Opinion: I will admit I used to hate this ship. I thought it was so stupid that the creators of the show were adding in a love rival for Marinette (and Adrien). However now that I've seen Luka in the show this ship is growing on me. First of all I really like Luka as a character. He's so calm and collected and I love how he played music for Marinette that he said reflected her heart. Even though Marinette completely twisted her words around him, as she often does, I like how Luka was able to joke around with her about it. Plus when Ladybug saved him and the others from Captain Hardrock and told them that Marinette had told her where they were he even said that Marinette was amazing. I know Luka is a bit older then Marinette is but I don't think its such a huge age gap that it would be a problem. I headcanon Luka as 16 meaning he's two years older then Marinette. Plus I like ships that have a small age gap. I know this ship probably won't become canon or if it does it won't last for long but it's tied as my first ship for both of them. I just hope Luka comes back soon in the show.
