Opinion: Ok so I haven't finished the Harry Potter books nor seen all the movies so I had to pull in some outside help for this ship opinion. I asked a friend of mine who likes Harry Potter what they think of this ship. She told me that she finds it cute but that it wouldn't work simply because these two are so close in personality. Which I can see I suppose. But in the earlier movies Harry and Hermione hugged multiple times and Harry was the first one who was told when Hermione had been petrified. Which is a contrast to Ron who teased her and shook her hand instead of hug her. I know they get closer in the later books/movies and of course are married but I don't know it just seemed odd that they were the ones who got together. Anyway I think Harry and Hermione are cute and I would've  been ok if they ended up being canon.
