This was bad. That Mimic guy had separated everyone, and Sans found himself alone. He needed to be with Shota! His boyfriend was no pushover. That was for certain. Sans wasn't actually all that worried. But he only had one HP himself. His magical defenses were above average, but if Himiko Toga got to him before he could read her soul... Toga was certainly the one he was most worried about at the moment. Sans summoned a few blasters. He would have to be extra vigilant until he found a friendly soul. With a snap of his phalanges, the blasters broke through the walls. He couldn't be a sitting duck for them to pick off. Sans had to continue forward and hope that they would catch up before he or that little girl got hurt or worse. Sans climbed up onto one of his blasters as he looked back to... wherever the others still were. "i'm counting on you to catch up..." He had faith. "let's go." The blaster shot forward as Sans got comfortable and scanned his surroundings for any sudden dangers. The walls had stopped moving, which meant that Joi Irinaka was no longer in the walls. It seemed likely that someone was combating him. "good luck..."

Sans noticed he was approaching someone or something. A battle between Kai and Mirio. Two more villains were on the ground and unconscious, and Mirio had the girl away from Kai. The villain was looking pretty pissed off, and Sans noticed almost immediately that he had some of those bullets on his person. He wasn't going to be afraid to use them. Sans knew his type. He would stop at nothing to get that little girl back. Sans turned Mirio's soul blue as Kai touched the ground and dragged the startled hero up as the concrete became jagged spikes. "don't think that lemillion's alone, bud." Sans growled out as he readied himself to fight by the third year's side. Lemillion smiled as he held Eri closer. "Thanks, Judge!" Sans was forced to let go so he could dodge a bullet from an apparently still awake lackey, but Mirio was prepared for it, phasing through the ground like it was nothing and surprise attacked the enemy before going after Kai. Sans jumped down to shield Eri and smiled at her. "don't worry, kiddo. lemillion, me, and all the other heroes won't let you get hurt." He assured her.

It all happened fast. Sans was still trying to process while he was on his knees. One of the defeated villains, Shin, had gotten up, and Kai had thrown him the bullets. Sans had almost been shot. Mirio had intervened, though. Lost his quirk for him. Then Sans' equilibrium was thrown off, dropping him to his hands and knees. It wasn't an unfamiliar feeling, though. It was like being drunk, and Sans knew a thing or two about using magic drunk. He shot blue bones at the villain with the gun and used his summoned blasters to destroy the oncoming spikes. "lemillion. you know what to do." Sans got back onto his feet, taking his place in front of the 'quickless' hero. It was Sans versus Overhaul now, and he had to either finish this or buy time. Either way, he was hoping he had the upper hand, being made of magic. Sans turned Kai's soul blue as he initiated battle with the mob boss. Kai tried to destroy the bones as he had done to everything else in his wake... but it seemed his quirk didn't work on magical constructs.

Sans dodged past spikes, trying to finish the last of Kai's HP with his KR. The human was looking worse for wear, and that was a good thing. It meant Sans had almost finished his job. Kai was a stubborn man, though. He refused to go down. Sans summoned four blasters to finish off the man, but since Kai couldn't destroy his magic, he had learned to dodge instead. Just like the kid had. Sans tried to push them out of his mind. Focus on the fight. Sans ducked away from rubble, turning to face his new enemy - well, Ally, actually. "I caught up!" Izuku took in his surroundings, and Sans smiled. "about damn time. eraserhead with you?" Said boyfriend walked through the hole Izuku made with Sir Nighteye on his tail. "I'm here, Judge." Sans nodded, his eyelights darting to Izuku as the kid landed a perfect punch on Kai, losing his HP a bit more. "i did a number on him, but lemillion took out nearly every man here himself." Sans explained as Shota activated his quirk. Nighteye went to check on Mirio. "his hp is close to zero. let's try to finish this. yeah, kid?" Izuku and Shota both nodded as one of Overhaul's aids got back up behind him.

Sans was being shoved away as spikes shot up, Shota taking the brunt of the attack. His pupils disappeared as Shota was taken away by Shin. Sans breath quickened as Kai turned himself into... something, and Nighteye attacked him. "Get Lemillion and Eri out of here!" Nighteye ordered, and Sans forced himself up from where he was to get Shota. "deku, you do as sir nighteye says, eraserhead and i will catch up." Sans couldn't afford to freeze or give up yet. Not when his first and only love was in danger. Deku nodded and started to lead them away while Sans went after his Shota. Sans turned Hari's soul blue and slammed into every damn surface he could as soon as he caught up. He needed to make sure he wouldn't be getting up again any time soon. "Judge... Judge, that's enough..." Sans dropped the human in favor of helping Shota out of his binds. He took a shortcut back to the surface only to find everyone else there, Eri's quick at max power while she used it on Izuku. Sans wasn't paying attention anymore. That ability. The way it erased everything was as if it never happened. "r-reset..?"
