Despite the name, the Quicksand Cactus does not grow in quicksand. Instead it grows in caverns with a very strong rock arch system, and grows well....underground with the roots pointing up. The roots are red in color and are bigger than cactus roots on earth. contains gallons of water just be careful of the spines.
