Chapter 43
(A/N Y'know all stories come to an end, right?)
The siren had been aboard Bill's ship for a few years now, fully accustomed to his life as a pirate and a siren.
He could be found sitting at the ledge of the ship, both feet slung over the edge as he was in the midst of a delightful conversation with his smiling twin. The wind caressed his tousled brown locks, as his face was slightly pink from the coldness of the breeze. He was peering down at his sister who was in the midst of telling a story, excitedly swimming circles in the water, "And then I said, there's never enough glitter! And proceeded to pour glitter all over the cave which is now... a choking hazard for all my fish friends." she murmured, watching the male stifle a chuckle, "Uh... Free dinner- sparkles included?" the boy laughed, earning a glare from Mabel.
The brunette gasped, "Dipper! I wouldn't eat my own friends!" she said, before splashing him with water.
Dipper laughed, as he smiled brightly at his goofy twin.
The boy had been allowed to reunite with his family, and was allowed to return whenever he pleased.
When he finally did return, his family-of course, was reluctant in letting him return to the supposed, "ruthless" captain after that one day, Dipper just reappeared into their lives- swimming into their home saying, "Hey guys! I'm back!" then he was attacked with a flurry of hugs and kisses from his family.
He embraced them all, smiling all the while. Telling them tales of the land above, explaining what had happened between himself and Bill. Stanford was extremely interested in this- he and Dipper would spend countless hours making entries on all of the creatures that resided outside of a sirens reach, and eventually, they let Dipper go back.
Their Grunkle Stan was the hardest to convince, as he held the most concern for his beloved nephew.
After Dipper convinced his grunkle that his mind wasn't under the influence of Bill, he gave his permission.
Mabel was all in all, downright perplexed to Dipper's new "friend". To be frank, she was suspicious, making casual hints that Dipper's new friendship was something a bit more than friends. Nontheless, Mabel was happy for him and she apologized over and over for even considering the abandonment of her own twin.
Nevertheless, the boy was content- he had never felt so whole as a person and his taboo with a human still perplexed him. He didn't really care for it, now.
"Ay, worthless sea dogs!" a voice from above sounded, causing both Dipper and Mabel to look at the proud figure standing atop the stairs, with the brightest grin.
The pair grinned at him, lifting their fists yelling, "Ayy, Captain Cipher!" followed by many more enthusaistic calls from the crew.
The man laughed, making his way down the stairs, both hands behind his back as his eye trailed on everyone he passed, "I recall us sinking a whole freaking batallion yesterday!" the captain shouted excitedly, "Damn Royal Navy had no idea what was coming to 'em!"
The crowd hooted as they chuckled at each other.
"And." the captain grinned, suddenly standing directly in front of Dipper, "My siren here led us right to 'em." he grinned, golden eyes directly on the boy, as he outstretched a hand towards the siren.
Dipper grinned in turn, waving goodbye to Mabel as she giggled back at him, "Definitely not just friends." she commented, watching the boy snort and take the man's hand with confidence.
"Oh, it wasn't much. Child's play." he smiled confidently, watching the demon quirk an eyebrow.
"Sure~ Pine Tree." the man smiled, a gloved hand coming to cup the siren's cheek.
The whole crew grinned at the display of affection, (secretly all the wattpad readers) and had grown used to the publicity of it and how opposite it was of chaste.
From up above, Bill's friends were watching- Pyronica giggling at the completely lovesick expression that was on their leaders face.
"He's so done." she said, watching Hector laugh in return.
"Oh yeah. He's gonna be punished for this for sure." the man started, "But, I don't think he cares."
"That's Bill for ya. He doesn't concern himself with consequences till... well... ever, actually." the pink monster replied, tapping her chin in thought of when Bill had ever been openly distraught.
"Unless it concerns Dipper." Hector said earning an immediate nod from Pyronica.
"I don't know how the others will react at home, but I bet it'll give them a real toothache when they hear about it!" Teeth chimed in, immediately laughing at his own joke.
"I'm gonna give you much more than a toothache." Hector threatened, watching Teeth nervously back up to hide behind Eight.
"Well, well, well!" Bill mused, looking off in the distance.
Dipper's eyes followed to see a ship of similar size, with a man in a purple long coat and neat black hair at the front. He was checking his pocketwatch before disappearing in a flurry of violet flames before appearing directly in front of Dipper and Bill.
"Tad. What brings you here?" Bill asked, grinning widely at him before pulling Dipper closer to his side.
"What's up, bread lover?" Dipper also chimed in, smiling.
Tad sighed, "It's like I'm dealing with Bill and his mini version." he explained before reaching for a scroll of paper in his coat.
He handed it to Bill, the golden man accepting the paper with a flourish before he pulled the string from the rolled paper.
His expression darkened as he scanned the contents of it. Dipper peered over at the paper, but all he could see was gold writing in an unknown cipher that he had never seen before.
Bill then grinned maniacally, "About time, I was getting tired of waiting!" he cackled, tightening his grip on the male. Dipper noticed despite his smile, and seemingly brimming confidence- he was nervous.
"They're coming, Bill. You went back on a deal, so they're coming to right your wrong." he said, violet eyes moving to Dipper's, "They're coming for you, kid."
This was the first time Dipper heard of this, he looked at the black gloved hand tightened around his own wrist.
Bill had disobeyed some sort of demon law by giving him his memories back, and now they're coming for him.
But, who is they? And how much more powerful could they be than Bill, his crew and possibly Tad Strange, too?
The golden demon laughed, "Pine Tree, you shouldn't be worried about me." he said, examining the brunet, "You should be worried about what I'm going to do to them for trying to take you away from me." he growled, yellow eyes growing brighter.
Tad looked to Dipper, "There's a reason Bill has always gotten away with things, interrupted. He's one of the strongest and oldest demons to exist. They must be bringing everyone to deal with him." he sighed, "I hate that I'm going to help you, but I like the kid too." he said, a purple flame glowing in his palm.
The sky was darkening now, silhouettes filling the sky- a dimensional tear forming out of seemingly nothing.
"I don't need your help, Tad. I'll finish every last one of them where they stand." he smiled murderously, still holding on to Dipper, "You ever fly before, kid?" he asked.
"Erm.. No-" he started before being dragged up into the air, his legs waving loosely in the wind.
The boy was absolutely terrified, clinging on to the blonde for dear life.
"Put me down, Bill!" he squeaked, shaking the demon.
"Sure, yes. After I eradicate the demon species, okay?" he smiled, sending a huge wave of fire into the tear. The sounds of flames raging mixed with the cries of many.
"Ahh. I love some murder in the morning." Bill smiled, like taking a whiff of a morning tea.
(Ay, okay! Soo... that's gonna be the ending, finished what- 5 years later? You're so welcome. I've really outdone myself!! Thanks guys. Hope you enjoyed my fic, goodbye forever. The reason you don't see demons anymore is because I, no- Bill killed them all. HA. Alrighty, well see ya! Did you like that drawing at the start of the chapter? I drew it. WOW!)
