in delight from eating my meal. I hate this Werecat curse and I do not like it at all. I prefer being human.

Once finished, I threw away the fish bones.

"Okay, I gotta head back. Wait, no! My transformation should be somewhere else. The alley." I hop down and hide in the alley since I can feel the pain in my chest which means I'm gonna turn again, it's now 9 pm. God, it really hurts!

I gotta stay as Cat Noir so that no one suspects me I'm the Werecat when I turn back to human. I hope I can remember as a Werecat. Please be okay, milady!

I felt my body transform, my gloves bursting revealing my real cat claws, my leather ears fell off in place of my actual cat ears. The suit got torn in many places but my pants and the top of my torso remained looking like a vest.
