The Skeletal Houndlizard despite its rather undead looks is actually alive, however it cannot feed itself regularly, which allows it to form a symbiotic relationship with the Blob-thian Houndlizard, giving it some structure, but also gains protection, they feed at the same time, the Skeletal Houndlizard absorbs some nutrients from what the Blob-thian Houndlizard consumes. It needs the protection due to its bones being rather breakable but despite the fact that they can break easy they are strong which does give in turn the host an extra boost of strength.
