Nanako jumped up and to they're surprise, caught the ball with both her hands " oh wow..." the three said in awe at the girl who was shocked by her own actions, but then looked up with the ball on her hands " yes I got it!!!!" She exclaimed in pure joy"That was splendid!" Azz cheered as the three rushed over " you were incredible!" Iruma exclaimed "High-five Demi! High-five Demi!" Clara shouted giving her a hand up

" high five!" place her bruised palm in her hand, She then picks up one of the balls "time to get serious!"

" yeah!" The three behind cheer

Time skip

Sunset had arrived and both Sullavin and opera stood outside in the yard messed with the green balls everywhere "looks like She's as ready as she can possibly be" he comments as the two look to the four lying against the tree asleep form the training "Yes. She trained mighty hard." Opera spoke " she's quite ready...but I don't she'll be ready when 'they' arrive" he stated " don't you worry about that" the chair demon assured, then clicked his fingers and a small little glowing ball appeared

" I promise, she have her memories back....and I will keep that promise" he says determined as they looked at the ball float and absorb into the sleeping girl

One day she found herself the granddaughter of the demon named Sullivan, Sullivan loves and spoils Nanako, and is even sending her to the most prestigious school in the land, but there's just one problem, the school Nanako's attending, just so happens to be the demon school known Babyls.

'I can't ever let them find out I'm human, or I'm gonna end up eaten for sure!' Nanako thought while she was surrounded by demons

But now something seems to be awakening with in her, And sullivan seems panicked about some people coming 'home'

There was the sound of two baby's crying, lying in a cradle " nana! Koko! Don't cry!" There was the sound of a young boy " your big brother akane is here!" They chimed, which the two stop and start laughing " ohhhh, look you made them stop crying" a woman says " yes mother!" The young boy smiled " oh hello my babies!" The area then changed while the babies coed reaching up to the woman

Outside in a garden

There was another about a boy chasing to little toddlers, from the girl's POV she was laughing while making things float, and the boy who barley dodged, but finally caught her " nana! Stop making things float" He scolded while the toddler laughed " I got kokoa!" He turned and saw the other boy ' akane' with the same hair colour but much taller, carrying another toddler who kept Struggling and whining in his arms " finally, baby's are too much work" the boy holding the less tantrum toddler grumbled making the other boy laugh" come on lindo, you, me and azura were just like these two when we were they're age!" Akane smiled

" hey! I was not!" He growled while the other laughed what the two didn't notice was the little girl in 'lindo's' arms was Floating two yellow buckets, and while the two were distracted, they crashed into the two, Making them grunt and fall to the floor, However the two floated to the ground, clapping they're hands laughing " damn it..." lindo growled" even at her age...she's a fast learner..." akane smiled sheepishly, even thought his head hurt from the collision

" that's it! I'm using magic!" Lindo's hand started glowing" NO!!!!" Akane exclaimed tackling him to the ground " don't you even think about it lindo!"

" let go of me!"

" aww look who it is!" The two toddlers stoped and turned and saw a girl With the same hair colour as the rest " my widdle baby sisters~" The two crawl over to her coe-ing happily as she picks them up with out any problems " was akane and lindo being a bully?" She asked as the two boys stop fighting " azura?!"

" no I wasn't...." akane says pouting

" these two are not babies! They're beasts!" Lindo halted at the two ' nana' stuck her tongue out and blew a raspberry at him, Making the others laugh while he stared in shock before getting angry " you...little!...." before someone, smirking mischievously waved they're hands and...." be!-" he was cut off by getting covered in some dirt who he'd rained from above him, the others looking confused to what just happened " honestly..." they looked to where they heard the voice and saw a boy with slightly reddish orange hair, also some collar around his neck " lindo, you fall for stupidest pranks every time" he grinned

" Ruth..." lindo growled

" oh children~" a voice coed they all turned and saw a very familiar demon along with a man with the same hair colour as the children

" alright, no more fighting" the man chuckled

Back to reality

She wakes up gasped with a shocked expression planted on her face  " w-what...was that?...a dream?..."

Next day

The day of the execution can ball promotion exam, has arrived, Nanako sat at breakfast, eating the same amount of food she'd usually would " the days finally here" Sullivan says " how are you doing? Do you feel pretty good about your chances?" He asked"I do!" she says quickly, before slouching " or, that's what I'm telling myself at least..." she smiled nervously " oh are you still frightened then?" Opera asks as they walks over with a cup of hell grey tea

"Well...I mean...maybe a little" she smiled sheepishly scratching her cheek"If so, here's one last bit of advice," Opera started before sipping the chair demons tea, "isn't that's my tea?" Sullivan whined

"You could consider it a life hack for future use" opera suggested as Sullivan grumbled being ignored

"A life hack?" Nanako questioned tilting her head "It's an old netherworld technique to get ourselves through predicaments, fear brings utter humiliation for demons. In regards to survival in a competitive society like the netherworld, fearing your enemies are tantamount to defeat, so this, the more scared you are, the bolder you must, transform your fears into excitement." Opera drinks more of Grandpa's tea  " I said that's my tea" Sullivan mumbled

Outside Her three friends stood outside waiting for her " morning! morning!" Clara jumped up and down" good morning nanako!" Iruma called out"Lady nanako, we came to pick you up!" Asmodeus called out"Oh I've got to." She went back to her food and finished what remained "Thanks for breakfast Opera." She stood up feeling a bit unsteady " woah..." she held her head Opera ran up and steadies her

"You okay?" Opera asked "I'm fine just a bit lightheaded" she says as she stood tall  " maybe it's from the training?" She picked-out her hairband and tied her long crimson hair into a pony tail

Time skip

Students started arriving to school taking about the promotion exam

" today's promotion exam day right?!"

" maybe Asmodeus is gonna raise his rank even higher!"

" I mean how can he not?"

" well, sometimes keeping a hot guy in they're place can be a good thing" the alien looking demon says

Inside the school, looking through the windows, ameri was keeping an eye out for a certain crimson red head "Today's the day" Nanako along with the rest of her class were gathered at the misfit class gym, also got with,  Kalego who held out the execution ball "Victory is mine! Im going to show nanako how tough the future demon king is." Sabbnock stated while he flexed his huge overwhelming biceps "No! It's mine." Goemon argued "Let's finish this up so I could go home and play my video games," Shax said bored

"I haven't worked out in forever." Jazz says hands on his hips "Please take it easy on me," Elizabetta said "I swear I shall protect you." Caim said, being the usual perv, as Agares yawned, Azz turn towards nanako with motivation "lady nanako, Let us show them all how your trainings lead up to." "Yeah" She nodded, Clara, shouting excitedly and jumping up and down" and remember, try to have fun like you did during training" Iruma added " right" she nodded

"Silence clowns. Pay attention as we go over the rules." Kalego says, then snapped his fingers to get the cute demon heart presentation
" execution cannon ball, super easy! Check it!" The tutorial began "1: each team should have one person stationed outside the field. 2: everyone else stands within said field. 3: if the ball hits you; you're off the field it's okay to attack out of bounds, but please note if you managed to get someone out you can't return to the field. 4: you may only use magic on the ball, direct magic attacks on your opponents are forbidden. Ready let's all play-"  Kalego interrupts her again by slammed the cute explanation to the floor  "That basically sums it all up." He said

" He sure does hates that cute little explaining heart thingy." Shax commented sweat dropping

" I feel sorry for it..." Nanako whispers as Iruma nodded "Your promotion will be determined by which team triumphs, as well as the rankings of the opponents you hit." He the gestured to a box with two different coloured bands "Here are the armbands for teams A and B. Team A is yellow and Team B is red once you put them on split up to your sides," Kalego said handing out the armbands  That being said, everyone collects their assigned armbands, Clara went first and drew a yellow band " yellow!" She cheered

Nanako went next and she too had yellow, then went off to the team, Azz collected his armband and stand by her side. " it's finally time" he smiled " oh...I'm so nervous!" She shivered Hands cupped over her heart "Fear not love, you've trained like a real beast! Now let's show this class what your made off" he assured which made her smile " yeah!" She nodded

'Little Beast!' While no one was looking, she began surprised when he said beast, like she heard someone say it before, but the. Shook it off, She placed on her yellow band while Azz placed on his red" now let us enter the court-" the two stopped when they're realised they're arm bands, Both look at the other surprised at the arrangement. "T-Team b?" Nanako pointed to his red band "Team a?" Azz pointed out to her yellow band

Azz protested in anger "You were split to even out the power balance. No objections. Line up!" Kalego snaps his fingers everyone gathered around  " yeah! I win nana!" Clara cheered " but!...this!....this!...." Nanako turned to him as asmodeus muttering to himself upset "Aww Come on now, it's okay, ." She says ' this just means I'll have to help my beloved from the enemy camp!'

" fine! I'll handle it!" He said determined while she looked confused " what do you mean?" She asked "Come on, hurry up nana!" Clara called out "I'm coming!" She says, she quickly turned to azz "Promise to do your best." Nanako said before heading to her team "indeed! you can count on it!" Azz said 'How am I help my beloved if I'm on this side?' He wondered as he went over to his side.

"Now...Commence, Execution Cannonball!" Kalego shouted starting the game, then blew the whistle

'It's finally time' Nanako smiled, Shax holding the ball as he talked to the team, gaap, iruma, Schneider and Caim "just play it safe, Everyone knows that. So don't throw the ball at nanako!" He said to his teammates " got it" gaap says, the four then look over at Asmodeus "We've already seen that's she's skilled enough to defeat Asmodeus, and that she's a master of evasion"

"plus Asmodeus might kill us if we even try and throw it at her" Iruma sweatdropped "A wise man never courts danger." Schneider says"What's the matter? Hurry up and throw the ball" Sabnock said smirking "Good idea, how about right at him?" Shax smirked, he then thought back to when class first started " Remember? He let all our traps hit him when he arrived in class that day." He reminded

"Great idea." Gaap says as the group nods "Seize the day as they say." Schneider said"So, who's gonna throw?" Shax asked " I'd be delighted too!" Caim says
" I'll do it" Iruma raised his arm "Let me be the one!" Gaap raised his hand, while the four were distracted, jazz used the opportunity to steam the ball somehow "Too late sorry " he smirked

" gah?!??" They exclaimed"When'd you even?...." Shax stared agape" and pass" jazz handed the ball to over to sabnock "Indeed... which one of you suicidal fools is ready to accept my ball?" Sabnock smirked narrowing his eyes which the team aside from Asmodeus grew nervous, Keroli creates a huge ice crystal to protect herself, Sabbnock throw it, crashing into the ice crystal, but unfortunately, it lands on Keroli's head and she's out. " Keroli your out-" as Kalego spoke, Caim managed to catch the ball, before it could hit the ground. "This ball just hit a girl!" He shouted "Yeah! But caught it that means she's safe!" Shax said amused like the other two but.....

Caim went over to Elizabetta to give her the ball on one knee. "Here! Id love to get to know you better."

"Forget it. That's an out....." Shax sighed disappointed " what are you doing?!" Iruma exclaimed "You do realise you're giving the opponent the ball, right!?" Goemon shouted "Camui, you crossed over to the enemy's side your out," Kalego called him out

" huh?!"

"Wait, wait time out," Shax mumbled as his team walking over to him and stomping on him, Iruma sweat dropped at what he witnessed his team doing"What the hell, you stupid bird?!"

"I'm gonna fry you up and eat you!"

"Anticlimactic!"

"Resume the game at once. Or your disqualified!" Kalego spoke in a very angry tone, the three had no choice but to sulk and listen " yes sir..." while camui went to the out field, While that happened the water demon went into deep thought ' should I let him out?....'he wondered, Kerori went to get the ball " hey uh...the ball is..." Clara had pulled out multiple different sports balls from her two enchanted pouches." oh wow there's so many!" Nanako gasped, Agares yawning as he floated by"Goodness. There are balls everywhere." Elizabetta spoke marvelled

"Crap, Which is the real one?" Jazz questioned "This is another trial to become Demon King," Sabnock exclaimed " we should look for it too" Shax says
" your right" Gaap agreed, as Schneider tripped on one of them " ah! My devi bone!"

"Found it!" Sabnock shout triumphantly Everyone looks over and sees Sabnock raising a 'ball' above his head. "My eyes do not deceive me. Behold!" It wasn't the ball, He held out a purple football-shaped demon-like ball, it had horns, red eyes, and viciously sharp teeth. ' wha?!?!?' Nanako stared in shock

"Yeah, that's definitely not our ball." Jazz sweat dropped a hand raised concerned, Agares floats over the field yawning. "You guys are so....Loud!" He strikes down the field using his magic, the force punches everyone to the sky even in midair screaming " Yep! Sorry guys! He's coming out!" Iruma yelled, before clicking his fingers before his blue changed to purple " who's coming out?!" Shax exclaimed"Oh no...he means his wicked side!" Nanako yelled

" ugh, who woke me up?" He grumbled with a completely different voice, until he took in his surroundings " he woke me up for something stupid like this?!??!?" He exclaimed " holy...so that's iruma's other half..." Nanako mutters finding him somewhat attractive, before returing to her senses" hey?!? Where's the ball?!!" Nanako questioned, After looking  frantically jazz finally spotted it

"Right there, grab it now!" Jazz shouted, Nanako ran after it and jumped into the air' keep your eyes on the ball...and grab it!' She thought as it flew towards her, and caught it with no problem, She landed on both feet with ease, Everyone is amazed, but team B was terrified.

"Nanako?!" Gaap exclaimed

"Crap!" Shax said

" your amazing nana!" Clara cheered

Sabnock hummed smirking with the rugby mouth ball on his head " well done my lovely bewlg rival"

  "Your out, Agares, you used your magic instead of the ball," Kalego called him out "Only because they're so noisy." Agares yawned and drift away to the sidelines  ' I can see my training paying off!' She smiled ' thank you opera!' She then got ready to throw "now I'll throw!-" she stoped herself turning white ' crap they didn't teach me to throw!!!' The other team mistaking fear for determination, grew worried "She looks so intense!..." Gaap shivers "Hurry you guys! Spread out!" Shax yelled to the rest of the team " tch, idiots" 'wicked' Iruma grumbled

Meanwhile Azz was still in deep thought " help her...but how?" He wondered "You show them the full power of an honor student nanako!" Jazz cheered, Nanako looked worried look around the place to see all eyes on her ' everyone's staring!...' Just the she  felt a giant hand land on her head. "That was an excellent catch my dearest and rival" the blond complimented " oh sabnock" he took the ball " let me handle the attack." The readies to throw it, his eyes locking his focus to Azz ' I don't like it, we're in the heat of battle and he's daydreaming! Since becoming my lovely rivals wiling underling, he's gone completely soft as a demon!'

"Then I shall wipe you back into shape!!" Sabnock hurled the ball right towards Azz at Mach speed "Azz! Look out!" Nanako cried Azz caught the ball in his hand with ease and still kept his composure, surprising the girl and the tall blond demon, He glared at him in mere annoyance And with fury in his eyes. "How dare you...disrupt my focus!" Azz threw the ball back and hit Sabnock for a loop. "Off the field. Sabnock, your out." Kalego said  Sabnock refused for a while before caving in and run out of the field. "Pass the ball to me outside." He shouted in defeat 

Clara waved a cloth laughing " fair thee well gigantic one" " um...okay" Nanako  smiled sheepishly while " honestly..."Azz says, then went back to his thinking "Oh wow that Asmodeus sure is Bad news" jazz says"Lesson learned, Don't throw at that on" Elizabetta agreed, And nanako couldn't help but giggle nervously. "Okay! Sabro. I will avenge you!" Clara playfully threw the ball carelessly at Azz, who caught it without looking and threw it back tagging Clara. "Valac you twit..."Kalego facepalms himself at the annoyances " come on..." jazz groaned while Nanako grows more nervous

Just then some water surrounded the ball before Jazz could get it " hey! What the?!-" Which was then brought to a personality swapped demon, who continued smirking mischievously as the ball was brought to him " I think I'll spice things up...you better start run!!!!" He threw it, Sending it flying thanks to the water pulse he fired " hit the deck!" Jazz yelled, the team threw themselves to the floor, but one of the cursed doll that had been on they're team, got hit, and sent flying across the field yelling " curse!!!!~"

Nanako grew even more nervous

The match continued in this manner at a steady pace

" oh my!" Elizabetta was hit out

"Out!"

Next out was Schneider

"There's no excuse for failure!" He cried

"Then what's yours?" Kalego commented "Off the field now!"

One after another, the demons were quickly eliminated from the court

Jazz was next, then shax, gaap, of course, and then Iruma

" ow!" Who returned to his normal self, after being hit

and the other cursed doll

then finally

The ball rolled to azz, who kneels down and picked it up " this is..." he looked at the court to find himself and nanako alone from either ends"The only ones left are Asmodeus and nanako!" Jazz announced, he stared in shock 'No! My beloved eternal flame and I are the last ones standing!' He exclaimed in thought, While she stood her ground, even through she was still nervous " this should be good since nanako's so hard to hit " jazz comments"Job well done my lovely rival" sabnock smirks " get him yeah!" " yeah nana!" Elizabetta and Clara cheers, The cursed dolls waved they're arms while agarase yawned

" come on! Kick her butt!" Shax cheers " the victors are the true authors of history" Schneider comments, Caim was too busy talking to keroli who was watching the court anxious and nervously "now let us cheer together, Whada you say?" Kalego was watching the tow carefully as well, Meanwhile azz was panicking 'How this happened? I was so deep in thought. I haven't noticed at all. There's so way I can attack my love!' He then came up with something 'Wait if were the last two players remaining, the only possible thing to do is just to give my sweetheart the ball! And let her hit me!" He smiled and turned to her " nana-" but then sees her face gleaming with intention and eagerness then everything  becomes clear to him

' Shame on me...have bothered to look at my beloved face even once since this wretched started....' his bands covering his eyes ' let her hit me?...loose deliberately?!....and have her gain a rank that way?!..how foolish can I be?!?!?' he started remembering all the hard work she had put into her training for this event ' I've been by her side watching how hard she's worked, and yet...I thought only of myself! I never even considered what lady nanako's thinking...stands there alone, it must be torture!" He grit his teeth ' you have humiliated yourself Asmodeus!!!'

Azz snapped back to reality, nanako shielded her face from the flames As they swirling around him even kalego sweat dropped " full strength deserves reciprocation" he says with the damn sexy deep voice!!!! " I am a demon who values and respects educate" he took off his coat, revealing underneath his vest and silk purple shirt while holding the ball in his right hand "I am Asmodeus Alice, and I will give this everything i have!" He says with a scary mixed with determined expression "Now you're being serious." She mumbled under her breath, smiling painfully ' I'll catch it!'

What they didn't realise was Ameri and the others student body came down to check on the first years' promotion exam. "It's pretty rare for you to watch the first year's promotion exams. Oh! You must be interested in the top student Asmodeus!" The blond demon smiled"He would be an exceptional candidate to welcome into the student council agreed?."  The make with two parted hair questions "On the contrary, it's possible. we might see something even more interesting," Ameri said, smiling, Nanako stood her ground against Asmodeus

"Oh my devi, It's down to a one on one!" Gaap says excited " yeah, who cares if we out" shax says then raised his arms "Asmodeus get her!" He cheered

Elizabetta cheered " go nanako! You can do it!" "Go go nana! Fight on fight On!" Clara waved her arms and legs up and down while sat on sabnock's shoulder, who hummed in thought " if only I could return to the court" he mumbled, also glared at Asmodeus for having to fight against her "Hey, you know what I just realised, this is they're fight battle since the entrance ceremony" jazz remarked, Nanako watched as he raised her ball in slow motion ' azz seems completely different than usual, he looks serious...No that's actual malice in his eyes!' Just then he reacted, he roared as he raised the ball to throw, which the class panicked " there it is, get back!" Jazz exclaimed, sabnock reacted also and Clara fell of his back

Nanako shivered ' I'll admit, I'm a little scared...I've gotten through loads of sticky situations...my whole life ever instinct had always told me to run.....but still...i can do this!!!' taking a deep breath she charged forward with every step, She remembered what opera told her

"This means the more scared you are, the bolder, you must be"

' be bolder!' She thought, Everyone grew shocked at her actions " what's she doing?!" Gaap yelled in shock " do you have a death with?!" Shax exclaimed wide eyed

"transform your fears into excitement!"

The ball barrels to her as a fiery ball, Nanako grunted while trying to stand her ground, it had enough force pushing her back ' this is...azz's true strengths?...I cant!...it's too powerful!...what do it do?!!!' She panicked ' and remember little sis....' a male voice reacted in her head, which surprised her ' huh?!?!'' the angrier you get, the more stronger you get, so whenever you get in an intense situation, think of something to make you angry, and you'll be a lot stronger!'

'who's saying that?!' She exclaimed

Meanwhile else were, the chair demon was working while opera was bringing him tea, just then he felt the spell he cast beginning to take its toll ' it's happening!'Back at the exam, nanako started seeing strange flashes, including the ones she saw last night, of the same little girl who looked similar to her, interacting with people she didn't know 'Wha?!- what is this?! That can't be!- is that me?!? I thought it was a dream!!!!" She then started seeing Sullivan in the dreams with some elder woman 'grandpa!!?? What's he doing in there!?'

' but I'm not a demon I'm a...human!!!....aren't I?!'

' you need to focus on your target!' One of the flashes caught her eye, a little girl with the one called lindo, had a target in front of them, she holding a ball similar to the one she was holding ' raise the ball, and with anger combined, throw it at your target! But most of all, get!. Angry!' Her eyes were closed, but once they opened, the were flames forming in them

"In that case!" She moved her feet, and meanwhile inside nanako's body, there was a pulse with a reddish, pink arua, along with the sound of a ringing returned

but this time, it was stronger,  more intense, and a slight outline was glowing around her, like it did last night "I'm just!-have to-" she grunted, azz shielded his face from the intense flames, While everyone else was watching in awe, shock and surprise, slightly more from kalego, since when he saw the arua around her, it reminded him he'd seen it somewhere before "Have to!-" azz watched shocked as she jumped up, then aimed it at him "Throw it back!!!" She let out a roar and threw back the ball at quite a speed no one could track it, the ball scrape Azz's shoulder blazer, everyone gasped. " ah...what have i...just witnessed?..." The blond freckled council member spoke, Ameri smirked at nanako's success.

However the ball, wasn't finished with its journey, after scraping past azz's shoulder, it still continued flying until it hit the wall, but once it collided with it, the field on team b's side split in half all the way from the court to the wall, much to everyone's disbelief, Nanako too was speechless until Professor Kalego breaks the silence by blowing the whistle. " The winner of this match is Team A." Kalego announced, Nanako stood in utter disbelief as her team cheered "We won?..I won?!" She exclaimed as the team Ran over

Clara was the first one jumping and hugging her " that. Was the coolest!!! It was like woosh woosh! Twirly twirly! And kaboom! And kapoowy!!!" Nanako laughed while being hugged "Well down my lovely rival, You even managed to destroy the court." Sabnock mentioned  making her look back to it and much to her sweet dropping, it was a mess " yeah! like a boss!" Elizabetta smiled" let's give her a lift! Come on!" Jazz says to the team

" h-hey wait a sec" they all lifted her up "Ready and! Heave ho! Heave ho!" They all toss her up in the air, making her squeak but also laugh " weee! So high!" Clara cheered as she took nanako's place" wait, did they switch places?!" Jazz exclaimed " when dit's thou?" Sabnock equally confused "You can try to sabro!" She chimed, The team tried to lift to lift him, but he was too heavy to throw in the air.

Iruma walked over to him after feeling in complete control again from his wicked side " hey azz? Are you okay?" Azz was still in shock over what he just witnessed " I gave everything...all I had..." he murmured as he hand reached to where the ball hit"I'm soundly beaten, I'm truly no match for you my love!" He smiled with the same blush he'd always have

Iruma just smiled know he was okay, What they didn't notice was shax, gaap and kamui came from behind and jumped the two "Nice azz azz!" Shax cheered
"That fire ball was unbelievable!" Caim says in excitement"You were so cool and so was your other self Iruma!" Gaap stated "Uh!" The blue haired boy flinched embarrassed

"Can I call you azz azz?" But instead of fleeing in fear, she presses ever forward, she reflexively thrust the incredible strength of the throw aside, put her own powerful spin on it to sustain its momentum, and threw it back even harder at Asmodeus. She managed to turn that bizarre evasion ability of hers as an effective attack, even managing to break apart the field along with it." Kalego sigh knowing what his next move was

"Nanako!"Kalego called out, throwing her something shiny, she caught it in time flinching at how sudden, She opened her hands to look at the shiny emblem, it's your new rank from Alef(1) to Bet(2)Professor Kalego points his purple fingernail glaring daggers at her"If it wasn't so obvious that Asmodeus had let you win I was never going to allow you raise your rank. Ever."

Nanako gaze at her new achievement in shock "But both of you truly gave it your all, therefore...Nanako I hereby approve your promotion to Bet," Kalego announce
She gasped in shock and happiness " yay! You did it!" Clara cheered" I'm so proud of you beloved!" Azz smiled, everyone else were also disappointed at kalego for the rank number "oh Booooo! You could at least give her rank Gimel rank for that amazing shot!" Shax mumbled"And for destroy the field!" Jazz Added "Indeed, bet for that performance is just insulting!" Azz agreed hole heartedly "Tee po! Boo boo!" Clara mocked the man

"Get over it!" He grumbled at them " it's a marathon! Not a sprint! There will be many exams, if you all want to be promoted as well then you must work harder, That is all." Kalego huffed away leaving everyone baffled. "Hold in! Isn't my rank going up too?!" Sabnock questioned "Negative," Kalego spoke without a second thought, Sabnock flinched "Alright, Let's head home." Jazz spoke as everyone trail behind him "You must tired after all that Elizabetta, shall I massage your shoulders," Caim offered" that's okay" Elizabetta politely declined, as the students talked, Azz noticed someone hadn't left from her spot "lady nanako?" Clara and Iruma had stopped too and looked behind as well, Nanako stood there, clenching the rank she had received in her hand ' I think...I'm still in shock...my heart feels full...for the first time...'

"Congratulations, nanako" A familiar voice snapped her out of it, nanako turned to the source it was Ameri and the student council members behind her " ameri" she says surprised"I was watching your performance. Truly remarkable and different from yesterday." Ameri praises her "But That's-" Azz started "Why do you keep popping up to steal Lady Redhair!" Clara hisses " Clara no!" Iruma and Azz holds her back by her shoulder ' I don't follow, what exactly are they talking about?' Azz thought

"It's just that...I've...never worked that hard for anything for my own sake....but now I finally know...." Nanako smiled "how it feels to accomplish something for myself." She spoke " it feels amazing..."

"Yes. Indeed. That warm, happy feeling you get after overcoming your obstacles." Ameri smiled " using your strong will, both physical and mental, that is truly...It's true ambition!" Ameri yelled with motivation "What the-? Really? Is that what this feeling is?" Nanako asked in surprised and confused, Ameri nodded "Indeed. Your passion, your fighting spirit to see it all through." Ameri spoke

Nanako placed a hand over her chest ' so ambition feels kinda...warm and fuzzy?' Nanako thought as many other reasons go through her head "Regardless. You stepped up, so Well done, nanako" Ameri praises her, Nanako looked at her smiling beamed face. "No. It's because of you Ameri, if it hadn't been for you I wouldn't be here right now conquering my ambition and I think your right it's about time I think for myself of what I wanna do for once. Ameri, thank you." She gleamed brightly Ameri blushes and turns away from her one in a million smile, she tensed up and coughs to distract herself.

Clara continues her hissing and Azz holds her back, envious ' I wish I could hear them!'

"Anyway I also wanted to ask, what happened in those flames?" Ameri suddenly asked" huh?" Nanako looked at her confused " well...I noticing a strange aura around you, a powerful one, it then grew bigger as you threw the ball" the visions she encountered appeared in her head again which made her eyes widened " oh yeah that's right...well-" "Hey Nanako! Professor kalego just said he'd buy us all some drinks!" Shax waved calling out"You wish!" Kalego glared at the boy

" we can talk about it after" she says while Nanako nods, even though she was worried and nervous about what she saw

Time skip

After talking with ameri, nanako was nervous about how she was going to talk with her grandfather, but She walked in anyways " I'm back!" She announced greeted by opera who took her bag " welcome home"

"So?! So?! How did your promotion exam go? Tell me! Tell me!" Grandpa in chibi form shouted curious about the dayShe smiled sheepishly  "Well I...I ended up fighting against Azz, one-on-one in the last round. But I safely managed to raise a rank one level!..." She stated, she showed him that shiny, new badge on your collar to revealing, bandaged hand." oh hohoho! I knew you could do it!" Sullivan cheered as opera noticed her hands

"Safely?" Opera was in a bad mood, since his cat ears pointed down, Opera caught and tangled her hands into they'res. "With all those wounds on your hand?" Opera scolded while she laughs nervously "Azz did some damage.." sullivan mumbled "It's fine. He immediately cried on the floor apologising profusely and I couldn't  get him to stop" she stated while the memory placed back in her head

" please forgive me my love!" He cried " azz it's okay!" She exclaimed in her memory

Nanako rubbed her head a little smiling " I was able to give my full concentration to this match, because of your help"

Sullivan hummed while nodded

" so!...... thank you! Opera!" She shouted trapping them in her infamous, everlasting hugs, Opera ears perk up from their slump, Sullivan glared at Opera. " you helped me so much!" Nanako beamed "It was nothing" he said "But...why....I helped with your training too you know..." Sullivan pouted, until lighting struck down from out side and realisation hit him "Wait, No i didn't!"

"No fair, no fair!" He whines "But You gave me that responsibility." Opera explained hands on they're hips "Hey! What's with the attitude?! You know very well I can't help it! I would have just ended up spoiling her!"He whined then started sulking, So she went up to him and hugged him "But you  did help me, without your words of advice and strengthen my hands. I would be dead by now. Thanks grandpa!" She said smiling, Grandpa whimpered and smother her in tears crushing her in his undying love"My loving, Granddaughter! I love you so much!" Grandpa shouted

"I love you too." She somehow squeak out

" sir your crushing her..." Opera stated" oh no! Nanako!" He exclaimed after seeing the pale girls body from lack of breathing " I'm okay..." she says leaning against him for support

Thus the execution cannonball match and the training that fulled it, came to an end

However.....

" uh...grandpa?" She then asked, making him looked down at her " yes?..."

" when you going to tell me, I'm your biological granddaughter?" She asked, which he flinched but then relaxed and straight his form" so you remember?..." he asked" um...A little, apparently the dream I had last night...wasn't a dream...it was a memory..." the memories slowly flashed in her mind " and...during my one on one with azz...more of them started coming to me..." she explained, feeling a heavy weight over her heart " it's just...if I'm your granddaughter...and I was born in the demon world, and my parents in the human world aren't really my parents....then how am I human?...what was I doing there?...and where....are my real parents?" She asked with a pained expression of confusion

He sighed before guiding her while Opera followed to a painting on the wall, which was covered by a large cloth " it's about time you finally learn who you really are...it would be easier if your grandmother were here" he says while she looks at him surprised " my grandmother?"

" from your fathers side of the family" he says as he reached out and pulled the cloth from the painting, revealing himself, an elderly woman, a man and woman,
Three boys, a girl, and two young girls, child aged, Nanako's eyes widened in shock, mainly at the other kids in the painting, repeating each name she remembered from her memories  " akane..." the eldest

" lindo..." the second oldest

" azura..." the third oldest

" Ruth..." the fourth oldest

her eyes then looked to the two children in the picture " kokoa..."

" my...Fraternal twin..." she gasped covering her mouth in shock" you six were this family's pride and Joy" Sullivan stated " the house was more alive when the six of you were gathered" She looked at him confused " but, what happened?"A gravel look morphed onto his face " you disappeared..." she gasped " one day you disappeared, but not only you, tenzin and mara too, I searched everywhere, all over, but you three were just, gone...it really brought dread upon the family...your siblings most of all..." Sullivan explained" w-where were are they?" Nanako asked worried " recently your grandmother sensed your presence, and once they found out, They said they'd be coming home-" just Then there was then a knock at the door, which made the three perk up

" uh, are you expecting someone?" Nanako asked " Ah, yes i know who it is..." he says as he slowly walked to the door, opening it, nanako's widened, One of them rushed forward, passing Sullivan towards Nanako and embraced her much to her shock "Nanako...." the female sobbed clenching into her tightly, afraid she wasn't real, or she would disappear, Nanako stared at the female " a-azura?..." who looked similar to the girl in her memories, only a little older, tears built into her eyes " it's you...it's really you!..." Nanako buried her head into the older girls shoulder " I'm...home" she heard multiple footsteps approach and lifted her head to see the other three " akane...lindo...Ruth?..." the three smiled with tears in they're eyes as they embraced the two "Welcome home little sis..." akane smiled warmly

" I admit it little beast, even I missed you" lindo says hiding his face So no one could see the tears " I missed my little partner in crime..." Ruth says sniffling, she smiled as her siblings embraced her, but she then noticed someone missing " wh-where's kokoa?" " she's...not here" akane replied, with an uneasy feeling " she's at a boarding school, so she wasn't with us" azura stated " will...I...get to see her?..." Nanako asked curiously

" you will soon, I promise" Sullivan says walking over " right now, let's just enjoy the moment, we have Nanako back, so we can celebrate"

" you've already had her for so long! It's our turn now!" Azura glared pouting " you didn't tell us you found her before she started attending babyls!" Lindo glaring pointing his finger " why are you all yelling at me?!" The elder whined " Nanako had no memories so I had to think of something!"

" that's no excuse! You practically had her all to yourself while we had no idea!" Akane stated unhappy " that was cheap granda!" Ruth pointing at him mocking his glare " how dare you! And to your own grandfather!" He gasped In horror "You were keep Nanako all to yourself!" The four yelled enraged, Nanako couldn't help but laugh 'My family...my real family...' nanako's eyes closed smiling with a small tears streaming down
