"Larry! is that you?" Sal ask getting up.

"here little pup." a familiar voice growled. Sal's head snapped up. it was the white wolf and it was after the pup. like it or not, Sal couldn't let that happen.

"piss off!" Sal shouted. he grunted as the wolf swatted him out of the way. he shook off the pain in his head and got up. the wolf smirked at him.

"it's been a while. you were supposed to be my dinner." the wolf growled walking towards him.

"I'm not afraid of you." Sal replied, standing his ground. the wolf seemed confused as to where this dominate type behavior was coming from, but growled and inched towards him. the pup ran over biting the larger wolf. he was flung aside and whimpered softly. "hey! don't touch him!" Sal growled.

"what are you going to do about it?" the white wolf ask. Sal growled transforming. "Omega!" the wolf hissed shocked. the fur on Sals back stood on end and his sharp teeth were bared. where had these suddenly overly protective instincts come from? must've been from him hitting the pup.

"yeah and thats my pup!" Sal growled jumping on him. Larry came trotting back after about thirty minutes. he paused, shocked to see all the blood in the area. he prayed Sal hadn't done what he feared. he looked down when the pup coward to him, hiding under Larry. he was in one piece, even if he looked hurt and was terrified. so, thankfully, Sal hadn't killed the pup.

"so you're in once piece. its not you." Larry muttered, nuzzling the pup gently. "Sal!" Larry shouted. Sal stumbled out from behind some nearby tree's. "I thought you weren't doing the whole wolf thing tonight? what are you doing? why are you covered in blood?" Larry ask.

"he attacked. I had to." Sal muttered, slowly laying down. Larry was confused, so he walked to where Sal came from. the white wolf was unmoving. there was blood and fur everywhere. Larry wasn't sure how much of the blood was Sals or how much was the other wolfs.

"he attacked you?" Larry ask.

"he attacked us." Sal muttered. Larry turned around. the pup had cuddled himself to Sal's side.

"right." Larry replied. he nudged the pup out of the way. "come on. lets get you to the water." Larry said, scooping Sal up onto his back. Sal whines softly. the pup coward walking under Larry. Larry cleaned Sal up in the lake. "you can't make this trip to Buck." Larry said.

"he stays. take us home." Sal muttered, transforming. Larry grinned.

"you mean it? we can keep him?" Larry ask. Sal nods slightly. Larry got the pup up on to his back with Sal and carried them off.

Sal groaned laying on the couch. he was covered in scratches and bruises. there were even bite like marks. Sal was beat to hell. Larry and Lisa worked quickly to help him. he was bleeding everywhere. moaning in pain with with every touch.

"he needs a doctor Larry." Lisa said.

"no mom he's fine. he'll heal in a few hours. we just need to stop the bleeding." Larry replied. Sal whines softly. the pup, laid behind the couch waiting. it took them nearly an hour to stop all the bleeding, but Sal finally stopped bleeding and curled up to sleep.

"you need to name him." Lisa said. Larry looked up as the pup wondered over to him, nuzzling against his leg.

"I know." Larry replied, petting him gently.

"he doesn't have a human form right?" Lisa ask.

"not that we've seen." Larry replied.

"what are you going to call him?" Lisa ask.

"I'm not sure." Larry said. the pup climbed up onto the couch and cuddled to Sal happily. Larry pet the pup and sat down. "I want to take him to see Buck first. you know, find out if he has a human form if he does, we need a good name to match that." Larry said. the pup jumped from the couch curling up in Larry's lap and nuzzling him.

"awe thats cute." Lisa chuckled, kneeling to pet him.

"keep an eye on Sal, I'm taking him to see Buck." Larry said. Lisa nods at him and watched him get up.

"be safe." Lisa replied. Larry nods slightly taking off.

"is he gone?" Sal muttered, opening his eye's.

"uh, yeah he's gone. you okay?" Lisa ask, looking confused.

"his name is Jimmy and he's staying with us." Sal replied.

"Jimmy?" Lisa ask. Sal nods.

"Larry can pick his middle name but his name is Jimmy." Sal replied.

"thats what all his fathers friends would call Jim." Lisa said quietly.

"I know, but I couldn't call him Jim Jr. I hate the Jr part and I wanted him to have his own name." Sal said.

"why didn't you tell Larry?" Lisa ask.

"it's a surprise." Sal replied. Lisa looked confused and Sal shrugged slightly wincing in pain.

"are you alright?" Lisa ask. Sal nods slightly. "so, what happened Sal?" Lisa ask, sitting in a chair.

"well, he was attacked. I saw red. when I came back to my senses, the white one was dead and Larry was shouting for me." Sal sighed. Lisa nods at him.

"its alright Sal. are you hungry?" Lisa ask.

"yeah a little." Sal mutters. Lisa nods and gets up.

"I'll cook something for you." Lisa murmurs. Sal groans softly in pain.

"everything fucking hurts." Sal muttered.

"Larry says you'll heal in a few hours." Lisa assures him.

"I know. but it still hurts." Sal replied, rubbing his side. Lisa fed him and smiled slightly as Sal curled up on the couch, falling asleep.

Sal felt something cuddling against him. he groaned softly, assuming it was Larry, but it was fluffy and he recognized it was his pup.

"he's got a human form." Larry murmured.

"does he?" Sal ask quietly.

"mmmhmmm." Larry hummed.

"is it cute?" Sal ask.

"sure is." Larry replied.

"his name is Jimmy." Sal stated.

"wait... what? you named him? without me?" Larry ask, slightly hurt.

"he's had a name since he was born. you just didn't ask." Sal replied. Larry scold at him.

"so you had him and named him while I was at school?" Larry ask.

"yup." Sal replied. "his eye's are green like your dads, so his name is Jimmy." Sal added, pulling the pup closer to him. "where's your mom?" Sal ask.

"in bed. it's like 2 AM." Larry replied. Sal nods and curls up on the couch more. Larry laid behind him and pulled him close. "we'll just sleep here tonight." Larry chuckles. they all fell asleep for a while longer. Sal groaned lowly, something didn't feel right. he felt arms around his waist and knew it was Larry behind. he reached out slightly, but the pup was gone. his eye's snapped open instantly. he sat up and looked around.

"pup?" Sal ask. he rubbed his eye's and looked around. his sharper ears, because of being part wolf, caught a soft sound in the kitchen. he got up and headed towards the kitchen. to his utter surprise, Lisa was standing in the kitchen, holding something. "Lisa?" Sal muttered. she turned around and smiled at Sal.

"you two didn't seem to here him crying." Lisa chuckled softly. Sal rubbed his eye's.

"oh. I'm sorry." Sal muttered walking over to her. he reached for the baby cuddled in her arms. "could've shook us awake. he's not your responsibility." Sal said.

"oh, I know, but it has been a long time." Lisa smiled looking down at the baby. she shook her head, a look of sorrow crossing her face as she passed the baby over to Sal.

"you look sad." Sal muttered. she nods.

"Larry almost had a sister, she didn't make it though." Lisa sighed.

"oh, I'm sorry. Larry never said anything." Sal said, looking over at the couch.

"he didn't know." Lisa replied. Sal shook his head and handed her the baby back.

"I have no problems if you want to keep him tonight." Sal said. Lisa smiled at him and cuddled the baby. "also, can you keep him so I can go to school tomorrow?" Sal ask.

"of course." Lisa replied with a grin. Sal nods slightly and head back to the couch to curl up with Larry. Lisa smiled at him slightly and cuddled the baby. she took him to her bedroom and laid with the child.

Larry woke up and yawned, Sal was curled up to his chest snoring.

"where's the pup?" Larry said. he got up and looked around. he walked to his moms room, but she wasn't there, the pup was sleeping on her bed and he relaxed. he smiled slightly and pet the pups head gently.

"he stayed with me last night. you two didn't seem to hear him cry." Lisa chuckled softly. "you have to feed him occasionally. he gets hungry too." Lisa added.

"oh shit, I didn't realize Sal didn't feed him." Larry replied.

"he's yours too." Sal grumbled from the couch. Larry looked over at him and walked over.

"hey I thought you were asleep." Larry murmured.

"I was." Sal replied, stretching. he curled back up and yawned softly.

"we have school. you need to get up." Larry said.

"no. I'm in pain. I'm staying here." Sal muttered, curling back up.

"he should probably stay here for a few days with the pup anyway." Lisa said.
