So I decided I would write multiple sneak peaks. So when I go through times like these when the story is on hold Orr I can't post for a while, I can post a sneak peak.

This is one. It's literally the first draft, so the next time you see this event it will be done better. Hopefully more detail and emotions.

The Battle

I start making my way to the tunnel to take us out to the back yard of Luca house. I'll give them time to decide while we make our way out of here I don't want to die in a bunker because we couldn't decide what to do.

Glancing back I see everyone is following me. Marisa makes her way to the front. "Let's just go out there. Depending in this situation we split or head forward." She states matter of factly.

Eventually everyone mumbles in agreement. Slowly sliding open the hatch I climb out the hole and lay on the ground waiting for everyone to file out. I look out in the darkness and see the peons at the house.

As soon a Luca is on the ground he takes off at a run towards them. Ash and Clar take off after him trying to get him to stop. Suddenly Luca gets tackles to the ground by a peon.

My heart stops as I run towards him. Everyone is heading towards them now. When we get closer I hear Ren's voice.  Little sparks flicker across my skin.

Mira runs up and kicks Ren in the stomach and off of Luca. "Get off of him!" She whisper yells. Hoping not to attract more attention.

"You guys can't go out there."Ren huffs out.

I scoff, "Why should we trust yo-" Before I can finish my full sentence, a sound like fire crackers go off. I drop to the ground already knowing what it is.

Gun fire.

I take already peak out, the peons are shooting the house. Luca stands up and shoots water from his hands onto the peons closest to us. Before I can think I feel my skin crackle and lighting strikes near them. Barely missing them, they turn around now aware of us.

My heart is thumping in my chest. I throw my hand out at them another peon gets struck by the lightening. Mira throws a fireball at one that wasn't covered in water.

They can't see us because they are not wearing their night vision goggles. Ours are better being that one lense shows infared and the other is night vision. We've practice with them before, otherwise it would have been hard to focus. They can slightly see us though and that worries me because they have guns.

Kayle runs up next Iris stepping in front of her, he throws a knife at a solider that was aiming at us. The bullet would have hit her.

Trinity sways her arms and the limbs of the tree sway with her. She swoops her arms down and the branches swings low knocking over a row of soliders.

Mika Ky comes through loud and clear on the ear piece. "Clar, Trinity, Iris, Resse! Hold them back." There's an echo of got it it's coming from them. I turn and run back while the attack for us.

I catch up to Zixin and point at Mira. He gives me a confused look as he try grabbing me so we can run. "Tell her to start a fire."I pant as I take deep breath between words. He nods in understanding. I run a little further as he relays the message.

I come to a slow taking a gulp of air into my lungs as I turn. Mira whips around throwing her hands up. A line of fire comes to life. Coming calf high.

"Birdie make them spread!" I shout.

Birdie puckers her lips blowing lightly. A crease from between her eyebrows as she concentrates. The gust of wind she created send the flames soaring. Flames lick at the grass spread towards the peons. Coming waist height now.

The soliders come to a stop as the flames get closer to them. We all bolt for the nearest building.

700 words guys. Hope that was enough. Let me know if it should be longer next time.
