The Jawfrilled Houndlizard is a special Houndlizard unlike it's other relatives, it possesses both fur and scales. Fur is found on the back and onto the tip of the tail while the scales are found throught the body. Along it's neck it has a special frill that is it's second mouth, even though it's composed of multiple mouth flaps. The mouth like legs are just for show, they do not touch any digestive track nor are they even connected to any salival glands or have any tongues, they are merely there for both intimidation and for gaining speed. The 'teeth' on the legs act like a zipper, they open when they fold out, when that happens the legs seperate and they become twice as fast with eight legs rather than two. The second and first mouth has a blue tongue for intimidation, the second mouth opens durring eating, running towards prey and for territorial reasons. When hunting for prey they wait and watch for ang boar or deer that comes near their icey home. When they spot their prey their second mouth opens up and the second tongue hides in it's special pouth to not draw attention to color, when it gets closer it actually rattles it's teeth to spook the prey which then leads to a chase. They live on Menagerie's frozen contenent Zero.
