Origin: Velvet is a rabbit Faunus. Yatsuhashi has a giant sword that can probably split a lot of things. This ship is a rabbit pun on the term "splitting hairs"

Opinion: I'm back after a brief hiatus of this book. Also I know I said I was going to try and be less vague on these opinions but with this ship and a few others I've been asked to do that's gonna be kinda difficult. Bear with me. I feel the same way about this ship that I do about Shades and Blades. It's cute but it needs more screen time. The only real instances of this ship is toward the end of volume 2 when team CFVY returns from their mission Velvet said that Yatsuhashi kept an eye on her and kept her safe, and in the volume finale Yatsuhashi put his arm up to shield Velvet from getting impaled by spikes. He obviously cares for her and I headcanon that he is probably the one Velvet goes to for comfort after she's bullied by team CRDL. I also think that they're partners and this shows because they work so well together. Also their height difference is hilarious.
