I look at Ren. He's just staring at the serpent, not aware that we're behind him.

"Yes. I think. Um, I dunno... STOP HARASSING ME!" He screams and covers his ears.

"Shouldn't we do something?" I ask Akiko, who's watching Ren and the Underworld thing as well.

"Nope. That's gonna make it worse." She replies.

"Okay..." I mutter and start walking to my favorite on-campus fast food place, Mac. Bill's.

Akiko just shrugs and follows me.

I twirl the ice around in my cup of Coke. "So. Shouldn't we tell people or something?"

"Tell them what? That an evil tree is on the loose? I don't think anyone will believe it." Akiko replies and hops over the counter and quickly returns with two cups of fries. "Just let your anger out on the fries." she instructs.

I look at the unconscious workers and back at Akiko. Then I grab a big potato and throw it across the room, screaming at the top of my lungs. It quickly turns into a howl, turning me into a full-out Houndoom. I'm joined by a shiny Shinx, but she isn't howling, just sparks flying off her little whiskers.

I just howl for what seems like an hour but is in reality is about 10 minutes. I get interrupted by a raspy voice. "Sekia. Akiko. What are you doing here when you could be helping Ren?"

We both spin around and turn back into Gijinkas.

Standing in the door is a boy in a dark cloak with a red pointy scarf. He has white wispy hair covering his face, but one bright blue eye still shows. His shoulders look like they have dark clouds billowing off of them. "You might wonder who I am."

Silence.

"Well?" Akiko asks. "Who are you?"

"You don't need to know that. Just remember my advice." And with that, he literally disappears.
