Ship Name Origin: Eda is known as "the owl lady," has an owl palisman, lives in the owl house and overall just has a bunch of ties to birds. Raine is a bard witch and plays music, sometimes with Eda. Also Darius referred to the two of them as "clever little songbirds."

Opinion: I decided to rate this ship since it's been one year since the introduction of Raine and by extension the ship. So, much like Lumity, I love this ship to pieces!! Honestly some days I think I like it even more then Lumity. This is mostly due to Raine being my favorite character in the show but I digress. Raine and Eda have such a cute relationship, from the day they met they had a special bond. They aced every test of the HECK seminar and even fought together against Terra Snapdragon. Then of course Raine transferred to Hexside and the two grew even closer. Eda even says that the two of them "were inseparable" which leads to them dating as young adults. Now of course Raine is yet another victim of Eda pushing away people she cares about so they aren't hurt by her owl beast curse. But when they do meet up again as older adults it's as if nothing has changed and that's what I love about this ship. Eda and Raine love each other so much that they can almost pick up where they left off. Raine even created their rebellion because they were inspired by Eda. Just every scene with them is beautiful and amazing. Even the tragic ones that tug on your heartstrings. I also didn't realize this until recently but in all the flashback scenes with them as young adults and during the rebellion scenes of the Eda's Requiem episode, we see Eda with her hair in a ponytail instead of down and messy. She tries to make herself look even more beautiful when she's around Raine. There's also so many parallels to Lumity with the two of them but that's an entirely different post. Now of course we aren't sure about Raine's fate as they were being drained of their magic when we last saw them, but I'm almost certain they're still alive. And I'd even be willing to bet that this ship will become canon once again. I was also hoping for a Raeda kiss in season 2 but eh I can be patient. Plus I'm happy with the kiss we did get.
