It all started with a letter.

 A letter of all things.

 A silver and dark purple letter with fancy silver calligraphy, to be exact. 

        I stride into our simple, black and orange house holding a large wad of mail consisting of mostly junk mail. "Catch!" I yell to my little sister, Hestia and start tossing junk mail to her, which she and my little bro, Aiden, burn to ashes with their Ember attacks. Then, a piece of mail at the bottom of the pile catches my eye in mid-throw. I jump after it, right as Aiden and Hestia attempt to burn it. Fortunately, my handy ability, Flash Fire, allowed me to feel and experience no pain as the blast of some-what powerful embers hit my clawed paw-hands. 

Both puppie's eyes grow bigger than dinner plates. They forgot about my Flash Fire. " Are you okay?" Hestia cries as Aiden runs to the sink to get some water. 

"I'm fine, both of you, don't worry! Remember?" To demonstrate my cool ability, I breath a Flamethrower on my hands. "See? I'm completely fine! Now, let's check out this mysterious piece of mail!" I sit myself down on our falling-apart couch and pat the spots next to me for my little siblings to sit with me. Aiden plops down on my right and Hestia crawls into my lap as I carefully slip my claw under the seal on the envelope. It is an interesting seal, with two big letters on it: N and A. Across it is a comet.

With shaking hands, I carefully slide a letter that's, once again, black and dark purple with the same silver manuscript. "Ready to see what it says?" I ask Aiden and Hestia, who both nod. "Alright. Ahem.." I clear my throat and say in a weird voice,

"Welcome to the Nova Academy! I, The Principal, ask you and your family to audition for the wonderful Nova Academy! Nova Academy is a wonderful place to learn, make friends, and live! With a large pool for water types, a forest for grass types, a rock wall with lava for fire types-" i stop to listen to my brother's excitement at this rock wall mentioned.

"-and even more!"  I continue.

Before I can read any more, I get interrupted once again by the door slamming open and a hyper Amaya bursts  through the door. "HeySekia,checkoutthisawesomeletterIgotfrom thisboardingschool,NovaAcademy! MeandFelixargoingthereoratleastaudition-"

"Slow down!" I yell. "I got the letter as well. but I don't think I'm going. Plus, I don't think your little bro would like going to a boarding school."

"But I asked him and he said he would love to go with us!" as the Vaporeon girl says that, she slides over to me and casually slips her arm on my shoulders. "Come on, don't be a flat pancake! Go to the Nova Academy with us!"

I sigh. "Fine."
