{Breana's POV}
"That was a delicious meal" I sighed with a giant smile on my face. "I can't disagree... it was good... especially since it was pizza" Kat said in her usual bored tone.

The three of us entered the new Puppet Daycare, our tummies full and satisfied. When we entered we heard a gentle thud, and all three of us looked over to the stage.

Me and Lucy gasped, while Kat just had a tiny bit of shock on her features. Both boxes were open, but one was tipped over with packing peanuts everywhere. Two animatronics lay on the floor limp. And in one animatronic's hands was a little doll, and in the other animatronic's hands was a medium sized pamphlet.

We slowly walked over to them still in a bit of shock. "How did they?.... but they.... and they're out?... how? How did they get out?" Lucy asked examining the two animatronics.

"Well they obviously just got up and got out!" I said remembering the old pizzeria and how the animatronics came alive. "That's impossible! They're just some stupid robots! They can't come alive!" Kat said rolling her eyes.
"But they can! I've seen it in the other pizzeria!"
"Are you sure that you didn't have to much coffee or something!?"
"I know what I saw! And I don't think you can get crazy off coffee!"
"Just admit it, it was your imagination! Next thing Y'know you'll be saying that acorns can fly! And babies are going to be the new government!"
I gasped "How dare you! You little-"
"Stop!!" Lucy yelled sternly, interrupting us. "Now get your shit together! And drop it! It doesn't matter how they got out now! Let's just set them up! And make sure they're working!"

We had never heard Lucy yell nor swear, it was actually quite intimidating... I held my mouth shut while giving a slight nod and Kat just had an emotionless expression on while mumbling a "Whatever...".

After we had all calmed down, and Lucy got the instruction pamphlet from one of the animatronics, she started reading the information for them.

"So the first one is named Puppet Nightmarionne Marionette or also known as Mari" Lucy read aloud while pointing to the taller animatronic who was black and had more dark and faded colours. She then pointed to the other one who was a bit shorter, grey, and was a bit more colourful. "And that one is named The Doll or just plain Doll. Hmmm a little unoriginal if you ask me". I just rolled my eyes and waited for my next instructions.

*TimeSkip🤭*

After Lucy explained to us what we were suppose to do, we started setting them up. Kat and Lucy placed Mari in this big box that was pink with a black cross, along with the toy doll that was with Doll earlier. Surprisingly the toy doll looked exactly like the real Doll, minus the button eyes.

While they did that, I grabbed a latter and carried Doll up to these strings that hung from the ceiling. I found small hooks on both the strings and on Dolls wrists and legs/ankles(?). I hooked Doll onto the strings, and let her hang limp from the ceiling.

I looked over at my fellow employees and smiled, seeing as they were done. "Now we make sure they work properly" Kat said. "So we get to watch their performance?!" I grinned excited. "Yep" Lucy replied while we all got off the stage and instead stood in front of it.

"Now in the instruction book thing it said they were voice activated. Sooo what do we say?" Kat questioned with her arms crossed. I took a random guess and raised my voice a little "Turn on". All of a sudden every single music box in the room started playing a soft tune in sink.

The lights dimmed and the stage lights turned on. "Wow...fancy..." Kat said with sarcasm. Suddenly the giant box opened and out came Mari. Smiling she held out her hand and the mini doll popped up. My eyes widened but I didn't say anything. How did she do that?

She waved her hand in front of it and the mini doll's eyes glowed, while up in the dark where the roof is, a pair of pinkish-yellow eyes popped open and slowly Doll ascended still held by the strings. The mini doll floated above Mari's right hand while Mari's left hand did little gestures around mini doll, making her stand up strait in a bowing position. My eyes widened even more as I saw that Doll quickly bowed exactly like mini doll.

Mari continued making gestures around mini doll, making her dance to the music boxes sweet melody. And of course Doll followed every movement with ease. A little while later the music slowed down to a stop as Mari soon descended into her box with mini doll, and the actual Doll was pulled back up into the shadows of the ceiling, closing her eyes, and going back into a limp dangling position.

I clapped like anyone would after a performance, with Lucy and Kat soon clapped along afterwards. "That was great!" I smiled.

"Thank you! I tried my best and I bet Mari did too!!" We heard a voice say. We turned to each other with questioning faces. Then we looked up and saw the same pair of pinkish-orange eyes from before, staring down at us. Lucy gasped, Kat's eyes went wide, and my mouth was wide open.

"Yes, I do try my best to put on a spectacular show" We looked over and saw Mari halfway out, leaning apon her box with a chill look on her face.

The room fell silent as Lucy, Kat, and I were frozen in shock.
