It was the day of the play. I was prepared, or so I thought. Seeing Lafayette in the different dresses, it made my little heart a flutter for some weird reason. He even had his hair done for every outfit he had.
It came down to the wedding scene. The stage was dark, and Lafayette and I quickly changed costumes as the music started up. Then the lights turned back on, and my god. His eyes, sparkling in the spotlight. His smile, which could light up the room on its own.

5 seconds....

It saddens me to know that it can only be like this for another 25 seconds. Not long at all. But, it feels like eternity, which made it much much better.

10 seconds...

I could've sworn that he got closer, but I could be wrong. It may just be in my head.

15 seconds...

Is it wrong to say that I want him? He's so, ugh. There's not enough words in the Universe that can sum up how much I want him. And I don't even know him all too well.

20 seconds.....

While I was all in my thoughts, I didn't realize how close he'd gotten. I felt my face go red and then....

His lips on mine.

25 seconds....

I savored that kiss as long as I could. He didn't have to, but he did. He tasted like a warm autumns eve, drinking warm cider by the fireplace. It was wonderful, comfortable, amazing.
It felt like there were flames dancing in between our lips. Like a hunger, a yearning. I would've pulled him closer if I could.

30 seconds.....

We had to pull away. I didn't want to, but we had to. We weren't given much of a choice. His eyes, sparkling in the light, held love, lust, and sorrow, I could feel it. And I'm sure that my eyes held the same emotions.

Ask and ye shall receive! I personally really like this chapter, since this is when they really start getting together.

But don't fret! There's a LOT more Mullette. And it's not all cutesy either. ;)
