Opinion: This ship is pretty hard to rate in my opinion since it has so many different iterations. I would never call this relationship "healthy" but there are some versions where the Joker and Harley genuinely care for each other in their own twisted way. And of course there are some versions where the Joker is abusive to Harley. Obviously, those versions I don't ship.

So I'll rate the version I'm the most familiar with. That's the 2019 Harley Quinn cartoon that's running on HBO. In this version Harley and Joker have a pretty negative relationship. Romantically anyway. The Joker has betrayed Harley numerous times and put her down, acting as if she is nothing without him. Harley, with help from Poison Ivy, is able to realize what a jerk he is and comes into her own as a villain. Of course in season 2 the Joker has his memory wiped and starts a relationship with a woman named Bethany and they have a sweet, albeit weird, relationship. And Harley ends up with Ivy. But the Joker helps Harley with asking out Ivy and he seems happy with their relationship. So it seems the two can be good friends despite their past and I'm glad about that.

So yeah, 2019 Harley Quinn cartoon I ship them platonically not romantically. All the other iterations, as long as Joker isn't abusive, then yes I ship it romantically. I love a good villain ship what can I say. I think it's cute that they're just this utterly chaotic duo. Kinda reminds me of a crazier Gelato. Maybe that's why I like it so much who knows.
