Opinion: First of all I decided to wait a couple days for everyone to see the new episode before I posted my opinion because I didn't wanna give spoilers. But to be honest YouTube has kinda done the spoiling already XD. Oh well.

So how do I feel about this ship? Well...I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! It's just so perfect and sweet and pure and just...I can't even describe it. I do have to thank AlphaWolf0215 though for getting me into this ship via her Lumity one shot book, before then I really wasn't sure who I shipped Luz with, I mean besides Willow a tiny bit. When I started to read her one shots though I began to really love this ship. It's a perfect example of enemies to lovers, but it's an enemies to lovers ship that I actually like. Ironically as much as I love this ship it comes from a trope that I don't actually like all that much. Except for a few rare occurrences. Anyway Amity herself has been an interesting character from her introduction until now. It's obvious at first that she was that standard "mean girl" character but throughout the episodes we began to see what was really hidden under that rough exterior. A sweet girl who has grown up in a household that expects her to be perfect and anything less than that is wrong. And most of that character growth she got was thanks to Luz. Before the most recent episode (as of me typing this its Enchanted Grom Fright) there were subtle hints of Amity liking Luz, mostly just blushing whenever the human girl would talk to her or getting flustered after a hug or a compliment. But now of course it is confirmed that Amity has a crush on Luz, because as we saw in this episode she wanted to ask her out to the Grom Dance but was too afraid of rejection. Luz of course didn't know who Amity wanted to ask and offered to take her so her friend wouldn't be upset. And then they had that absolutely GORGEOUS dance together. Unfortunately though Luz appears to only see their bond as platonic so this ship does seem to be one sided. But I'm sure that will eventually change, the creators of the show really seem to be hinting that this ship will be canon at some point.

So to reiterate while this ship at the moment appears one side on Amity's part I still love it so much and it's my OTP for The Owl House.
