Suddenly lightning went off and a figure with long blazing crimson hair sat in it, which seemed to be female Only the most worthy will inherit this seat of Sovereignty, But who will it be?

A fishing boat is riding the waves of a storm, It rocked back and forward against the harsh waves, trying to stay afloat, A young girl with a crimson hair in braids along with a brown haired male were inside this boat, struggling while trying to keep the fish cages shut "Nanako, your gonna take over from here! Don't screw it up!" The brown haired guy told the girl.  "Y-Yes sir!" She responded to him, Sweat dropping as the frozen fishes were getting harder to hold down.  " and if you can't handle it I'm deduct half your pay!" Be threatened her before running out of the room.

Leaving the girl to struggle alone

Nanako kizuki, fourteen years old. She is being forced to work on a tuna fishing boat. Simply put, her parents are Selfish scumbags who refuse to work, So it's all on her.

Nana outfit, sorry it's not the whole thing

Nanako grunts while finally pushing the giant frozen tune fish back into its cage "I'm not gonna get by in half a pay check!" She wheezed, Suddenly a giant fish falls and lands down beside her, "huh?" She looks at it, Soon, a cage opens and lets two giant tune fishes fall out, Heading straight for her, She gasps, "why always me?!" She yelled out as she moves out of the way, Resulting in their tails breaking.

Nanako runs around the caged area, trying to get somewhere safe, She dodges as more frozen tuna came flying at her, She fell onto the ground while dodging, in slow motion, she rolled out of the way before one of the fishes crushed her, But she wasn't fast enough to see the other one coming for her.

She closes her eyes and braced for impact, but the fish stopped right above her, She opened her eyes and looked at it blinking in confusion " huh?" All the other fish falling were frozen in mid air, As she looked around, then everything around her changed, the room suddenly red, In front of her was a tall bald man with horns on his head, glasses, and a white moustache.  "eh?!?!" She panicked as she found herself tied up.

The men rose his arm and throw something at her, A piece of paper is slammed over her ropes with the words 'sold'"Sold?! W-W-What is happening right now!?" She asked him in shock, The man just laughed before making the two disappear and the frozen fish fell

Nanako's mouth is wide open as with her eyes, She was being pulled by the man, who now had wings and was flying, she was in a yellow bubble.  "W-Where are we going?! Who are you?!" She questioned the man, He spoke but she didn't understand a single word he said " excuse me sorry what?!" He then clicked his finger " now you will understand the demon language, Nanako kizuki, we are in the Netherworld" the man answered " the what?...." she asked hesitantly

"It's The world of demons" he stated "Realm of-ah I can understand you!" She pointed out surprised "I've put you under a spell," he told her.  "W-what, you can do that..." she asked   "Well Of course I can, I'm a demon, it's part of the package" he told, the fear came back, "are you joking?!" She asked in shock in a squeak "No child I'm not, my name is Sullivan and I'm a demon" he introduced himself to her. He looked down, " and you should know, your here cause your parents made a deal to sell your soul to me so now your mine" he informed her before laughing. 

"My parents seriously sold my soul to a demon?! But they would never do-" she stopped talking as she came to a realisation. 'Actually they totally would' she thought with a pained smile, The two continued to fly, soon a giant building can be seen. "What's That...?" Nanako asked the demon.  "That is my My mansion" Sullivan answered her, a smile appearing on his face with a hum

She leaned back in fear, "oh no! w-what are you going to do to me...!" She asked as she tries to get out of his magic, Her scream is soon heard coming from the mansion. 

Inside however She stared blankly as she sat in a pink cushioned chair. A pink bib handing around her neck and chest, Sullivan was kneeling in front of her, holding her hands, "please young nanako won't you be my granddaughter?" He asked her, She finally process his words"Huh!?" She asked as she leaned back slightly

Sullivan stood up with a faint blush on his cheeks. He looked away, "you see I've been alone here all this time...it's always been my dream to have a grand child to spoil!"he hugged himself as he explained.

Nanako blinked in confusion "grand..child...?" She asked, Sullivan falls onto his knees, taking her hands into his as tears came out of his eyes, "Levi and Beli out bragging about their grandchildren makes me so jealous!" He confessed, He than moved forward and grabbed the side of the chair, "ill buy you everything you want and spoil you rotten! So please! Please say you'll be my grand daughter?!" He asked her as he leaned his face close to nanako, making her sweat dropped and moved her face to the side "but, you just told me I've been sold to you, can I even say no?" She asked him, confused about the situation

"Ill respect your wishes, if you don't want to stay, i won't force you!" He says as he moves his face away from her, Nanako looked at the demon confused, 'but what should I do? My entire life I've Never said no...!' She thought as dread came over her face.

Indeed, nanako Kizuki is an extremely sweet-hearted person, and push over....

"You can handle this yourself" the guy from earlier told nana, who was mopping the deck, he says as he's leaving "Sure, no problem" she replied as she happily mopped the deck.

When ever she's asked to do something...

"Sorry about this" an elderly lady told her as she carried a giant green bag on her back " it's okay, it's not trouble" she told her as she helped her cross the street.

Even when she isn't asked at all...

At night somewhere by some warehouse, Nanako was being chased by guys in black suits who seemed like criminals " get back here you!" One of them yelled "Ahh keep chasing me! Don't feel bad!" She screamed at them with tears felling of her eyes as they chased her.

Even in ridiculous situations...she will consent to Anything and can't say no. She's such a push over even she finds herself pathetic

'But I mean! Most people would say no to this insanity wouldn't they?' She wondered as she looked up at Sullivan 'if it's okay to turn him down..' she smiled, "Eh so I think I-" she tried to answer but got cut off. Sullivan jumped at her "That said!" He cuts her off making her Yelp "that's exactly why I'm pushing you so hard! Come on! I'm literally begging right now! You'd be fulfilling the dying wishes of an old man!" He said as he grabbed her shirt as he cried. Turning into a chibi version of himself. "Please!" He begged her

Words nanako stands no chance against: 1.Please, 2.Help Me, 3.I beg of you

Nanako stamps her approval on a contract, She kneels on the ground in defeat while Sullivan held the contract and danced in joy '....I just became a demon's granddaughter' she thought as dread came over her.

After living fourteen years of misfortune, nanako has the habit of accepting everything.

Sullivan grew back to his normal self, "alrighty now that that's been settled" he said with a smile. He than raised an arm and snapped, the room getting turned into a bedroom, Nanako looked around the room confused, "what a sec! w-w-what is this?!" She asked him, He put the contract into his pocket, "you're my first cute granddaughter, your Food, clothing, shelter, and.." he snapped once more, A purple cloud appeared around nanako, the denim fishing overalls she wore before turned into a pink school uniform

"Whoa, what is this?" She asked in shock "Your Education! You look so perfect and cute~" he gushed at her as a blush appears on his face. He claps his hands with red cheeks, "I'm going to enroll you in a demon school!" He told her " the best demon school there is!"

"A Demon...school is that a thing?" She asked Curiously, Sullivan turned back into his chibi form, "because of your lowlife parents, you were forced to start working young never got your chance to go to school!" he cried into a napkin, He than slashed his hand into the hair, "but fear not! All the paperwork's been taken care of! I am your grandpa! Remember?" He told her with confident.

Nanako looked at the man dumbfounded, "my grand..pa" She said confused, Sullivan hugged himself as his body shivered, "oooh~! I love how that sounds when you say it!~on your first day we have to take a picture!" He waves his chibi arms around, The Dread feeling returned over nanako "can we slow down?..." she tries to talk

The demon than returned to his normal form, "there's never been. Human being enrolled at this school, but you won't be eaten as long as they don't find out what you are~" he nonchalant says to the human girl, She jumped in fear, "so, if they find out they'll eat me?!" She freaked " sploosh!" He yelled, Nanako than gets a purple liquid poured on by her so called chibi grandfather, Getting her entirely wet and sparkly, "this fragrance will cover up your human scent, so stop worrying" Sullivan assured

The young girl just stands there, "erm, you know....I'd rather-" she gets cut off. Sullivan starts to walk away, "I'm so relieved your such a delightful kid nanako~" he praises her. "If you declined...if have no other choice but to eat you for dinner tonight" he said in a demonic voice as his wings were out sitting on the ground placing books utop each other

Nanako stiffened then stood up straight as she gasped, "sorry, you were saying?" Sullivan asked her, She smiled sheepishly, "uh...nothing..." she answered him. "Henceforth, this room is yours!"

"It is...?" She asked astonished

"You'll have to get up early tomorrow for your first day, so get plenty of sleep, Good night!" Sullivan waved at her as he stood at her door, Nana looked at him in slight shock, "ah, but i..." she gets interrupted with the door closing in front of her.

Sullivan walks happily down the halls. Humming a song as did. He than meets with a member of his staff, "you take your whimsies much too far" he told the demon, The staff has red cat ears that went along with their braided red hair along with a black cat tail. "Opera..."

"You have five grandchildren still, even if you wanted another You could have adopted any or all of the demons you wanted, why would you adopt a human as your third granddaughter? What could you possibly be planning?" Opera asked blunty, no expression on their face, Sullivan held a serious expression on his face, "nothing in particular" he told him. He than starts going around the butler, "you'll understand some day opera" he said before walking away, He starts to hum, "I simply can not wait for tomorrow~" he said out loud as he walked away, Opera sighed

Nanako looked around the room, it was gigantic in size, There was a desk with a big bookcase beside the bed, The bed itself was a king size bed, had a red veil hanging above it, A brown wardrobe sat in the corner by the doors, Chandeliers hanged from the ceiling, She looked in wonder, "I have my very own room...never had that before" she said out loud, On top of the bed was a folded set of purple pajamas, A bow was placed at the collar of the shirt. "My whole life has been a literal hell really" she says as she picked up the clothes. 

Lights turned off as nana climbed into bed, She pulled the covers up to her chest as she lied down on the pillow, She looked around, "it's like a dream, a bizarre dream" she said before closing her eyes, going to sleep. 

Time skip

The Morning came, Light shown from the windows into her room, She was already sitting up in her bed, she was looking around again. Dread appeared on her face yet again "it wasn't a dream!" She said shock, Knocking is soon heard from her door, It slide open to reveal Sullivan, "hey nanako ~" he greeted her. "Good Morning! Did you have a good well last night?" He asked as he walked in, Opera stood behind him.

After getting dressed into her uniform, Sullivan took her outside, standing next to  a sign Opera was also there, standing  behind the demon. "Oh joy! My granddaughter's first day of school! Picture time! Nanako please stand next to that!" He pointed star the sign behind the girl, She walked up next to it, "what is this thing?" She asked out of curiosity as she pointed at it

Sullivan than rose his hand, a purple light appearing around the girl as the sign changes words "entrance ceremony?" She asked as she read it, She looked surprised that she could see it clearly in English, 'I can read it...!' She thought, she turned to look at the demon 'this must be another one of Sulli...Grandpa's spells?' She asked herself.

Nanako and Sullivan poser next to the sign whole Opera took the picture, The demon hopped around in his chibi form "I'm so happy! My granddaughter's first day of school! Her first little bag! So innocent! So pure!" Sullivan gushed, The three started to walk, nanako looked at Opera, "ah, pardon me...your names Opera, isn't it? About This School..." she got interrupted as Opera lifted their arms in front of them, Pointing ahead of them, "take a look" they told her.

The human girl turned looked ahead of her, and held a look of amazement as she looked in front of her "whoa..."

"That's the demon school, Babyls" Sullivan told her in his regular form.

The three looked up as various of student started to fly above them, all heading to the school, The students landed onto the school grounds, Tucking their wings back into their backs as they head through the gate. Everyone greeted each other as they walked, The three stood back as they watched, Nanako's mouth was open wide as she stared in front of her.

Sullivan pat her on the back, "I have to get ready! So I'm taking off now, tata~" he told his granddaughter before going away in a flash, Surprising her, She looked over at Opera, "erm...what about Opera...?" She asked them. Who turned and bowed to her, "have a good day miss" was all they said before standing back up. "...o-okay thank you" she said sadly.

With her head hanged low, she made her way to the gate, Where four demons in black and red uniforms stood in front of, She walked pasted them without looking up. "Hey, you!" A guy with black and white hair and glasses said to the girl, Which made her jump in a panic, She shakingly turned her head around, "m-me?" She asked with a stutter, She remembered the demons words 'But they won't eat you as long as they don't find out what you are' he said cheerfully

'They're gonna eat me!' She said in panicked/ fear, He pointed in a different direction, "to the auditorium" he told her.

"Ah...yes! Sorry sir!" She apologized before running in the direction he pointed.

Nanako lazily ran as tears pricked her eyes, 'thank goodness! They didn't figure out that I'm a human!' She thought in relief, Meanwhile a tall orange haired girl noticed her and came to a halt " president, is there something the matter?" One of the people who stopped nanako asked her "No it's nothing" she replied joining them

Elsewhere some guy yelled as he threw down his axe, making the person he aimed it at jump backwards " what is the meaning of this??!" And older sounding voice exclaimed "I'm testing my skills before the entrance ceremony, if I defeat a teacher then I'll be famous! Strength is everything!" The tall blond proclaimed raising his axe again At the person who turned out to be a teacher

"Oh I see your a moron..." the teacher glared

The auditorium was packed with students. The demons around the girl sniffed the air, "what's that, something smells delicious in here" a big fluffy demon said to his friends, Looking into the direction of where the girl sat, Sweat slowly fell down her face as she stared into the ground. 'Don't stand out...please don't stand out...' she repeated in her head.

"I hope we're gonna be in the same class~" a blond girl with black horns said to her friend. "Right? I'm so nervous" a a female, a green dragon, replied, Nanako stared at the two in amazement, '...hey...a normal conversation...' A green haired girl with sheep horns waved behind her and a pair of hands waving in the crowd behind back "hey mummy! U! Konchie! Keebow! Sin Sin! Ran Ran!" She called out as the students near the girl covered they're ears from her loudness

A smile appears on nanako's face, 'this just be a normal school after all...'

"Silence" a teacher on stage said, Eyes piercing with intimidation into the crowed of students. Soon everyone was quiet and sitting up, The young girl looked at the teacher in fright, 'is he a teacher...he's terrifying...' she thought with her mouth open slightly, A brown hair teacher walked up to the mic, "thank you all for waiting" he told the students. The clock in the room chimed, "it's 6:06am, let's formally commence the welcome ceremony to babyls," he finished speaking.

A student on stage stood behind a stand, "now all of you rise!" He said out loud. Everyone stood up, but nanako " huh?" And stands up with them "Time for the school song!" The student told everyone.

"Next, a greeting from our director" the brown haired teacher told the students and Everyone started to cheer "Incredible!" One student cheered. 'As in...the King of demons?' Nanako wondered" nanako~!" She heard her name being called, She looked up upon the stage in confusion, On the stage was Sullivan! Who was in his chibi form, "it's me! Your loving grandpa!" He called out to her. 'He's the director?!' She screamed in her head as she looked in horror.

"Nanako?"

"The directors granddaughter?"

"Yes indeed! My granddaughter now attends this school! And she's so precious and adorable I could squeeze her till her eyes pop out!~" he bragged about her to everyone, The human girl was hiding in her hands, sweating, 'I beg of you, please don't say anything embarrassing or blow my cover! ' she pleaded in thought "And right here I have the photo we took just a bit ago!" He said before pulling out a photo. It was the one that took in front of the sign, "look it's me and my beautiful granddaughter ~"

'Kyyyaa he blew my cover! My face!' She thought in shock then covered her face, The students started looking at the crimson haired girl.

" that's her?"

"His granddaughter nanako?"

"They look alike"

"Oh really?"

" she's kinda cute~"

Sullivan held the photo, "Copys will be made available for everyone later~"

'I promise you no one wants that!' She thought embarrassed as she shook her head, Sullivan returned to his regular form, "well, that's regally what I wanted to say so, bye~!" He said before returning back to chibi and leaving the stage "And now, we'll have a greeting from the new students representative " the brown haired teacher said before a male student stood up, He had pink hair with pink eyes, He clothes were white and pristine.

" the representative of the new students Asmodeus"All the female students started gushing at his appearance, nanako couldn't help but blush too

" what a hottie~" a blond haired girl gushed " so that's what he looks like~" a pink haired girl with light pink skin also gushed "Ohh! Curse me please~" the long dark blue haired girl squealed  " yeah, he's alright" some one eyed alien girl says brushing her eyebrow aside like it was hair "What sorry?" The teacher says while nanako was in thought ' he's a perfect distraction' she says in relief "Giving the address in his place, our honour student young nanako" the teacher finished saying.
Shocking both the girl and Asmodeus, who stopped walking. 'Why?!?' She exclaimed

"What the heck?"

"This girls doing it?"

"A replacement?"

Sullivan stood behind the curtain in his chibi form, He was holding a camera and he gave the girl a thumbs up. ' I knew it!' She thought as she looked at her grandpa ' I'm finished!!!.....' she dreaded "Nanako, please come to the stage!" The girl sadly stood up shaking " oh wow she's just a baby" the same alien girl from before brushed her eyelash away, When she got to the stage, a piece of paper floated next to her.

"Check it out. She's infront of a crowd this big and not blinking"

"She's got guts!"

'I can't freeze on the spot like this!" She thought as she nervously sweats "If you wouldn't mind, giving your greeting" the brown haired teacher said as Dread came over the poor girl 'are you kidding me?! what am I supposed to say here?' She looked over at the floating paper, which fell into her hands, There were writing on the back of it "I've sent you these words of wisdom for good luck and well wishes, so that you don't trip and fall throughout your upcoming school days, your loving grandpa" it read there was also a phrase at the bottom of the page. ' huh?I'm just supposed to read this out loud?....guess I have no choice!' She thought before taking a breath in.

"Abreuhauke" The students and parents felt dread come over them at the first word she spoke. "Tarutudari, iusabebe" The teachers looked at her in shock 'Why's everyone so quiet?...' she wondered before continuing, Sullivan recorded the whole thing. "Risuturu, aburuze, sutumanu, aberuge,uru, mahoraba, tsurezaza...!" Nanako finished saying, A cyan light quickly appeared behind her, before disappearing. "Wah!" The crowd cheered

"Your kidding me!?"

"Wow!"

"Seriously??"

"Yes!"

"She did it!"

"What's with this girl?"

The brown haired teacher walked up to nanako "Hey you! You can't go chanting "Forbidden spells like that! " he scolded her. She looked at him confused, "uh...wha?" She asked "They're taboo! And for good reason! If you were to stutter or read it wrong your body could've exploded! That's just common sense!" He warned her, Nanako spit, 'that's news to me!' She thought in disbelief. Her knees started to shake like a leaf "H-how could I have know it was so dangerous..." she muttered.

"That stunt was foolish dangerous and crazy! And unbelievably awesome too!" The teacher said as he gives her a thumbs up smiling " huh?!??" Making her feel with dread and confused "only a total idiot would use that spell, or an oblivious demon who doesn't fear death" he explained smiling. "Eh....B-by the way, what exactly does that spell do?" She asked the teacher, sweat dropping "If it works, it'll prevent you from tripping and falling the entire day" he answers

"Wait That's it?....." She said as she closed her eyes, She shakingly went down the steps by the stage, only to get stopped by Asmodeus, who glared at her, "you may call me Asmodeus Alice" he introduced himself to her, Nanako looked up at him, nervously, "uh...hello...?" She said like a question.

All of the sudden, the two were outside in the courtyard, Asmodeus stood in front of her as she shivered in fright. 'W-why do I feel like I'm about to die now?' She thought to herself, Students began running to the courtyard. "the head of the class and the honour student are about to duke it out!"

"This should be great!" Soon the two were surrounded.

Nanako gulped as she looked at the pink haired demon, "excuse me...are you going to eat me?" She asked him

"I was suppose to deliver the school greeting, the punishment for thieving that spotlight from me, is most assuredly death!" Asmodeus yells as he rosed his arm up, A flame appearing in the palm of his hand.

Asmodeus Alice, a demon well known for his mastery of the fire spells

"Eh?" Nanako's eyes widened " and since you so rudely stole my thunder, I reserve the right to test your metal and see if your truly worthy of it...agreed?" He glared at her as the fire in his hand grew in size " I will not hold back, even if you are a woman" The students around them started to cheer for the pink hair demon. "T-They're really into this..." the human girl said out of disbelief, Asmodeus charged at her as she yells " you only have mere moments to prove to me that you...are superior to me! With your body!" He yelled as he threw a fireball at her.

A loud explosion is heard. He continued to throw more fireballs at the girl, The crowd cheered for him

"Asmodeus is so badass! No newbie can handle fireballs like that!!" A student said

"He's amazing, but..." one trailed offf as they watched the scene below

" yeah, he hasn't hit her once!"

"I mean I dont mind watching her move about like that, I mean look at her ~"

Nanako was dodging all the attacks. She jumped out of the way of one, "hey wait! Please! Calm down! Wah!" She screamed as she dodged more fireballs

" now take this!" He threw another, but somehow, every fireball he threw she managed to dodge, Asmodeus was getting mad at her, The more he threw at her the more she dodged. 'Why can't hit her?' He thought in disbelief.

A huge explosion could be seem rising up for another side of the building, Both Asmodeus and nanako were exhausted, The ground was charred from the attacks the guy threw

For about twenty minutes, nanako managed to dodge every single attack

Asmodeus looked up, he hair was a mess. "What the hell, i haven't hit you once!" He asked her as he sweat, Nanako looked up with white eyes, "I'm sorry, sorry" she apologized.

How was A feet remotely possible? In truth...its because she's unfortunate, after being put through endless hell by her Garbage Parents, by default she became a master of avoiding anything, whether Dangerous, scary or painful, she dodged it all!

'Nows my chance...I need to apologise' she thought as she tried to catch her breath.

She may have zero offence but her defence is infinite, if given a name! this rare power would be called "overwhelming crisis evasion capability"

"Ah, for real I'm real sorry-" she tried to apologise, But was cut off by the whispers of the other students.

"Nanako's a beast"

"She haven't even tried to attack him yet!"

"Wait! Is she saying he's so not worth her time!?"

"Well are they right?...am I so not worth attacking you won't even bother...?" Asmodeus asked her as he glared, She shook her hands in front of her frankly, "nonononono! It's not you at all! I'm the unworthy I'm here!" she told him, The crowed started to laugh, One guy wolf whistled "It means you're less than a bug!" A student yelled at Asmodeus "Hurry and run away your tail your mommy coward!" Another one yelled "You tell him!" And another one yelled.

Nanako stood up with her arms raised in a panic, "n-no! You've got it all wrong!" She yelled ' what's wrong with these guys?! Can't they hear what I'm saying?!??'

Asmodeus stood up as well, "I will not abide this!" He yelled. He than forms a fire sword in his hand, "if magic wont work, I'll just have to take you down using martial arts!" He yelled at the human girl, He then runs towards her with the sword pointed at her, "prepare for destruction!" When he got close, nanako grabbed his hands and pushed him away from her.

She Uses her opponent's strength to parry, another part of her "overwhelming crisis evasion capability"

the pink haired demon aim was off her, and was with no control, charging towards another student, another female student, Nanako reaches out towards him, "look out!" She yelled, She ended up wrapping her arms around the demon, 'we'll fall!' She thought. She than felt her body go backwards instead of forward, Pulling Asmodeus's body over her own, An explosion of smoke covers the area of the two. 'If it works, it'll prevent you from tripping or falling the whole day' the words the teacher told her before relay in her head, The group of students from the gate earlier came to the scene.

"What's going on here?" One asked. "A duel on the first day of school...!" Bi-hair demon said

" that's never happened before!"

All the other students stared at the scene in disbelief.

Those who witnessed the duel that day, would later say..

The smoke disappeared to reveal the two in they're position of a suplex

Yes, it was without exaggeration, a perfectly executed German suplex!

The whole crowd burst into cheer, The dread look returned to nanako's face ' I'm doomed...' Later a news article is was pasted on a board about nanako, and apparently a picture of the suplex was taken too "chanting a forbidden spell At the entrance ceremony, gave the head of the class a concussion!"

"Behold the Thorough bred honour student nanako's amazing attack!"

"That honours students insane!"

"I heard she saved a girls life!"
