Moving Forward
Sans and Eri looked up at a smaller building in the town. It was brand spanking new, with a massive sign that screamed Papyrus. "Shiv-all-ree and Just-us for all." Eri read the sign, and Sans nodded approvingly. "yup, you're right, kiddo. that's your uncle and justice's new hero organization. wanna go in?" Eri bounced around him. "Yeah! Yeah! Let's see Uncle P- Shiv-all-ree!" She caught herself from saying his name in public, and Sans rolled his eyelights good-naturedly. "good effort, but the public does know his real name. hero names are more or less for missions, code names for us as a safety measure." He explained as he led her in. The lobby was... interesting. The pillars of the building were literal spears with a gym looking thing on one side and a kitchen/food bar area on the other. The place already had a good number of sidekicks and people running around and getting the place ready to be a full-blown agency. Undyne was at the head of it all, telling them what to do and where to go. Papyrus was helping around, making sure his friends' orders were carried out.

"Uncle Papyrus!!!" Eri ran over to the tall skeleton, and Papyrus stopped and crouched to scoop her into a hug. "HELLO ERI!!! DID MY BROTHER BRING YOU HERE?" Papyrus asked. Sans wandered over as he was brought up. "yeah, bro. we wanted to visit 'fore i bring eri home. this place is coming along nicely." He took another glance around. "how much longer, ya think, 'fore your and undyne's agency is up and running?" Papyrus patted Eri's head and brought her to the food bar to treat her. "We Think It Will Be Just A Couple More Weeks! Undyne And I Are Choosing Out Our Final Sidekicks And Office Workers!" Eri reached eagerly for the smoothie Papyrus made her. "awesome! i'm really happy for you guys. making a name for yourself in the world, heh. i knew you would." Papyrus 'nyeh'ed excitedly and strutted over to hug his brother. "Yes You Did! I Am Very Proud Of You, Too... You Really Came Into Your Own, Here. You Have Come A Long Way, From The Underground Days, Brother..." Sans flushed, looking away embarrassedly. "ya really think so? thanks, bro... means a lot coming from you..."

Sans brought Eri home after hanging out a little bit longer, and they played with her toys until Shota came home from preparing for joint training classes 1-A and 2-B. The festival had really helped Eri come out of her shell, and she was getting a lot more open with everyone in the classroom and staff. "Well, I wonder where my boyfriend and daughter could be? Surely not in in Eri's bedroom?" Sans snickered as Shota poked his head in from the hall. "You found us!" Eri got up to hug her other dad. Sans started to clean up. "wanna nap while i make dinner?" He offered. It had kinda been the flow they got into. Sans and Shota would go to school and do their classes, sometimes Eri would be involved as Sans little helper. Then he went into training Eri and the boys. After, he brought Eri home to play, or would bring her somewhere to see more of the world. Once Shota got home, Sans got back into cooking so his lover could nap or play with Eri. He would get his own nap in after. By the time it was Eri's bedtime, they were both ready to go to work. "No, I think I will join you tonight, Sans." Shota carried Eri in.

The three of them made a family dinner together. They made some Japanese style Ramen for dinner before putting on a movie so Sans and Shota could nap together. Eri giggled at her lazy dad's as she snuggled in-between them. She never knew her life could have ever amounted to this. She thought she was going to be used her entire life, unhappy and never knowing what it was to have a real family, but here she was, cuddled between the two best adults she would ever know. And Uncle Papyrus, but Uncle Papyrus lived in his own little place now. Papa Sans and papa Shota made sure she was happy and cared for every day. And they were there, every time she had bad dreams. Papa Sans would wipe away her tears and promise her safety and she believed him with all her heart and soul. This was her family, and she could never, would never, change it for the world. Eri got comfortable between her dad's, knowing that she was safe and loved.

The next day, before school started, Sans took Eri to the tech lab. He was picking up a new gadget for himself, Shota, and Eri. Something every monster who'd lived in the Underground knew about. Alphys, upon becoming an official member of the tech support team, picked up a new student in the form of Mei Hatsume, the tech crazed, highly intelligent, scope eyed girl. It was Mei who came up with a way to shrink down a dimensional box into a pocket size and infused Sans teleportation magic into it for emergency use. That way, if Eri was in danger, or Shota needed to fall back, but couldn't escape, the magic would react and blip them to the closest hospital, hero agency, or police department. Of course, the school and home were also among those locations. "sup, al? how's the tech life treating ya?" Eri yet again let go of Sans hand to hug Alphys and she happily hugged her 'auntie' back. "G-good! Great, actually!" She was working on that stutter too. "heh, i had a feeling you would feel right at home here. ya were practically born for this job." Mei brought over the shrunken boxes, explaining how they worked while Alphys grew bashful.
