Origin: A midnight sun (also known as a solar eclipse) is when the moon covers the sun leaving a big black circle and a golden ring. Raven's signature color is black and Tai's is gold.

Opinion: So of course I ship this. This is one of the only RWBY ships that was canon. Sure the two of them are divorced but I still think they love each other. When Tai was talking about Raven to Yang he didn't look angry he looked almost happy. He never described Raven as a bad person he said that she was troubled yes but also loyal to anyone she trusts. He also says that he's happy that he sees bits of Raven in Yang so that means that he doesn't resent her. Sure he's probably upset she left but I don't think he hates her. From Raven's perspective she hasn't mentioned how she feels about Tai but I'm certain she still loves him. Now we aren't certain why Raven left but I'm assuming it's because she was scared of someone or something, maybe Salem who knows. The one thing I do hope though is that we have more moments with these two. We know Raven used her portal to go to Tai but for all we know she could've just appeared then ran off. I'm hoping not though. I'm hoping she stays. I feel like if she did then maybe her and Tai and reconcile and he can help Raven to see that she doesn't have to run and hide all the time.
