~*Ren POV*~

"So you're the ruler of the underworld or something yet you're inhabiting a tree." I say, drawing in the sand with my stick.

"Well, yes. But don't judge me, I have good reasoning."

I stare at him. "And that... Is--"

"I HAVE TO GO TO A MEETING OF THE POKE-GODS AND IT'S AT THIS SCHOOL AND DON'T JUDGE ME!" He roars. "You happy?"

I nod, trying not to laugh. "Okay. So why did I summon you instead of--"

"I DIDN'T ANSWER IT THE FIRST 9 TIMES, I WON'T ANSWER IT NOW, I WON'T ANSWER IT WHEN YOU'VE ASKED IT 26 TIMES!" The tree screeches.

"Well then. You didn't have to snap at me." I shrug. I hear him growling under his breath.

~*Sekia POV*~

"GET BACK HERE, VIXEN!" I yell, sprinting after the Lucario.

"Nope!" She casually swings herself up on the fridge, the one place where I can't reach in the little dorm.

So I hop up on the oven and grab onto the overhead lights swinging down, letting go with one hand and reaching for Vixen. We're playing freeze tag and Vixen is the only one left. Both of us refuse to lose.

Vixen jumps down from the fridge and runs toward the nearest person, Strong, and high-fiving him.

He jumps up in the air and runs around the room, un-freezing them.

"Can't we stop?" I groan.

"NO!" Vixen and Mirka yell in unison.

"Well I'm leaving." I hop out through the balcony.

"Hey, wait!" Akiko runs after me. "Where are you going?" 

"Down to the beach." I sprint off.

I finally reach the beach to see Ren standing there, talking to a tree.

"Ren?" I ask, approaching the Shaymin.

"No, I don't think so." He tells the tree.

"I knew it!" An Akiko-ish voice yelps from behind me.

"What?" I turn around.

"Ren is in a trance." She starts. "The tree he's talking to is the one and only Xiuhcoatl, the serpentine god ofthe firey underworld."

"What now?"

i wasn't feeling very creative today.
