Crest is what I call a Kane, given that name by the extended middle finger that it uses to spear it's prey. Kane's have four eyes two right where eyes should be, and two below them on the bottom jaw. sharp teeth and claws makes this a hard enemy. the webbing at a Kane's pits determine it's current emotions:

green: passive.

blue: sad.

red: angry

black: warning.

purple: attracting the females/in love.

Kane's have split tails, hooves and feathers so they can look more intimidating. If there's anything that the males and females love the most it's a fight.
