Chapter 2: Alice

The minute Erza started the car, I knew that my life would flash a lot. I prayed that I wouldn't pass out like the last time I went with her. Though, compared to the normal driving of the Fullbusters, Erza's normal driving is like a jog around a car. However, when in a rush, she and Midnight are tied for attempted murder while driving.

"Buckle up." Erza said.

Her eyes twinkled with excitement, so I knew she was going to go full speed. I buckled my seat belt tightly and laid on my seat. I closed my eyes while laying my left arm on the arm rest of my seat and laying my right arm on the door.

I felt the car move and kept myself calm so I wouldn't panic.

"Don't fall asleep over there like last time!" Erza complained.

I sweatdropped.

'I passed out... I didn't fall asleep and yet you took me out of the car, put my unconscious body in a booth near the counter, ordered a cake and then ate ten pieces of cake without buying me a single one. Then almost left me if I didn't wake up and yell for you to wait when you were about to drive away.' I thought to myself. I knew better than to say any of that to Erza. Especially when she's driving.

I remember when Gray and onee-chan argued with Erza while she was driving. During that time, Midnight and I were face timing onee-chan. They were unconscious in a matter of seconds while Erza kept her glare until Midnight calmed her down.

"We're here!" Erza exclaimed.

We got out of our car and entered a beautiful Cafe. The Cafe is apparently known for serving the best food, drinks and desserts in all of Fiore. Heck, maybe even the whole world.

We made it to the counter of the place to be met by a beautiful girl with long white hair, a sweet motherly smile and gentle blue eyes.

"Erza!" She exclaimed, hugging Erza.

I stood there processing information while Erza returned the hug. Obviously, they are old friends. Then, this girl... I looked at her name tag to make sure my theory was right, and it was. She is Mirajane Strauss, or Mira for short. She is on the cover of the most famous magazine ever, Sorcerer Weekly.

Suddenly, I felt a pain in my shoulder causing me to snap out of my thoughts.

"Ow!" I whined, rubbing my aching shoulder.

"Finally. Daydreaming while being spoken to is rude." Erza said sternly.

Mira shook her head with a smile still plastered on her face. She placed a small bag of ice on my shoulder and wrapped it up.

"Erza, you sure haven't changed." Mira said.

"You have changed a lot." Erza retorted.

Mira giggled and turned her attention to me. "Hi, I'm Mira. What's your name?"

"I know who you are. Mirajane Strauss, model of sorcerer weekly and works at Fairy Tail Company. I'm guessing you're working here part-time or covering for someone. You are the oldest child of the Strauss family. Sadly, you and your younger siblings were separated from your parents at age eight. Your younger siblings are Elfman and Lisanna Strauss. You took care of them for three months before you three were adopted. On your seventeenth birthday you moved into your own house. You are engaged to Laxus Dreyar and will be getting married in three months." I quietly said, though it was loud enough for Erza and Mira to hear.

Mira stared at me with shock while Erza stood proud. Unexpectedly, she grabbed Erza's and my wrists and pulled us to a back room.

"How do you know all of that?! Only a few people know about all of that!" She exclaimed confused.

I giggled. Her reaction is honestly priceless. Though, it isn't everyday you meet someone like me.

"She's a hacker Mira. Her name is Alice Heartfilia." Erza said.

Mira looked at me in shock. Then, back to Erza.

"A Heartfilia. Erza you helped in the disappearance of the Heartfilia sisters?!" Mira whisper-shouted.

Erza nodded while I just listened. "Gray, Midnight and I are all apart of their disappearance. Luckily, Jude is bad at descriptions and never really took pictures of them making it easy to get them around. All people know is their names. We call them by their first names. Their last name is now Star due to their magic."

"I thought they didn't have magic..." Mira said confused.

"It was a cover. Layla Heartfilia was one of the strongest mages celestially and overall. Though, when she got married to Jude, she covered all of that up completely. The only ones who knew were friends of hers. Which included Makarov, Igneel, Silver and my mom." Erza said.

"How could she cover up something so big?" Mira asked.

'I really want some cake right now.' I randomly thought.

"Name change and a fake death. When she fought Acnologia, he attacked her with a very powerful spell. Before it reached her, a celestial spirit got her out of there, though all thought she was dead since she left no trace. Though actually, she was only very injured and was being cared for by Silver and my mom. Once she recovered, her magic wasn't as strong so she changed her identity because Makarov didn't want old foes coming for her while in a weak state. So at her funeral, she came and everyone was confused. It was explained that she was the twin of Layla and her name was Lyla." Erza said.

"Wow. Just wow." Mira said.

"Yeah. Mom did some pretty cautious things for the people she cared about. Including staying on the sidelines until she could not no more. Dad believes she died from an unknown and untreatable disease due to doctors sent by Mr. Makarov and Uncle Silver. Though that was just another cover up. The truth is that mommy had to open up something called the Eclipse Gates and since she did not have all the zodiacs, she had to use her magic in their absence. However, her magic wasn't completely restored yet and so she died soon from magic deficiency a month later. Dad closed up and so Lucy raised me along with the maids and butlers, who we considered our aunts and uncles. Then, two years ago, daddy arranged onee-chan to get married so Auntie Spetto gave us two suitcases of items and a purse each. Oh, and mom's keys! Then she and the others helped us run away. We made it to Crocus and before we could set off to Hargeon, we were attacked. We couldn't fight them all off. Then swords came out of nowhere, gaining the attackers attention. They saw Erza, Gray and Midnight and literally peed their pants!" I giggled.

"They ran and Alice and Lucy introduced themselves as Alice and Lucy Star. We befriended each other and three months later they told us the truth about them when some things went down." Erza said.

Mira sighed. "Well, friends of yours are friends of ours." Mira turns to me and smiles. "Welcome to the gang! You'll meet the others quite soon."

I smile. "Thanks!"

"Mira!" A male voice yelled from the cafe.

"Well, time to go back to the front." Mira said.

She opened the door and we returned to the front of the cafe. Erza closed the back door and when she turned around, a male with white hair hugged her.

"Erza!" He yelled.

"Hey Elfman." Erza replied, hugging him back with a soft smile.

He released her from the hug and smiled happily. "How long have been back?"

"Since Friday. We finished settling in today and now we're just exploring." She replied.

"We're?" His eyes drifted down to me. "Who's this?"

Before she could reply, I decided to introduce myself. "My name is Alice..." I trailed off. I glanced towards Mira and Erza to see them nod. I sighed to calm myself. "I am Alice Heartfilia, one of the missing Heartfilia children." I whispered.

Elfman had a shocked expression. He looked at me, then Erza, and lastly Mira, who gave him an 'I'll explain later' expression. He regained his composure and smiled.

"Nice to meet you."

"Same." I replied happily.

"She's not the only one here. Her sister is as well. And let me not forget Gray, Lyon and Midnight. Ultear stayed in her private school, Crime Sorciere." Erza said.

"We had a transfer from that school two year after you guys left. He still visits them though." Elfman said. "It's nice that most of the gang is back. Plus two newbies."

"Agreed." Erza and Mira said.

The door opened and a guy with blue hair and a red tattoo around his left eye walked in.

'How could I forget we were still in the Cafe? Though, no one is really here anymore... Weird...'

"It's already meet up time? Darn I didn't even realize." Mira said.

"Meet up time?" I ask confused. Erza was too preoccupied, staring at the blue haired guy as he stared back.

"Time for the gang to gather here. We all hang out here and everyone in Magnolia knows that this is our meet up time. They gives us our time to just hang out here since the owner prefers us be here than just anywhere." Elfman replied.

"Erza." The guy spoke.

"Jellal..." Erza said.

Mira and Elfman stared at the two confused on how they knew each other. While I facepalmed, feeling stupid that I forgot Jellal.

"Jellal!" I exclaimed.

I ran and jumped towards him. He caught me with ease and hugged me before putting me down. We both smiled and looked at Erza, who had a twinkle in her eye. My smile faltered as I moved away from Jellal.

"Don't drop me." She said smiling.

Jellal smirked. "Wouldn't dream of it."

Erza ran to him and jumped. He caught her with ease, just like he did with me. He twirled her around and the two smiled at each other. Staring into each other's eyes.

Mira squealed quietly and took pictures for some reasons. She then came to me and asked me how we knew Jellal. In which I told her that we met him in Crocus but Erza and him supposedly had a past together way before.

"Enough flirting you two!" Elfman yelled.

Erza and Jellal both blushed slightly. Jellal put Erza down safely and the two came to us. Mira told us to help her set up for the gang and that's what we did for about thirty minutes. We cleaned the whole Cafe first. Then we made drinks and food. Lastly, we got the places for everyone to sit ready. The chairs and tables were in the back room while we had cushions on the floor. After that, Mira pressed a button on a controller and the windows around the cafe turned into walls, keeping anyone from looking in.

"The gang should be here about....now!" Mira exclaimed.

Just then, a group of people walked in. To our surprise, Gray, onee-chan, Lyon and Midnight were with them.

"Onee-chan!" I exclaimed.

I ran up and gave her a hug, interrupting her conversation with a salmon haired guy.

"So this is Alice?" The group of strangers asked.

Onee-chan nodded and released me from the hug. I smiled at the group. "Who are you guys? Starting with the salmon hair one please."

After those words, I was pulled into a hug by the salmon haired guy, shocking me.

"Finally! A person knows that it's salmon and not pink!" He exclaimed.

'Isn't salmon a type of pink?' I thought to myself, not wanting to offend the guy.

"My name's Natsu Dragneel!" He said, breaking my thoughts on how I could explain the color salmon without offending him.

"I'm Lisanna Strauss. My siblings are Mira and Elfman." A female with short white hair and blue eyes said.

"Sup. I'm Bickslow Helmet." A guy said, wearing a pair of magic concealing glasses.

"Hi. I am Evergreen Strauss. Hopefully, Elfman didn't bother you much?" She said, glaring at Elfman. She had long brown hair, green eyes and magic concealing glasses.

I giggled. "No, he hasn't."

"Good." She said, smiling.

"I'm Laxus Dreyar. Do not mind Ever, she's just a cranky because she's pregnant." The blonde guy with a lightning scar said.

Ever glared at him, muttering swears.

"I'm Levy McGarden! This is Gajeel Redfox." A short blue haired girl with brown eyes introduced herself and a tall red eyed male with long rough looking black hair, along with many iron piercings.

"I'm Ever Tearm, nice to meet you." He slightly bowed and smiled sweetly, causing some heat to rise to my cheeks.

I heard the girls giggle, causing even more heat to rise.

"I'm Romeo Conbolt. Nice to meet ya!" A boy who wore something similar to Natsu said.

"I'm Wendy Redfox. I hope we can be great friends." A girl with blue hair and brown eyes said to me with a bright smile.

I returned the smile and nodded. "Me too."

"I'm Freed Justine." A guy with long green hair said.

"I'm *hic* Cana Alberona~." A brown haired girl slurred.

"Juvia is Juvia Lockser. Nice to meet you Alice-san" A girl with dark blue hair said as she stood between onee-chan and Gray.

"I'm Happy and these two are Pantherlily and Charle. We're exceeds!" A blue exceed exclaimed, standing beside a black exceed and a white exceed.

"Now, let's get started!" Mira exclaimed.

To be completely honest, I didn't even plan to update today, but I decided since one of the chapters made it to 10 views I would just update, even though I was supposed to update after the first chapter made it to 10, but it was taking too long so I decided to just update. When this one hits 10 views, I'll update chapter three, or maybe before.
