I sat in class quietly after assembly a.k.a morning devotion. I wasn't feeling it today.....you know having any type of vibe....I just felt neutral and like a ticking bomb waiting to explode at the next scene of my quiet time...bubbie and shola my two bestie weren't yet in school and it was past eight.and they weren't here yet??

Assembly time was over...anyway why bother they are ss2's and probably would be taking their precious time to come to school besides since we were in senior class already they can handle their late-coming themselves....

Students had started trooping in groups and you bet the first person to enter ss2b was obi singing on top of his crooked voice davido's song "if" 

"If I tell you say I love you

My money my body na your own ooh baby

30 billion for your account ooh

Versace and Gucci for your body ooh baby "

Gosh he was so loud!!! I felt like ripping him off into two and mind you don't underestimate my mood cause I just remembered I didn't have my chill pills before coming to school

So much of being an adviser

But here obi was singing mindlessly cause he had a headphone on...only if he knew that i desperately prayed for it to be seized...

"No do no do no do gra gra for me

No do no do no do...."

"Here" a voice said placing a fluffy ear phone like on my ears

I turned sharply to see a guy with cute smiles standing behind me...he was tall light skinned and beautiful not handsome...some guys look beautiful duh

"He's going to block your ear drums if you listen to him...."  he continued smiling at me . But I didn't smile back, I glared at him...

I knew i should be grateful that someone really cared about how I felt now

I knew i should be thankful for he being generous to actually give me his fluffy ear warmer.

But remember I told you I wasn't feeling it today!  I was like a  ticking bomb waiting for the next scene of my quiet time and soo I did the only thing my bomb could do...

Explode

I glare at the beautiful guy throwing his warmer at him TAKE THOSE BACK I DON'T NEED IT FOR ANYTHING!!! HOW CAN Y'ALL ACT SO MINDLESSLY WHAT KIND OF SCHOOL IS THIS???" I yelled angrily. The guy stood speechlessly obviously taken aback at my outburst but i wasn't done yet as I quickly took a hardcover note book to aim at obi's head and while it hit him I smirked

"AND YOU OBI! You better shut that pigeon hole you call mouth....don't you realize that you sound like a dying toad which has nice voice compared to what I'm hearing you spring out from that ridiculous hole"  I raved on top of my voice

For some seconds the class stood still shocked at my behavior I glanced round the class before taking my leave. Just when i was about to step out I heard bubbie squeal

"Baby icy wait for me!!!" She yelled. I rolled my eyes walking out of the class to my favorite spot in school

That's right...the park

"Are you okay? " shola asked peering at me in a funny way with a smile

"Well baby welcome to Melviks High!!!" Bubbie squealed loudly

"Awwwwn look at you girl you looked so pissed off " shola  said cooeing

"Girls it's not funny!"  I said sternly

"We know honey but men you gat to deal with it" shola replied

"That's right..." bubbie agreed "besides what you did in there was shocking" she said pointing to the class

"He deserved it...." I deadpan

"Obi or the other guy?" Shola asked

"Obi....I...don't know for the other one" I said stuttering quite abashed

" i mean obi was wrong he acted so mindlessly like there was no one in class like he had it to himself....it was selfish being noisy like that and...."

"Christy! "Bubbie called softly "we know obi was wrong and he acted selfishly but then he may have done it unknowingly"

"Yeah keep making excuses for him"

"No Christy I'm not...no one is perfect here dear and Melviks High ss2 students have a record of harbouring the most mentally hilarious douches " bubbie said making me burst into laughter...

"Christy it was your duty to caution him but you could have done it carefully and softly"

"Okay I get it...I'm not his mom or something right"

"But you're his classmates and corrections could come from any direction so long as it helps to shape an individual's life"

"Yeah right mom bubbie" shola cheered

"Alright but..."

"No butts Christy besides to prove that you're not perfect you threw your annoyance on the second dude.." shola said giving me a look of  I'm-right-aren't- I?

I huffed "so much of being a friend...did you have to point it out ?"

"Yep" shola said popping the "p"  "and I'm still gonna be that friend that'd make you do the needful" she said   giving me a smirk

I raised my eyebrows while bubbie kept wriggling her eyebrows like some lunatic....don't blame me

"So you gotta go in there and apologize to...."

"Hell no...I'm not doing that "I said folding my arms and pouting

Bubbie slapped my arms playfully

"C'mon christy don't be mean..."

"I'm not....I...just...can't"

"And how about the guy who tried being nice to you before you humiliated him...."bubbie asked

"Hey you two should stop making me feel like I'm the bad guy here okay....no one asked him to be nice...."

"Yet christy learn to be emphatic if it were you you'd feel bad "

Okay they are right I'd feel bad but saying sorry isn't going to change the fact that I called his caring attitude a mindless act

I sighed " shola this isn't working okay I don't just see how my saying sorry would help...."

"So what do you plan on doing?  "bubbie retorted paranoid....

Guess I'm not the only hot-tempered bitch around

"Bubbie I..."

"Whatever you can't kiss his shoes neither would you bow down in front of him that would be cruel and that's why saying sorry is the cheapest thing you can afford why don't you throw away pride and get this done already" bubbie scolded

I sighed again "you're right "

"Of course I am" she said flipping her hair while shola clapped

"Wow well done girls now let's get this over " she said...as we all gave a group hug

"My two best doofus" I whispered enough for the both girls to hear as they quickly pulled away with a playful punch

"Gerraoutta here" shola said just as we saw obi walking towards us but not in our direction. Bubbie drew my attention to him

"Here over to you" she said

"Was I going to apologize to him too?" I asked pouting

They both nodded "yeah bae now shooo" they chorused waving their hands for me to leave  i waved at obi watching him approach my direction with a smug look ...

as obi approached nearer they turned to leave

"Wait! " I called and they stopped abruptly "don't leave me please" I said giving them a pleading look

"Of course baby we got your back " shola cooed. I felt relieved I wasn't alone in this and of course nervous I was going apologize. Something I hardly ever did

Yet bubbie's speech still echoed in my brain.

Throw away the pride and get this done already

That's right I'll. I watched as obi drew nearer to me

"See ya" they called as obi approached me making me swear at them

"Two crazy duos" I muttered
