Opinion: Ok so this is actually an interesting circumstance because my opinion for this ship changed while I was researching stuff for it. So first my initial opinion was that I thought this ship was adorable much like Mickey and Minnie's relationship. I mean c'mon it's Disney most canon couples have sweet and innocent relationships. And much like Mickey and Minnie, Donald and Daisy have lots of merchandise and instances in tv and stage shows and movies depicting them together as a couple. So yeah I was quite satisfied with my analysis. Until....I began watching some YouTube videos reviewing recent episodes of the DuckTales reboot series on Disney XD (quality show by the way, highly recommend) and it was then that I realized something many Disney fans have known for a long time. This ship isn't cutesy and sweet, it's abusive as frick. Think about it, the two of them fight all the time, usually Donald yells and Daisy will either yell back or heck even hit him. And many times you can see that they are very unhappy together. Donald has anger issues and Daisy is a sassy brat. That's not a good romantic relationship heck not even a good friendship. So yeah I really don't like their relationship in previous incarnations of it because it's just sad to watch them yell and fight and all around hate each other.

But now we get to the aforementioned DuckTales reboot where once again we are faced with a relationship between these two. And..oh my gosh is it sweet! Yeah they still have some of the same characteristics of their previous incarnations but this time it doesn't lead to them hating each other. The first episode with these two is actually the first time they meet and they end up getting stuck in an elevator together. Yes Daisy is angry at the circumstance because this means she will be late meeting her boss who already treats her poorly and never listens to her but this is where things are different. Where past Donald and Daisy may have fought Donald instead tells Daisy that he knows how she feels, as nobody can understand him due to how his voice sounds. But Daisy tells him she can understand him perfectly, which leads to Donald singing to her. Yeah it's corny but I love it. Oh and at the end Donald stands up to Daisy's abusive boss and tells her what a great fashion designer Daisy is.

Their second episode together, which is why the picture above is from, is all about their first, technically second, date. And due to circumstances that I'm not gonna explain because this is getting long Daisy is forced to save Donald with the help of his nephews and their friend Webby. After he's rescued the two share their first kiss and officially become a couple. Which may have made me fangirl squeal lol.

So in summary yes I ship this, but only really the DuckTales reboot version of this ship. Every other version, I just can't, it's too toxic for me.
