She saw them panting and hurting as they wiped their faces. "This guy's outta his mind." Guy with silver-gray hair said. The other guy agreed. "Bwah, L-Let get outta here!" Guy with pink-reddish hair said panicked.

Deuce looked at him glaring at them. "Next time you eat an egg, you better apologize a hundred times, you buncha chumps!" He yelled at them. She looked at him. "Deep breath." She said. Grim have a surprise face. "Whoooooa....."

Deuce panting heavily when he realizes what he did as he relaxed him. "Urk!" He said surprised as well. We all saw him normal again. "What's wrong?" Grim said. Deuce sigh heavily. "I did it again, didn't i.....? ARGH! I was dead-set on becoming an honor student this time,too!" He said.

We looked at him confused. "Huh?" Grim said. She crossed her arms on her chest. "What do you mean?" She said. He sigh again as he opens his mouth.

"When I was in middle school, I was pretty wild. I cut school all the time and got in fights, I called my teachers name, hung out with bullies, bleached my hair, I tore around tight curves on my blastcycle. I'd show off my magic to kids who couldn't use it yet.....I was a total punk." He said annoyed towards the end.

We looked at him. "So you were only a little more annoying than you are now?" He asked him. She looks at him. "Grim!" She said but she looks at deuce. "But, I do have a hard time seeing that as well." She said.

Deuce nodded his head as well he took a deep breath in as he took a deep breath out looking at them both as he told them about what he did.

"But one night, I saw my mom talking on the phone to my grandma. She was trying to hide from me, but I saw her and I could tell she was in tears." He said as he continues. She was saying how she must have been a horrible mom, and that maybe she never should have tried to raise me by herself. That had nothin' to do with it! She hadn't done anything wrong it was all me. When the carriage came to take me to Night Raven College, she was so happy for me. I decided then and there that this time, I wouldn't do anything to make her cry. This time, I'd become an honor student—someone she could be proud of and I already messed it all up!"

We both look at each other than at deuce. "I mean, did ya, though? Is putting up with jerks what honor student do?" Grim said. She nods her head at him. "Huh?" Deuce said surprised.

"Even I, grim the magnanimous, was ready to pound those losers into tuna pasta." He said. She nods her head again. "He is right, those jerks started when we were in lunch. So, they hid to get revenge from the eggs that when I was going to snap at them that block me and just snap at them." She said.

She takes his hand. "Deuce what you did was protecting us and you were defending us as well, if you get called to the office we'll defend you and make sure the other two get in trouble." She said.

She saw his eyes shining when he looked away from her. "Thanks, supervised Aoi and grim." He said. We both smiled at him as he smiled as well. "Heh heh! I just hope those chicks can rest in peace." He said.

She looked at the eggs than at him. "Those eggs weren't the type to hatch." She said. He had a surprise and shocked face. "Wha—WHAAAAAT?! Are you kidding me?!" We all laughed.

~In The Kitchen~

We made back to the kitchen as the other three's saw us. "Ah, you're finally back! Took ya long enough." Ace said. Trey nodded his head. "Let's get this tart-y started!" He said. We all nodded our heads as we followed the instructions that trey show us when we made the homemade tart's.
