Opinion: So Ace Attorney is an anime that I began watching recently and I love it to pieces. So I decided to rate a ship from it. I love this ship as a guilty pleasure. Miles and Phoenix are such good friends and I love their relationship. Especially the fact that Miles only really lets his cold demeanor drop around Phoenix. At first I didn't like this ship much at all. Miles just seemed so cocky and arrogant and I just did not like him as a character. But then when we find out what happened to him in his past it made me feel for him as a character. Plus Miles stood up for Phoenix when they were kids and that's what made them best friends. I absolutely love the episode that shows them as young children especially the scene where Miles is crying about leaving his best friends behind after he's forced to move. I know that their jobs force them to be on opposite sides of the courtroom but you can't deny how strong their bond as friends are. If they were a couple I can see Phoenix working hard to break Miles out of his shell and Miles helping Phoenix to become a better attorney. However despite me shipping this I don't see it becoming canon. Neither of them seem gay or bisexual to me. But hey you never know. Show wise this is my first choice for Miles and my second choice for Phoenix. Fanon wise there's an OC I ship with Miles.
